We had a great stay over spring break! Our group was 5 adults & 4 children, but we never felt cramped! The neighborhood is charming and felt safe, even to this small town family. We walked into the Kensington main street area most days - for coffee (Starbucks), acai bowls & organic groceries (Stehly Farms Market), pizza, burgers (kids eat free on Tuesday!), and ice cream (you MUST try the Ube & Toffee flavor at Stella Jeans)! :) The kids loved the pool/ hot tub, although it was a shame the pool guy never checked in over our weeklong stay. With 4 children in the pool every day, the water was cloudy by the time we left. I blame myself for not letting Zeina and Mo know, as they were responsive for all my other queries. The casita was a blessing for grandma and grandpa, who needed their quiet time. The only real complaint I heard from our group was that the house smells stale (like the charming old house it is) and the laundry/pingpong area smells of mildew. Opening doors helped!

Victor was a host great! He was responsive and communicative! Great location and beautiful backyard. Everything was exactly as it is shown in the pictures. The house was clean and cozy. I would go back and stay here again in a heartbeat.

Exactly as advertised, great two bedroom. Clean and well organized. The airport and highway noise is real (we live in the mountains so cities always feel loud) but nothing that kept us up at night.

The view is spectacular and the location is perfect. The place was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Our host was super responsive and friendly. We would recommend to anyone.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The home was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The pool was a huge hit with our kids, and every detail-from the amenities to the little thoughtful touches-made our stay extra special. Location was pretty perfect for our trip. 20 minutes to just about everything we were looking to do.

The self-check-in process was very convenient, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free. The house is located high up on a hill, requiring a bit of a drive, but it was absolutely worth it. Just as described, the view was stunning, and the house itself was beautiful and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. This was absolutely the perfect place for our stay. We enjoyed walking to Shelter Island, the beautiful views from the patio, and the comfort and cleanliness of an inviting home. I would book this again!

This house was absolutely beautiful, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous views! The host was extremely flexible to work with us about arrival time, and responsive to all my messages.

Great house. It looks like the pictures. On our last morning there, we noticed a second thermostat in the upstairs hallway. Likely a dual zone AC that I wish we had realized lol. We paid for the heated pool and the water was very warm. The fridge stopped getting cold, but there are 2 more fridges in the house. The hosts also had an appliance guy come out the following day to fix the fridge. We are happy with our choice.

Simply perfect! The location is peaceful and private. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with the fire pit watching the sunrise and stargazing in the hot tub at night. The cabin was so thoughtfully appointed, from the board games to the fireplace to the well-stocked Kuerig and so much more. David was very responsive and is an outstanding host. There’s not enough room to list all the great features of this cabin. If you are reading this and thinking about booking, just do it. You won’t regret it!

Jason’s home is a perfectly preserved slice of nostalgia and charm. The design and decor were so beautiful. Everything was organized with helpful labels and details that made the stay seamless. We loved the DVD collection and it became a nightly tradition to pick one out. The accommodations for dogs are above and beyond. Our favorite memory was watching them swim in the pond. They were in heaven. Best stay in Julian! Already dreaming of our next visit. 🥰

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

Stayed at the treehouse for a couple days of our kids spring break and it as perfect! Great spot in the trees, quiet and beautiful. There is an information binder that shares all local hikes, restaurants, activities that was very helpful! We would definitely stay again.

This cottage is so cute and well designed! The view from the back is absolutely stunning! Expansive rolling hills and so many pretty Blue Jays! The place has all the essentials and worked great for our family of 5. We really enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by nature. Our hosts were great and very responsive. The home heats up nicely and the fireplaces add a cozy touch. We enjoyed hiking around Julian as well as some a nice little hike in the back of the house. The hosts also offered some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We highly recommend this adorable place!
