Such a gem! Loved our stay here. It was clean, spacious, beautiful, and we felt very comfortable. Tons of space for a large group.

The house and location are exactly what you’d expect based on the photos. The house was clean, spacious and very open. The surroundings were quiet with beautiful views. Will definitely book again in the future!

Very comfortable house and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with pantry that was very handy. Beds were very comfortable and had plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Hot tub was relaxing after a long day of checking out the area. Jessica was fantastic at responding and helping with anything we needed. Would stay here again without hesitation I sure hope the lake rebounds from the drought as I bet it is actually stunning . The deer are so fun to watch and they will eat right out of your hand .

Our stay was excellent. We traveled with two families; both with teenagers for a short spring break getaway. Pool table, hot tub, and the pool itself were a hit. Huge kitchen space with everything needed to make meals. The large countertop was superb. And the outdoor grill/seating was great. Highly recommend taking the short drive to Lady Bird Lake to kayak or paddle board. The adults also took the opportunity to visit Treaty Oak Distillery and Deep Eddy; which were within 10-20 minutes away.

Renee was very responsive whenever I asked a question, she was quick to respond. The location was perfect and the view behind the home was amazing. We even saw a deer one morning! The Hot tub and the fire pit were amenities that we wanted and we weren't disappointed at all. She even supplied firewood and starter fluid. for the fire pit. We couldn't figure how to work the hot tub controls and Renee came over and turned it on and sent a message explaining everything. Inside the home was even better than we expected. We used all 3 bedrooms and the master bedroom had a king bed with a soft cushiony mattress cover. We felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen all the supplies we needed plus more. We felt right at home. There was plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus dish soap and dishwasher tablets. There's a full-size washer and dryer with detergent provided. We will definitely be returning in the future!

La casa me pareció mejor en persona, es muy bonita, el lugar es muy tranquilo y llegas al lago caminando. disfrutamos mucho El jacuzzi, jugamos juegos de mesa. La casa está muy equipada, en la cocina tienes todo para cocinar, hasta puedes hornear. cafetera, sandwichera, sartenes, platos, vasos, cucharas, suficientes. hay suficientes toallas en cada habitación. y la lavandería esta excelente . El comal river esta a 30 minutos y es un río muy bonito y divertido. tmb lo recomiendo mucho si visitas canyon lake. Tuvimos muy buena atención de Kristy. Esperamos volver !

John was a great host for my family and I and our two small dogs! The house was beautiful and had nice historic charm. We enjoyed walking to dinner and coffee and around the neighborhood. One pro tip if you are traveling with pets, the yard is not closed off so you will need to walk your dogs in the neighborhood whenever you take them out. Not a problem as it’s a very dog friendly neighborhood, just a note for any dog lovers! Thank you for your hospitality!

The backyard was just lovely, the koi pond made for a beautiful respite after long days. So beautifully decorated felt just like home.

I have never been able to stay at such a beautiful, enchanting accommodation at such a great price point! The entire property is like stepping into a dream and the villa itself is unreal. The pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and greenery are incredible! Check in and out are easy and their welcome binder makes every villa process easy to figure out. Barbara is such a kind, phenomenal host who I cannot say enough good things about! The property manager is wonderful as well. They are absolutely the heart of this place! It is so clear that this is a labor of love and I am so grateful for having the chance to have spent just over a week here. There is even a book with local recommendations for guests! I highly recommend this villa for any person or group and am already looking at return possibilities to see how soon my best friend and I are able to come back. We had the best trip of our lives!

Beautiful views, quality time with the family, a perfect reset. Just what we needed

We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

We had a really nice stay with our family over the holidays. The home is beautiful, is furnished nicely, and has a great kitchen. The backyard was really beautiful and has a nice pool and hottub. The only downside we experienced was some water heating and pressure issues - the shower running heavily affected the water pressure in other parts of the house like the kitchen sink or the other shower. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

Kathy was an amazing host!!! the house was in incredible condition when we got ther and she was super communicative the whole time! We drove down from OKC and had some car troubles when we arrived and needed to stay extra days, she was very understanding and willing to help us while we figured out our plan to get back home!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. Beautiful home located in a secluded area of the Texas Hill Country. The view is amazing anytime of the day. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean and tidy with everthing that we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and organized. Arielle was very responsive to our needs and her communication is excellent. This is a really nice getaway place and I would recommend to anyone looking for that.

We had a lovely time at this cozy cabin tucked in the hills. Overall very pleasant experience!

Incredible spot! Really enjoyed staying at the cabin, it's beautiful inside and out, and the hot tub is perfect.

We loved our stay at the Woodshed! A short drive from downtown Wimberley but away from the traffic. Really enjoyed the hot tub and even watched one of the many movies they provided. The mornings were spent with our coffee on the porch. All for a great price. Debbie was very detailed with both instructions and things to do and see! We will definitely come back!

This place is relaxing, clean and has everything needed for peace and quiet. It is even pet friendly! The pool area is beautiful and has plenty of shade for relaxing. The hosts are responsive and made sure we felt right at home. I highly recommend and would love to revisit in the future.

Very nice and cozy cabin, we really enjoyed our stay and my favorite part was the view plus the hot tub. Very close to canyon lake and about a 30/40 minute drive to Wimberley. Overall a great choice for a getaway.

We had a great couples weekend. The cabin was spacious and cozy. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet. Just what we needed to get away from kids and city life. Peace and quiet.
