thanks so much for the lovely stay. I thought it was so sweet they reached out to ask if it was okay to do some light decorations for christmas. I appreciate the consideration and loved them. when I arrived at the home one of the smoke detectors was chirping and I offered to replace it if they could tell me where some batteries were. bill came over right away and took care of the chirping detector. I really appreciate that.

Pat and Nell were such wonderful hosts. It was the perfect mix of function for a nearby swim meet at St Mary’s and relaxation like a mini vacation. The beds are very comfortable, the linens are nice and the shower is wonderful. Although we didn’t use the laundry it was so nice to have accessible units so we could dry my son’s swim suit and towels in between sessions. The location is just beautiful, filled with lots of history which Pat was so gracious to share with my boys and I. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location and great house. We loved starting the day by drinking coffee on the deck and watching the sun rise over the water.

This beach cottage location is unique between the bay and beautiful marshes; on all sides and through all windows, we can see water and trees, sunset and sunrises. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Kristina was very attentive to all our wishes and did her best so that we would have the best possible time. Our best moment was to kayak from the bridge at Teague Creek (at Rumbley Rd) to the front beach of the house, stopping on sandy beaches along the marshes and meeting a school of dolphins in the bay at the golden hour! We preferred to get spring water (the tap water has a very mild taste) and earplugs may be useful at night if high winds.

We truly enjoyed our time here- This place is so special, and I’m sure that’s because of all the love and care the owners have poured into it. You can feel the warmth and positive energy in every corner of the house.

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

We enjoyed our stay at Bob and Chuck’s peaceful retreat. They are excellent hosts with outstanding communication. Their home is open, spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen is a pleasurable place to prepare meals and socialize. It has everything you need, including plentiful and quality kitchenwares, to prepare delicious meals. Do not hesitate to book.

We had a wonderful weekend at Lorraine’s house. This was our third time staying here and we loved it just as much. We love the adorable decor, the cleanliness, and the private neighborhood. Our favorite places to go are The Calvert Marine museum and the Bugeye Grill restaurant.

We had a great time staying at Betty's wonderful waterfront house. Our family of five plus some friends (another family of five) had plenty of space for everyone in this charming, well-kept home. Beautiful hardwood floors and comfy beds. It had one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever had—ample silverware, cookware, small appliances, TONS of spices and such— which is always important since we always cook lots of meals at home. Though our weather was pretty rainy, the six kids all loved being able to walk along the river and search for rocks and sea glass and everything else. The big backyard was great for football and playing catch. Everyone loved the inside of the home and the selection of games. Just a 15 or 20-min walk to downtown Cambridge for us. This is definitely an "instant bookmark" house for our family and we look forward to coming back at some point with other family or friends—especially in the summertime when we can spend more time outside.
