Our stay at Minh’s place in Hanoi was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, Minh and his team made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay — from helping with luggage, arranging transport, recommending local spots, to even assisting us with our personal requests. Their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality truly stood out. The home itself is perfect for families. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches. Our kids absolutely loved the dedicated playroom — it kept them entertained for hours while we could relax and unwind. There’s even a bar area for adults to enjoy a quiet drink in the evenings, which was such a nice touch after a day of exploring the city. If you’re traveling to Hanoi with your family (or even as a group), I can’t recommend Minh’s place enough. It’s rare to find a combination of such a fantastic space and genuinely caring hosts.

Minh Minh and Huy made us feel at home and like family from the moment we arrived. They both went out of their way to continually help us and guide us to amazing places to eat which weren’t tourist traps. They helped us when we needed our phone repaired and finding items we were needing to purchase. The location of this sweet home stay is ideal. It’s just a short walk to train street, old quarter and French quarter. Great cafes and restaurants are abundant and only a stones throw away. We found the area extremely safe to venture around day and night. This apartment was perfect for me and my 2 daughters. We will definitely stay with them on any future stays in Hanoi and connect our families and friend with these lovely hosts.

WOW what an absolute GEM in the old quarter. If you want to be smack bang in the middle of the action of the old quarter this is the place ! Easy walk to St Joseph’s cathedral, the puppet theatres , the tourist area next to the lake. Beware there are alot of stairs , especially if you’re in the top room. Every room is on its own floor which was nice with two kids as we all had our own room. The place was very clean and had all the modern comforts - aircon on every floor, brand new beautifully designed / decorated modern bathrooms. Modern TV in every room , every streaming service that we subscribe to worked perfectly. WiFi very fast 👌🏼 Washing machine came in very handy also. One point to note , the place doesn’t have a living room as such. Being from Australia we do love to congregate in a living room but we ended up at the kitchen table hanging out with the kids , which was good ! Communication with Aan and Alex also excellent.

We loved our stay at Runa's homestay; it's a hidden gem in the centre of Hanoi, very cosy, well equipped, clean, with a lovely atmosphere at a great location, we felt at home and welcome right from the start. It helped that the communication was always excellent. Situated right next to the temple of literature. It was our first time in Hanoi: we loved the city. If we come back which I think we will, we know where to go. Definitely recommend it!

Pham was the best host I had in my Airbnb experience so far. Very helpful, lots of great and timely recommendations, always responds quickly to any questions I have. It was my first time in Vietnam and having a host like Pham made it a much easier and better experience. If it's your first time in Hanoi I can highly recommend staying with Pham. He's a great person and will make you feel you already made a friend in Vietnam! 10/10

Un logement très lumineux dans un quartier authentique, et un immeuble calme. Des produits (notamment fruits et légumes) frais, des petits restaurants (pho et banh mi) . Des habitants accueillants. Un lac à 100 m pour se promener. Si je reviens à Hanoï ce sera dans ce quartier assurément ! Une Hôte ( Nguyen) très gentille, serviable. Merci pour tout .

Such a beautiful place! The apartment is spotless, well-decorated, and has a bright, airy feel. The view is spectacular, and being right in the center of Hanoi is a huge plus. The host is kind and always ready to help. The apartment is also fully equipped—perfect for a comfortable stay

5 minutes walk to Lotte mall! There are lots of nearby restaurants and bar! This place is great to hang out with your friends and family. The place is so homy and cozy. There’s even a gym on the same floor! Overall, I love this place, will definitely come back!

It felt just like home:comfortable, clean, and truly wonderful. Hong was always proactive and communicated with kindness, going out of their way to accommodate us. The neighborhood was incredibly safe, and with a lake right in front of the property, evening strolls were delightful. This is definitely a place we’d love to stay at again! Solo female traveler. A great base for a 2+ week stay in Hanoi outside of the tourist center, but easily accessible by Grab bike/car. Apartment exactly matched pictures/description, and the building is very secure. Good location for access to shopping, beauty salons, restaurants, etc. Reliable wifi for video calls. Mattress and couch are both quite firm. Responsive & helpful host. Would recommend if you're looking to get a taste of life in Hanoi outside of the Old Quarter. We have really enjoyed our stay in Tran's apartment. It is well designed and located in a great location where you can easily access to restaurants, shopping mall, gym and much more. On top of that, the host is very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend Tran's apartment to anyone looking for a place like home in Hanoi.

All of us enjoyed staying at Helen 's apartment. There are 3 supermarkets nearby for us to buy our items and easy to move around. Helen was helpful in settling us into the apartment. She was kind to make arrangement for a pick up from the airport to her apartment. Worth the stay and highly recommended.
