The flat was easy to find and perfectly suited for exploring Eastbourne on foot as well as near to Beachy Head to walk to or Seven sisters cliffs for the more adventurous walkers. There is a hop on hop off bus that does a loop including both these points and more with a stopping point near the flat. Also very accessible for Brighton by train or bus and other local towns. The flat itself is comfortable, just what you need after a days exploring, with all the things you need should you want to eat in. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance if preferred. Richard was very helpful and quick to reply to any messages. We had a really good week's stay.

Fantastic visit! Great apartment! Brilliant Host! Everything was as described and my family and I had a fantastic weekend. The beach was right on our doorstep and we could not have asked for more. We will be back!

We loved the flat, so bright and spacious with lovely views of the sea. We settled in easily and quickly. There was everything we needed.

We enjoyed a short stay in flat 2, which was cosy but had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, warm and quiet. The location is ideal, with the beach just across the road, and the town centre and other amenities not far away. John made us feel really welcome on arrival.

A cosy, warm and comfortable place to stay in Margate. We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The place was spotless, exactly as described, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making the whole process smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

We had a lovely family gathering here. Loved the close proximity of the beach and had some lovely walks from the door with the dogs. We ate in and the kitchen was very well equipped for larger numbers. The two lounges worked well for us we used one as a playroom. The rooms were spacious, larger than in the photos and lovely and warm. Jo was a very good host, with clear and warm communication.

Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve had with Airbnb. We loved Sam’s house from the spacious living room and dining room that could seat several families to the gorgeous backyard and extra rooms with en suite bathrooms in the back. We will definitely be back!

What. A. Gem.! Unbelievable location. Unbelievable house! Quiet and convenient, yet right on the beachfront and in the middle of town. With very convenient private parking.

The accommodation was truly wonderful and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved the pool table, which kept them occupied while we enjoyed the roulette table. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding was hotel standard. There are some great local highlights. We had a fantastic roast dinner at the Plough Inn a couple of minutes down the road and enjoyed go karting in Lydd. The fact that the house is dog friendly was great as our dogs are part of the family, therefore the instant beach access was really helpful.

Wow! it's the easiest way to describe our whole stay. The apartment was fantastic, from the moment you stepped in, it felt like home. A place to unwind and relax. Everything is placed in such a lovely way that it feels like you put it there yourself it genuinely felt like our own home. The view from the balcony was incredible. Being able to sit there and drink a coffee looking out over the ocean was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again for another get away!! Lovley property, very warm, parking was an issue on arrival but soon sorted. Area is a bit rundown but location to the oldtown with plenty of nice pubs & restaurants is a short 5-minute stroll away. Perfect if you have a dog as the local beach is a 2-minute walk. Supermarket (Aldi) is 2-minute walk as are a few local bars & coffee shops.

We had a lovely time staying here for a few days during the Easter holidays. Perfect place for a couple to stay and make the most of Margate whilst also being slightly out of the busy town centre.

Wir haben fast eine Woche in der Unterkunft von Laurence und Christian gewohnt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Christian hat uns persönlich und besonders herzlich begrüßt. Er hat uns gute Tipps für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben und die Fahrrad-Garage gezeigt, wo wir unsere Fahrräder sicher unterstellen konnten. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön und ganz ruhig am Ortsrand, man hört morgens nur die Vögel singen. Trotzdem ist man auch schnell beim Supermarkt oder in Wimereux selbst. Auch in die Dünen und ans Meer ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Wir waren viel Radfahren an der Küste entlang, aber auch ins grüne, hügelige Hinterland. Nach den Radtouren und Wanderungen hat uns die gemütliche Wohnung empfangen, wo wir dann kochen oder lesen konnten. Schade, dass die Woche dann doch so schnell vorüber war. Aber wir können ja nochmal wiederkommen - das würden wir sehr gerne.

My partner and I had such a fabulous stay at this apartment. Having a view of the sea from the front room and a coffee in the morning was a major highlight for us. The location of the flat is also perfect for getting around Margate. The beds are comfy, flat was cosy and decorated really well. The hosts were super helpful and responsive so we had zero issues finding the flat. We will definitely be staying here again!

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour de cinq jours chez Simon. La maison est spacieuse, calme, confortable, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer, et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Il y a de nombreuses activités à faire à proximité, avec plein de recommandations dans un livret laissé à disposition au sein du logement. Simon est très sympathique et réactif. Il n’y avait pas de parking pour les visiteurs,m à proximité immédiate du logement, mais nous avons pu stationner dans une rue située à 15-20 minutes à pied.

A beautiful apartment with lovely views across the beach. The apartment was really clean and comfortable and Abbey and Joe go out of their way to make your stay as great as possible - we especially loved the welcome gifts left for us and the detailed information about the surrounding area and recommendations. We had a fantastic couple of days away and would highly recommend!

Karen was the perfect host with full details re the property sent in advance and a lovely welcoming present. The property is immaculate in all senses of the word with spacious clean rooms and a lovely balcony for those great sunsets. It is situated two minutes walk away from the beach and 20 from Birchington itself which is full of shops, bars and restaurants.
