Downtown Halifax : locations de vacances avec cheminée

We stayed at Wilfred's place while we were in town for our son's wedding. There were 7 of us that stayed there and it was plenty of room. The kitchen is very nice and very well stocked. The location is great! You can walk to downtown Dartmouth where there are shops and restaurants or you can jump on the ferry and go over to downtown Halifax. There is also a wonderful park right next door with a playground, splash pad, basketball, tennis/pickleball and walking paths. Wilfred did a great job with communication and check in was very easy. We will definitely look this home up again if we need a place to stay when we come to visit.

We absolutely loved our stay in Doris place, the house is amazing, beds comfortable, lovely duvet and pillow etc, all the amenities we needed. We hope to return next year and stay again. I'd absolutely recommend anyone to stay here in this fabulous house and neighborhood

This place was spacious, bright, private, and very cozy. Lots of towels were provided in each bedroom for us, and we really didn’t want for anything during our stay. There is a washer/dryer in this unit, so thankfully we were able to wash my son’s uniform after two games of basketball. So, his uniform was fresh and clean before his third game in the morning. Laundry soap and bounce sheets were provided in an easy to find spot next to the machines in the bathroom. Body wash, shampoos and conditioners were inside the shower for us to use as well. Papertowel and Kleenex which a must for any of air bnb stay, were provided as too! Anni really took extra care in providing the little extras that make for a wonderful stay. We loved the shelving and hooks in the bedrooms and a having a nice sized desk to sit at too that is away from the tv was nice. There are no tvs in the bedroom which we liked too. We highly recommend this spot.

A perfect spot to stay for a couple of nights in Halifax. It felt like with a 10-15 minute drive you could get almost anywhere in Halifax from here, so a perfect location. We had our dog with us and the fenced back yard was perfect. There was a cute park just a 10 minute walk away that our dog loved. Very grateful for the ease of this spot!

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. You also will feel comfortable like your home .The host is very nice, very kind and always ready to help you when you need it. Everything is perfect and you can just come here with your luggage. It is also conveniently located for quick access to the shopping areas and downtown Halifax.

Fantastic modern house, beautifully decorated. Everything that you would need including toiletries. Would highly recommend and very friendly hosts.

We enjoyed our stay! The art and beautiful wood pieces throughout the home were a highlight. We were travelling with our two teenaged girls and there was space for family time as well as some personal down time. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking down to the rocks/cove. Location was perfect for us to have a getaway but still go into the city lots.

Great place for a larger group!

Jamie’s place was wonderful. Lovely to be in, close to great restaurants and other fun things, very comfortable and clean. We loved our time there!

We stayed at Cindy’s for two nights and had a great stay. The place was easy to access, clean, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was there and I would easily stay again! The area was around everything you’d wanna do in Halifax, highly recommend.

It was a great house for 4 couples to stay and come and go as we pleased. The fourth bedroom did require going down a bit of a narrow winding staircase to the basement and with a tall family it was potentially tricky. Checking in took a bit of figuring out since the code was changed from the instructions we were given, but once in all was good.

Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

Thank you for being such lovely hosts! We immediately felt right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful place to wake up to the snow. Thoughtful amenities, lots of space, comfortable places to eat, drink, read and watch Christmas movies. We didn't want to leave. So much generosity was extended to us due to the storm, and I look forward to returning! We very much were well taken care of.

second time staying here. love the little garden oasis in the middle of the city. bed very comfy. would love to return again.

Perfect weekend with a perfect appartement. Great communication.. would have loved to try the hot tub but didn't have time and weather wasn't the best. Beautiful place with everything needed included. Will come back.. thanks

Amazing views, beautiful country

This is a wonderful place by the lake. It has a great location. There’s a large mall and many small shops nearby. There’s also a sports complex not far away. The hospitable host is always ready to help with anything. I will always stay here and highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

We had an amazing weekend at Harbour Mist. Such a beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. It's even more impressive in person as the woodwork throughout is stunning. I absolutely love the amount of reclaimed wood throughout the home. I wanted to know the story of its construction! There were 10 of us and you wouldn't even know it as there was so much space where everyone could unwind and enjoy our surroundings. Many thanks to Jesse for hosting us and for creating such a comfortable space.

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!
