Everything was perfect, the place was big, comfortable and really pretty. Property is surrounded by trees so it was very private and the pool was fabulous. Perfect for a larger group. There were also plenty of beach towels and amenities, and great AC throughout the house!.The house is in a great spot, 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to the centre of town and was in a super safe area. I couldn't fault anything. A great stay! I would highly recommend. Thanks for having us.

Bec’s place was perfect for a family catch up. The house has plenty of space and the pool from the terrace was perfect to relax. The house was very well equipped with everything needed. Clean on arrival and comfy beds. Would definitely recommend to others and wouldn’t hesitate in rebooking with Bec if we headed back.

We had a fantastic stay at Lili's property. From the beginning Lili was extremely responsive and helpful. The house was fantastic & well equipped for a family, the beds were also very comfortable. The pool area was great & where we spent a lot of time. The garden was beautiful & the kids enjoyed spotting the tree frogs. Lili provided great recommendations of things to do & made sure we were comfortable & settled in well. We look forward to returning on another visit to Port! Thanks again for your hospitality Lili.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short 7-minute walk to a grocery store and a great selection of restaurants, and only 2 minutes from the beautiful Four Mile Beach. The on-site restaurant was a convenient bonus. The highlight for our family was definitely the saltwater pool. Designed like a lagoon with sand, it was absolutely stunning, deep, and open late, making it a great spot for both kids and adults to enjoy. The entire area felt very safe and was incredibly walkable.

Sofia could not have been any kinder and easy to communicate with (and I reached out a lot- sorry Sofia). My daughter and I were scheduled to drive from Brisbane to Port Douglas over two weeks to meet up with a study abroad group. Threatening weather and road closures (wet season) deterred us, but we went to the Beach Shack at the end of our trip anyway (after a major detour). The house was lovely and cozy and gave us time to organize before I flew back to the States. Her recommendations were spot on for local “to dos”. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and do a load of laundry or two. Thank you for a truly amazing stay. (The guitar in the living room was a nice touch!) Highly recommend.

Het huisje heeft een geweldig uitzicht op de tuin. Ligt 8 km van Port Arthur, waar een hoop gezelligheid te vinden is. Het huisje is erg compleet ingericht, comfortabel en zelfs verse eitjes in de keuken van de kipjes! Bij het wakker worden, kan je zo vanuit bed de tuin in kijken (wel het gordijn open doen😉)

John’s place was the perfect home for our family holiday. We all meet from interstate and this property was everything we could’ve hoped for. Plenty of space, with each bedroom having their own ensuite. The pool was definitely a favourite for everyone and such a beautiful space. We would definitely recommend this house for anyone’s trip to Port Douglas as it’s about a 10 min drive out of the Main Street and it is super private and a quiet area. It was a very clean house, John was very responsive and helpful when needed.

We had an amazing stay. Kerri was a great host. She was very communicative, gave great recommendations, and was very helpful. The apartment was nice and would highly recommend for small families or small groups of friends. It’s a one king bedroom and another bedroom with two twins. There is a small kitchen, small living room, and small patio outside. The washer dryer was very clean, easy to use, and was down in the carport/garage, but you need to get coins from the reception to work them. There were plenty of towels and extra things that you can use (like sunscreen, aloe, etc). Aircon worked after messaging Kerri on how to restart them, which we needed with the warmer weather. Location was a 15 min walk to the wharf/downtown, and a 8 min walk to yoga on the beach /4mile beach. Such a beautiful stay. Would definitely recommend!!
