This was our second time staying at Downwood Holidays as we loved the first time so much! The glass house was perfect for us, and had everything that we needed. The kitchen is fully equipped if you are looking to stay in, with lots of space. The area is peaceful but still close enough to the local town if you choose to head out and about. There is no doubt we will be visiting again in the summer!!! Thank you Leyla once again!! ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at the Woodhouse! It was easy to find and to check in, and we arrived to tea, milk, biscuits and cereal - which was a lovely touch! The hot tub was just lovely - with nice views over the Dorset countryside and horse fields. They had plenty of towels and the heating worked great - which made a huge difference on these cold January days! There were 2 nice pubs in walking distance, both of which welcomed dogs in the bar areas!! Thanks for a lovely stay!! ☺️

Me and my partner had the best nights stay here for his birthday It was Very easy to access with clear instructions on how to get there. Parking was available which is always a winner. Inside was super super clean and tidy and exactly what was advertised online. The coffee machine was fab (big coffee drinker here🙌) Hot tub was spotless and easy to use in a lovely private garden. Also great hosts, who were in contact prior and after our stay to make sure we were happy with everything. Very impressed by our stay and will 100% be returning and recommending to family and friends. Thankyou very much!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the Wagon. A perfect place to get away from it all! The wagon was comfortable, well equipped and clean. The enclosed garden meant we could relax with our dog, the animal neighbours were lovely, and the hot tub was a treat! We will return 😊

Just got back from a 4 night stay over New Year’s Eve with family. What a beautiful cabin, so cosy and well decorated with a Christmas tree and fairy lights which was lovely to celebrate the end of the festive season. Not to mention the spacious 6 man hot tub was the perfect place to see in the new year! We managed to visit Glastonbury, Street, Yeovil, Cheddar Gorge all within easy reach. Carolyn was always friendly and responsive, offering some great restaurant recommendations. She also left us a welcome pack of fresh apple juice, eggs, milk, Prosecco and party poppers to celebrate the new year with. I would love to visit again, highly recommend!

Teresa was a lovely host, very friendly and communicative Sadly I had to cancel last minute, my fault not hers. But I would definitely love to stay there another time.

Lovely place to stay for a relaxing weekend away. Beautiful view. Cute space, very cosy. Fire on upon our arrival making the place extra toasty. Hot tub in the evening with amazing view and great way to see the stars. Thank you.

Ben was a brilliant host at The Cabin. We had a lovely few days away and would highly recommend to all! A brilliant location close to shops and restaurants and super close to the seaside too. The Cabin was very stylish and clean inside, we would love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay, was a last min surprise for my partner's birthday - and Sarah was a great host - very responsive, and had thought of all the little details. The bed was super comfy, the heater and the electric blanket made it a lovely, cosy space. We ordered breakfast as well which was delicious and really good value. It felt slightly on the pricey side for what it was but appreciate it is quite a unique offering in the area and we booked quite last minute. Sarah helped with recommendations for where to eat out and nothing was too much trouble for her. We drove into Swanage / the beachfront as I was heavily pregnant but the distance was walkable. There were lots of fun things to do in town, even off season. The guest book was testament to how many other people had stayed and loved it as well - thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay at Lucy's it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, check in was flexible and easy to do,the clubhouse facilities are only a two minute walk so very well placed and finally lucy was a great host with very good communication.

Very cute little Cabin, 1 minute walk around to the centre of Lyme. Will definitely be coming back in Summer.

We stayed for 3 nights in Annette’s cabin and loved every minute. The place was just the right size for the two of us. Very peaceful surroundings with amazing views. The cabin had everything we could need for a short break away. It was in easy reach of Dorchester - 10 minute car drive away so getting to a supermarket was easy! The cabin was very clean and bed was super comfy!!! We felt the cabin was an home away from home and had some lovely personal touches. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to the area.

Such a clean and cosy Pod - even in February. Everything was so considered, and we can't wait to visit again in warmer weather and make use of the outdoor space. Thanks for everything

First time I have used airBnB the whole experience was easy and stress free Amanda answered my initial questions and message the day before about check in details Nice homely place that suited our needs - lovely site and value for money for the location. On arrival the place was spotless with a comprehensive information book. Literally less then 5 mins walk to the Durdle dor car park. Lovely walk across fields with stunning views Do not expect to ‘get down’ to Durdle door itself if you have limited mobility my dad has a mobility scooter but sadly the slopes and the paths were not usable for him - however stunning views from the top of the car park - and a very nice coffee van there as well Location worked for us we were close enough to see what we wanted would say Lulworth cove parking fees are outrageous £12.40 for 2 hours I did notice a bus runs from the campsite to the cove this had got to be a cheaper option Thank you Amanda for being a wonderful host

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. It was an incredibly clean space in lovely surroundings. Jan and Alan were both very responsive to questions throughout our stay. The lodge has everything you need for a very comfortable stay along with lots of little touches, fresh flowers on arrival was a lovely extra. I would definitely reccomend staying here. We look forward to hopefully staying again in the future.

We just came back from a fantastic stay at Sean’s caravan on the Rockley park Haven site. The caravan itself is in a great location overlooking the harbour and a short walk to the main entertainment/ pool/ restaurants and shop. It’s really modern and in great condition. We loved our cosy nights in with the fire on and would highly recommend staying here. The Haven site itself was okay. There is a mini- mart for essentials, a main restaurant, an arcade, a sports bar and the entertainment hall. There’s also a pool. The only problem I had was trying to book our play passes for the Haven activities. As we had booked on Airbnb outside of the Haven arrival/departure days we didn’t meet their requirements on the haven website but Sean managed to manually amend it for us. To be honest we could have done it at reception on arrival as there wasn’t a queue. All in all it’s a great caravan and we’d be happy to stay again. Thank you Sean

Great place to stay, perfect size for a couple. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very hospitable and accommodated my needs.

Fantastic, beautiful position - probably one of the best locations in Lyme. Really cosy little place with loads of storage space. Lovely, friendly hosts who would help out with anything I'm sure. We needed no assistance as everything was there that you could possibly need. Very sad to leave....definitely back soon.

Stayed at this wonderfully quiet place in March for a little baby-moon getaway. The accommodation was very fresh, clean and extremely well presented. We instantly felt right at home. Carolynn as a host could not have been more helpful. She provided us with welcome brownies, wine, sparkling water, milk and fresh eggs. As well as all the basic amenities such as teas, coffees and hot chocolates. Carolynn also provided a wealth of knowledge on the local area and nearby restaurants and attractions, helping us make the most of our stay. Should we be coming into Dorset again, we will not hesitate to book this excellent place once more.

We loved our stay and it’s perfect for families. The caravan is in a brilliant location and perfect for visiting Swanage and surrounding area. The caravan site is also brilliant and has a pool and shop and restaurant.

Had a fabulous 2 night stay at The Hyde. The place was absolutely perfect, just as described and equipped with everything I needed for my stay. Laura was a fantastic host, proactive right from booking through to checking out. The location was perfect for exploring the area and within easy walking distance of some great restaurants after a day exploring. The apple cake was amazing too!

Fantastic stay, the caravan was spotless and was situated in a great quiet space on the site. Everything you needed in the caravan. Andy was a great host with clear instructions and very responsive, thank you. We are already planning our return trip and will be staying in this caravan again.
