We stayed as a family with 2 adults and 2 kids. The little village is beautiful and the cottage is absolutely gorgeous (exactly as seen on the photos). The attention to detail is amazing, including Neil's genuine interest in his guests (we were all greeted with names and felt right at home). Bridport is only a 5 minute drive away and a wonderful little town to explore, from there it's only another 5 minute drive down to West Bay. Would highly recommend adn we will definitely coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Orchard Cottage. New Forest is a place of outstanding beauty and there are so many lovely trails, pubs and activities around. The cottage itself was beautiful! Hot tub and sauna were also an added bonus. Chris was a brilliant host. He made sure we knew what we were doing with the hot-tub and was able to give us plenty of recommendations for what to do/pubs and a brilliant running track. He went the extra mile to make it special for us! Thank you so much :)

Our stay at Lucy's Airbnb was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location is also ideal, conveniently situated near everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and quiet when we needed a break. My partner and children had such a beautiful time too, and everyone felt comfortable and happy. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to book again on our next trip!

We had a wonderful stay. Jo is such a lovely host, our 5 year old has a wonderful time feeding the chickens and playing with ruby the dog. When we left he said ‘I miss Jo’. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Rowan Barn is just as described in the listing, if not better. The house is very comfortable and in a great location, with a small private garden with views over the coastal hills and golden cap and a larger communal space for the use of guests at the other properties. It was lovely to be able to walk from the house with many paths to choose from and a reliable and frequent buses at the end of the lane. An easy walk to seatown and the anchor pub. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked a return visit

A lovely spacious and relaxed house. The pictures don't do justice to the enormous view! The house is in a very quiet area with hardly any passing traffic so the only sounds are birdsong. We enjoyed relaxing and watching the local wildlife - roe deer (3 male, 3 female), buzzards, a local pheasant and a hare who came to visit one evening and looked up into the lounge window at us! Judi and Anders were perfect hosts. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed (including a pair of binoculars and a record player!). We enjoyed a walk down to Semley via Oysters Coppice nature reserve, where we visited the interesting village shop, the local pub 'Benett Arms' and the church. There are lots of other walks in the area. We also enjoyed visiting Shaftesbury and Mere, and drove into nearby Tisbury to catch the train into Salisbury. Stourbridge National Trust is close by too and well worth a visit. Overall, a great place to stay, we were sad to leave and hope to visit in the summer

Bliss! If you're thinking of booking, go for it (and then add one more night - our only regret was not staying longer to soak in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings). Wonderful, friendly hosts and a lovely warm, welcoming home. We felt right at home and would love to stay again.

Lovely peaceful stay at Lizzie’s eco cabin. The location was private and quiet. The cabin was clean, cosy and warm with the log burner. Lovely to hear the birds singing and to spend some time in a well equipped and comfortable cabin

The Cabin is a perfect location for those looking for a comfortable, out of the way location. The facilities provided are excellent and the Cabin is exactly as described.

The Field Shelter was absolutely wonderful - a fantastic design, spotlessly clean, everything we needed, extremely comfortable beds and peace and quiet. The best location to explore the Jurassic Coast as well. Camilla was an amazing host too. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

I honestly don't know where to start - the most beautiful Air BnB we've stayed in. the cabin itself is absolutely stunning and the location next to the lake and surrounded by the farmland and livestock is just gorgeous. William and Ariana were super helpful and communicative, very clear instructions on how to find the cabin and get inside and were very responsive during our stay if we had any questions. The cabin is warm and comfortable, the bed super comfy too (and I'm really fussy in that respect!). The incredible views out of both sides upstairs are what really blew my mind - no blinds or curtains was perfect for me as I love to wake up with the sunrise, but if you prefer to sleep in, perhaps bring an eye mask with you! Hot tub spotlessly clean and not overlooked except by the somewhat curious cows and sheep. The dogs loved it too. Recommend walks such as the Golden Cap and Hells Lane. Don't miss Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door on your way in or out!

My husband and I had a wonderfully peaceful weekend away in this beautiful and very comfortable property. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and we will certainly return!

We needed somewhere to stay for a few months as our house was going through the conveyancing process. The Annex at Maple Cottage was a fantastic temporary home. Dorothy and Ian were excellent hosts; always available but never intrusive. The Annex was well furnished and supplied. Always warm,, superb TV and great internet. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Chesters mum Sarah was a brilliant host & made us feel welcome. Great communication with clear instructions beforehand. What can I say....if you want peaceful surroundings in a lovely cabin with plenty of birds, squirrels & deer then this is the place for you! we loved watching the woodpeckers, jay's & other woodland birds at the feeder. A compact rustic cabin with everything we needed. It was a treat to feed Henry the Sika deer & his tribe of fallow deer along with Ben & Jerry the little muntjacs. Plenty of places to visit in the area. In particular we enjoyed RSPB Arne, Chesil Beach & Portland Bill, and the walk from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door (worth the steep climb) & back again. We never made it to the local pub as the weather was lovely so we opted to sit by the pond outside our cabin watching the wildlife. Bliss.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Hut! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless—seriously one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. The hut itself was so cute and cozy, with beautiful little touches throughout. The views were absolutely stunning and made for the perfect peaceful escape. Jayne, the host, was beyond amazing—super attentive and kind. She went out of her way to surprise my partner for their birthday, and it meant the world to us. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests having the best experience possible. From thoughtful details to helpful recommendations, Jayne truly went above and beyond. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, we instantly felt at home. We honestly didn’t want to leave and are already thinking about when we can come back. It was the kind of stay that sticks with you, in the best way. 100% recommend the Blue Hut to anyone looking for a special, memorable getaway—you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again, Jayne! Xx

We loved our amazing stay with Martin! Everything was exactly as described! Hot tub was clean and very warm! WiFi was very fast and was able to stream various platforms! We loved our stay and would definitely return!

Had a short weekend at the flat on this loverly farm. If you want some where to chill and have some peace then this is the place to be. Add the style of the flat inside and out and how helpfull Lucy and her crew are, you the have this perfect place. The correspondence and information on the arrival and departure is first class. There is a nice little pub no more than a five minute drive called The Antelope Inn, very friendly. Thanks again Lucy for a wonderful stay.

Had a wonderful time staying at Kingfisher Lodge for 4 nights in April 2025. The weather was absolutely perfect which always helps! Andrea popped around to say Hi a little while after we had arrived and you couldn't hope to find a friendlier host! Her cake is rather nice too! Kingfisher Lodge is the perfect location for a get away, irrespective of whether you want beaches, walking, biking or just watching grazing sheep at the end of the paddock. Definitely hope to be back!

Great place to stay to explore this area of coastline. The Cider Barn is a great model of exactly how you want a holiday retreat to be! Stylish finishes throughout, lovely stay here and very helpful hosts!

the yurt matches the description and photos, inside was homely, clean and smelt lovely. the outside is more "rustic" but this is what we expected given the description and photos provided. there was lots of extra touches (fresh eggs, coffee, toiletries, croissants, games, local guides) and plenty of firewood and coals. the hot tub was heated for us ready at arrival. we loved the company of the chickens and ducks that sat with us whilst we had a few drinks in the sunshine ☀️

We spent a weekend at Swallows Retreat and it was fantastic. Charlotte’s house is in a quiet, secluded location surrounded by countryside, which was perfect for a relaxing break. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy and felt very homely. Charlotte and Jonni were fantastic hosts. Great communication right from the start, with lots of local recommendations. Really friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We have already started looking at making another booking later in the year!

We really enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated and very accommodating for our family of 10. Lesley was a very attentive host and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Lesley and John.
