Tara is an excellent host. The house had everything we needed. The hot tub in backyard combined with the pristine landscape of a forest made the setting peaceful. The TV was easy to use. All of the brochures about Victoria gave us ideas on what to see and do. We considered the kitchen to be a bonus (our kitchen back home is being updated). Overall, Tara’s home is an excellent choice as an Airbnb and I would highly recommend it to anyone. 😊

Beautiful and convenient location for our Victoria trip. Lake view and private dock was a bonus. We went during Thanksgiving so we appreciated the view and hot tub. Only complaint was the very limited cooking pans and pots

Caroline's place is peaceful and beautiful - the perfect place to stay while exploring Victoria and all it has to offer. We loved sitting by the windows and watching the birds and boaters outside. Caroline was a helpful and gracious host. Wonderful place!

The beach house is a quiet little cottage close by the water with beautiful view of Sooke's harbor, including ducks and river otters! The house is well organized and there is enough space for two people to spread out for a few days. The home is cosy and there is a gas fire to sit in front of on colder days. The hottub is well maintained and keeps a good temperature, it has great views and was very welcome. The kitchen does not have a full oven but it is well provided for with pots & pans, and the toaster oven is enough to do a lasagna or baked potatoes. There are also plenty of good places to eat nearby. The shared dock & kayaks were great for getting close to the water. We really enjoyed staying here and would totally use the place again!

Where do I start, to describe how amazing our experience was! The house is at the top so you can only see a few roofs. The owners do live nearby and have a wonderful dog that visits if you are OK with him. Location is out of town, but only 30 minutes (residential driving, so speed limit is low) to town. So many natural things to see within 10 minutes or just explore around the house! Lots of games at the house to keep everyone busy if the weather is not great. The only downside, other than not being able to live there full time, would be the water pressure. It was very low and difficult to shower if any other water source was on and also washing dishes was hard. If there is availability, we will be back!

What a slice of heaven! It was even better than the pictures! We thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights here (wishing it was longer) with our 18&21 year olds. There was plenty of space for us to gather as a fam or find a chill out spot alone. Allison and Sean were great with communication and giving advice for good hiking trails too! We would love to one day return!

Absolutely stunning place to stay. The kitchen was complete with all the appropriate small appliances and utensils. Beds were amazing. The scenery alone is worth renting this place. While we were having a afternoon fire three deer walked through the property, a stones throw away. Hot tub was a great end to the day. I highly recommend staying here.

A perfectly positioned cabin on the lake with all the amenities one might desire. The hot tub was perfect for our cold wet weekend. The host were always quick to help and make our stay the best.

Beautiful, private and serene place to stay. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved the privacy of the unit as well as how quiet and it felt like a true get away for us. The highlight for us was the private hot tub and how there were so many little areas to sit in to soak up the sun or enjoy the views around the house and property. It’s around a 20 minute drive from Downtown Sooke and there is a little market to grab snacks around 5 minutes away. If you plan to eat in most nights I’d suggest planning ahead as there aren’t any real supermarkets near by. One of the top Airbnbs I’ve stayed in for the money and we would definitely return again if we came back to Sooke!
