Douglas-Apsley : locations de vacances

This place feels really special, it’s absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had a lovely, slow paced four night stay with our family and friends. I was already daydreaming about the next time we could visit, before we had even left. Hopefully sometime soon x

Had a great stay, the house was clean, nicely styled and well equiped. It was an easy walk to town and beach.

What a lovely home in one of the best spots in Tassie! We felt very at home upon arrival and loved our stay here. The house has all the comforts of home with the shops of St Helens only a short drive away for necessities. We would gladly stay here again (and again and again)!

What a beach getaway! Just a few steps from a beautiful 9 mile (one way) beach which is very private with Mountain views. Kangaroos in the driveway at times and the birds sing. A wonderful beach house with all we needed! We took day trips to the national parks. Lovely spot. Reminder : no internet in order to truly disconnect.

This was our second stay at Clare’s place. We walked in and felt right at home. It’s such a great position, being right on the water is beautiful and it’s easy to take the kayaks out. There is plenty of room for 2 cars and the kayaks and the perfect set up for cleaning all the gear after. The outside shower is also great after trips to the beach. Inside is clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Lots of toys and games for the kids. And it’s very clean. Clare is a very responsive host.

Logement bien placé bénéficiant d’une superbe vue sur les montagnes (ce qui justifie le prix un peu excessif me semble t-il). Accès fabuleux aux randos, plages, lieu vraiment idéal pour découvrir le Freycinet National Park! Manque un peu de charme, un peu froid….pas de jeux pour les enfants, dommage car nous apprécions toujours cela! Mobilier extérieur assez « cheap » au vu du prix de la location…

The two of us felt quite happy and ar home here. It’s nice to be able to walk down to the small cove beach and then to climb over the rocks. Also easy walking distance to the Bicheno blow hole and coastal walkway. We spent two nights here and used it as our base for exploring Freycinet National Park. This beach bungalow was spotless. It has a simple retro charm yet is not lacking in modern amenities. In particular, we were happy to have the mini split for AC or heat, as needed. And the shower had instant good pressure hot water. Bed was comfortable with a variety of pillow types to choose from. Good supply of dishes and silverware so that using a dishwasher made sense. Nice supply of spices. As noted in the listing, check out is at 10 AM and the cleaning people were waiting as we drove away on time.

Stayed at Narelle's place whilst attending the Spoke festival over the wkend.. Comfortable open plan living area. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Close to shops beaches ect. Clean tidy. Fantastic to unwind with family after big days out .
