I had a wonderful stay. There has been some storm damage to the hut I was due to stay in so Linda called me and let me know she had plenty of other options and put me in a wonderful alternative hut. The hut was spotless, warm (with enough wood to keep me warm all weekend) and cosy. Linda was very friendly and responsive. Moonfleet is a beautiful place to spend some time away from normal life and feel in the country side. I can’t wait to go back!

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! We had an amazing one-night stay at this Shepherd Hut with our puppy. Everything exceeded our expectations. The place is exactly as described and matches the photos perfectly. It was extremely clean, and the washroom facilities were spotless with hot water available even at midnight. Arriving late was no issue, which was very convenient for us. In the morning, we enjoyed delicious homemade bacon and egg baps along with fresh coffee. The site itself is beautiful, featuring a dedicated dog field at the end, which was perfect for our pup. The location is also great, being just a short distance from the seaside. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back!

The shepherds hut is a wonderful retreat into a peaceful and very relaxing world where you can take life at your own pace. This beautiful and secluded setting gives you the chance to be free. We spent many relaxing mornings and contemplative evenings relaxing in the garden both in and out of the hot tub, laying in the hammocks or just sitting on the recliners. The bed was super cosy and comfortable and with hidden storage under, bags and cases can be tucked away and we never felt cramped. Well equipped with a clever oven which is also a microwave we were happy to cook meals inside. As it was warm for April we also made use of the BBQ which had all tools provided. Fiona is a wonderful host who makes super cookies 😊 and provided a warm welcome. There if you need her but never intrusive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on New Year’s Eve and was welcomed with a glass of wine and nibbles. Lovely cosy place to stay with a 10 month old baby and a dog. Pub is 10 min walk and lovely surroundings for dog walks. Will definitely return again and the bad weather didn’t dampen our stay.

Thankfully we bumped into Sally’s neighbour who walked us to the site. ( we ended up becoming friends with them!) The accommodation wasn’t very clean, but it was well stacked with everything we needed and more. Beds and pillows were terrifically comfortable. Bath was heaven, evenings and mornings were paradise. Loved eating al fresco and the site contained everything to make us relax. A special thanks for bread, REAL coffee! Eggs, butter and milk! We loved it and would love to return. Just more attention required to housekeeping!

I had a wonderful few days in Michele’s Shepherd’s Hut. Although she was nearby, I felt that I had complete privacy. The home-baked goods on arrival were a lovely touch. The setting is peaceful with beautiful views over Chesil beach. At night, there is just the sound of wind and waves on the beach, and the sky is full of stars. Michele had thoughtfully included a folder of local walks and recommended one in particular which I enjoyed doing. This was one of my favourite ever airbnb experiences and I would recommend a stay here to anyone who wants to recharge their batteries.

Vanessa and stuart where simply great hosts from start to finish nothing was too much the Shepard’s hut is finished and stocked to a very high standard a great bottle of bubbly awaited for our arrival for the partners birthday we had a fantastic welcome party by taloola the pup! and Vanessa herself! The surroundings are fantastic and we had free reign of there lands and lake! It was peaceful private and lots of wildlife too be seen! They stock the cabin with there own homemade apple juice marmalade and spreads local fresh milk and all the basics you could need We would visit again in a heartbeat and would recommend to our friends Jake and Ellis 😁

We had a lovely stay at the Hide. Really peaceful and relaxing, would definitely recommend! Loved the hot tub, a great way to spend the evenings. Also lots of nice beaches to visit in the area.

This was the perfect getaway, the shepherds hut is set in lovely surroundings, it’s in the grounds of the house but still feels secluded and private, it’s really cosy and has everything you need. Sheena is a great host, with good communication at just the right level. We spent a lovely couple of days here and would definitely recommend it for a peaceful break. We spent new year here and would love to revisit in the summer to take advantage of the outside space and bbq.

Gorgeous please to spend the weekend, surrounded by peace and tranquility. We loved visiting Sherborne with its lovely independent shops and bakeries. We enjoyed stopping for lunch at the lay cock cider farm shop and cafe and had a brilliant dinner at the Queen’s Arms pub. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had a lovely stay at this cozy Shepards hut. The highlight is definitely the hot tub, which was extra special at night when we could see all the stars.

We booked both Shepard’s huts to stay with family. They were spotlessly clean, the kids loved the wood pile and we made use of the BBQ / fire pit. Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll be back

Thanks for the wonderful stay Mike, this really is a little gem of a find for those wanting to escape into nature. The property is beautiful situated with stunning sea views and no one else in sight. Congrats on building such a wonderful space and for sharing it on air bnb allowing us all to get to enjoy it. Would stay again and have already recomended 👍

This was a good little find with the back garden basically being the new forest. If you’re lucky you might catch a quick glimpse of a couple off deer’s on a walk like we did. Also a few different types off birds. The location was ideal not far from Bournemouth if you want to spend the day shopping or at the beach. Or like we did we went Alpaca walking. Walks round the forest. Then back to the little home from home with the hot tub logs on the go for a nice soak in the hot tub heated up the traditional way. The hosts were very nice and helpful. So a big thank you. But the best bit for me was my dog fix 😁 lexi there lovely dog become my new best friend when we was there. She Sat with us in the evening and when we woke up she was waiting for us out side the hut. A really behaved dog. Even when we had a bbq she didn’t jump up or even try getting to the food. Really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely go back.

Had an amazing weekend away with my partner staying in the Shepard’s hut we had some nice walks in the woods 🌳that are right next to the hut we seen some deer 🦌 a buzzard some fish a owl and lots of horses 🐴 The outside shower was a lovely addition and was very hot the local restaurant were really nice we had a Lovely time in the evenings next to the fire 🔥 relaxing with a few bottles of wine 🍷 enjoying the peace and quiet and looking at the stars ⭐️ The hut was very clean and the bed was very comfortable also there was a massive amount of firewood so we never need to ask for more thanks for a lovely weekend away

such a wonderful place. The hut is set in beautiful surroundings and is great for a more rustic glamping experience. we spent both evenings by the fire pit just enjoying our experience when wild deer came right up to us. it was an amazing and magical time

We had a really lovely stay in the sunset shepherds hut. It was so nice to get away from it all, lovely and peaceful at the orchard. Some stars peaking through the clouds and a sunset which was lovely to see from the hot tub. Very cosy with the fire going in the hut. Our hosts gave us a bottle of their home brewed perfect vision cider which was lovely. Katherine was really friendly and helpful during our stay, thank you very much, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day. We tried the local pub the fox and hound which was very nice, and had some lovely walks around Cattistock, we also drove into Durdle door which took just under 40 minutes but was beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at Angela’s. A luxurious and romantic cabin with everything we could’ve needed. ‘Holly’ has a super comfy bed and we loved the wood fired hot tub, log burner and wildlife on the doorstep. Watching the stars at night from the hot tub was magical! We would definitely come again and recommend to our friends. Angela was really helpful and friendly and she has done a fab job with the cabin and fitting everything in to the space in a clever and stylish way. Thank you for an amazing and memorable weekend. This is a great place to stay if you want to chill. Such a beautiful place and surroundings were peaceful. very close to Lyme Regis. Hot tub was amazing.
