The new lock on the apartment door is much easier to use. Susan makes sure the heat is on when you first enter which was welcomed this cold past weekend in Boston. We love staying in Jamaica Plain at Susan’s .

I am one for color, plants and the comforts of home - and Jennifer’s place felt like it wrapped its wonderful coziness all around me. My family used to live in JP, and this place was also a perfect location for us - walkable to the Arboretum as well as the shops, cafes, and library of downtown JP. The skylights lit up the apartment during the day and it felt open and bright. The beds were cozy and every pillow was my friend. Endless hot water for the shower, great towels - helpful when you have a teenager with you. We wished there was a kitchen, but it was a great excuse to eat out more.

This was a great place to stay. We were a bachelorette party of 7 people — and we were all able to take rest time in the spacious are without being on top of each other. That type of space with that price in Boston is awesome. It was easy to get anywhere we needed. And checkout was so simple!

We also appreciated all the little touches like the selection of teas and the coffees & hot chocolate pods for the Keurig. Great location that’s close to Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House and Walden Pond! We would love to come back again.

Cute studio in a great location. The area is very walkable with shops, restaurants and a Whole Foods nearby. The host was very responsive and gave clear instructions. The only downside (out of hosts control) is that since this is a basement apartment the sounds from the street carry quite a bit and this may not be the place for you if you're a light sleeper. The mini fridge, microwave and washer dryer were great too.

Peter was very open, friendly and helpful from the beginning. Whenever we had a question/concern, he replied promptly. He also gave great recommendations. I would also feel safe as a solo traveler.

Melissa is a great host. I stayed for a procedure in my neck and couldn't drive and I live 30 miles away. My dog Conner stayed with me. comfortable bed, great yard and very clean. I didn't use the kitchen, but the house was very clean! Great location. Excellent stay.

This place was perfect for visiting family in the area. I even had a cousin over for tea. For a one bedroom it's pretty spacious, the walk in closet was huge! The neighborhood is very quiet. We were welcomed with a half dozen eggs! Very generous considering the current egg shortage. There's a nice narrow but long driveway to park in. Set behind the house the space feels very private. The amenities were well stocked, plenty of soaps etc. It even had a small air fryer.

My family and I had a very nice stay. The location is very walkable. The owner was kind enough to let us use the parking. There was everything we needed. The house is super cool and my kids loved it.

We had a great stay. Lynn is centrally located in MA, close to Boston and Salem. The train was close by even though we had a car.

I had such a lovely stay. The suite had everything I needed, including one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Everything was clean and tidy and well thought out. Christopher and Mackenzie were so kind and helpful and their guidebook had great recommendations. I loved that I could easily walk to all the local restaurants and attractions. I will absolutely book again if I’m ever back in Salem.

Ms. Linna is a delightful host and is very responsive and accommodating. Her charming, sweet place was perfect for me for the time that I needed. Check-in/out was very easy. The neighborhood is peaceful, attractive, and safe. I can only imagine how things will look once all the snow has melted and Spring/Summer comes through. I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always up to par. Great place if you’re looking for a goodnight rest and a quiet neighborhood.

This was an unplanned stay for us, the hosts were very accomodating to our situation. They provided us with phone chargers during the trip and they made great recommendations about local cuisine.

I spent three weeks in the apartment while working in a Harvard library. It was a delight to come home to each evening. The place is spaciious, comfortably and colourfully furnished and has a welcoming feel. There is everything you could possible need, from crockery and cutlery to various products and other useful items such as umbrellas, rainwear, shopping bags... The bed is really comfortable. The separate washing machine room was great, and the equipment really up to date. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood a half an hour on foot along Brattle Street from Harvard Square or 10 minutes by bus. Leyla herself was wonderfully responsive throughout my stay, and I'm extremely grateful to her for her help and understanding when my flight home was cancelled because of the Heathrow fire. I shall have very happy memories of my stay.

The place was excelente for a peaceful weekend, I wanted to celebrate my birthday and I brought my birthday cake and I found at the cabin some birthday plates, napkins and candles for my birthday cake, I loved the attention, the kind and I felt very welcomed. The place has magnificent views, I did some kayaking in the white pond, I can’t describe how beautiful was the cabin with the viewing, definitely I will come back.

I have stayed at Oscar and Gina's several times and keep going back because it is clean, convenient, quiet, and comfortable. Oscar and Gina are very good hosts. They respond to questions right away and always solicit suggestions for how they can do better. There is a code system to get into the unit, which makes using keys unnecessary.

Greg accommodated our last-minute change of dates and request for an early check-in and we were greeted with lovely notes of welcome throughout the suite: snacks and water! candy on the pillows! kleenex flowers! twinkly lights on the topiaries at the front door! Magazines! Games! Thoughtful touches throughout, very well-stocked in terms of toiletries and cleaning supplies. We stayed nearly three weeks and it was a very comfortable and convenient space, even though it was cold and snowy outside. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and became regulars at Boston King Coffee down the hill.
