The kids and I had the best time! Having the sea and beach on our doorstep was incredible. Fossil hunting, fishing, walks, amusements, great food and a very cute little cabin to call our home for 3 days. Waking up and seeing the sea every morning was the icing on the cake. Thank you Neil & Sarah for letting us enjoy some of the magic. We very much hope to be back soon.

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! We really enjoyed our stay. The hut has beautiful surroundings which we enjoyed from the hot tub. We walked to a cafe and then drove into the local town and went to a really nice pub. The hut was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Fiona 😊

What a stay. As a family with 2 young children and a dog we decided very last minute to travelling and staying somewhere for NYE. We like the south of England and came across the gypsy caravan. The kids loved it, happy dog too. Joanne and her team were so incredibly helpful and provided us with so much assistance particularly as it was so last minute. We’re already talking about a return trip this year where we have a bit more time to explore. I highly recommend a stay as everyone we meet from the team to paying guests were all very friendly and helpful. Five stars!!!!!!

It was pleasure to meet such a wonderful person like Lizzie. Cabin was just perfect for us for 2 night stay with dog. Was warm and cosy enough. It is a good place to recharge baterries and disconnect for a while from city life. I highly recommend this cabin and for sure we will back there next time!

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely little annexe situated in a beautiful part of the country. Beach was a very short distance away which was the selling point for me, so many fossils to be found. Had everything you needed and Eric was a great host :)

Felt so serene at Rachel’s lovely place. The Treehouse is more spacious that it looks and the bed was unbelievably comfy!! It gets chilly at night but ok when snuggled up under a duvet and with radiator on. Beautiful scenery with deer and peacocks that seemed so at peace in & amongst the humans :) Rachel sent super clear instructions about check in & check out as well as any updates about the property - I didn’t need to reach out as everything was great but can imagine she’d be very responsive if anything was a problem. I admire the sites dedication to being eco-conscious.

The Shepards Hut was lovely, the fact it opens out onto the forest and from there you can walk to Moors Valley country Park away from the madding crowds was really peaceful and enjoyable, hosts were really accommodating and friendly

Amazing place, was so perfect for what we needed quiet and private. The lake was so beautiful, so much wildlife around. Sat in the hot tub watching the sun go down. The log cabin was out of this world.

We were warmly welcomed by Sarah upon arrival, with the lovely extra touch of some Prosecco and Florentines which went down very nicely after travelling to the stay The cabin was ideal for a couple of nights switching off from it all, very peaceful surroundings and all that you could need in the way of facilities We enjoyed a firepit on both evenings, and were lucky with clear skies which allowed some fantastic star spotting Being able to meet and feed the deer and Muntjac was a lovely extra touch!! We would definitely recommended Woodpecker Cabin!!

We had a lovely weekend at Paul and Tracy’s place! The location is ideal in a quiet neighbourhood, it’s about 10 mins drive away from the dog friendly beach and the dogs really enjoyed it. The place is spotless and cozy, and the hot tub is amazing. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Absolutely stunning location. The hut was perfect, clean and tidy with everything you could need. The surroundings were lovely, the area quiet and only a short distance to Swanage Jefferson and Kevin were helpful and responsive.

Fab little shepherds hut with everything you need for a short but comfortable stay. Everything was well organised and clean with thoughtful touches and lovely decor. Hannah didn’t meet us, but they live in the house and were around, but left us alone. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in the area. We enjoyed nice curry at the local Indian restaurant and there were a couple of nearby conveniences.

David’s place was just perfect for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable, close to shops and nice pubs. A great location to explore the Dorset coast and close to Weymouth with its lovely harbour area. Would recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at the Piilopirtti cabin! It was perfect for two people, spacious, comfortable and felt very private - a lot of thought had clearly been put into the set up/layout. The hot tub was a stand out, and Sybille was very helpful with setting this up on both nights of our stay. Sybille and Mark were very friendly and hospitable - thank you for having us!

My partner and I came to stay at this cabin for our anniversary. It was a perfect weekend get-a-away where we enjoyed the countryside. It was secluded and very quiet with the occasional call from a kingfisher. We both loved it and i’m disappointed that we didn’t have the time to look for the white stag in the woodlands near by. Both Tom and Sharon were both very accommodating and we look forward to one day coming back!

Had a great stay at Annie's place. She made sure we have everything we need. Also had complimentary breakfast which is a bonus. The place is exactly what is described. Annie even gave us recommendations for places to visit and things to do nearby. Highly recommended host.

This was the perfect getaway, the shepherds hut is set in lovely surroundings, it’s in the grounds of the house but still feels secluded and private, it’s really cosy and has everything you need. Sheena is a great host, with good communication at just the right level. We spent a lovely couple of days here and would definitely recommend it for a peaceful break. We spent new year here and would love to revisit in the summer to take advantage of the outside space and bbq.
