We had a great 2 night stay at Tara’s Hill Cottage - the views of the Mournes are amazing, the place was spotless and cosy, bed was so comfortable and check-in was simple. This was my first time using Airbnb so wasn’t too sure what to expect but it was a great experience. Everything looked exactly like the photos 🙂 and Newcastle Main Street is only a short drive away.

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage. So cute and cozy, had everything we needed and more. It was great sitting in the hot tub on a cool evening, and the views are amazing. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A lovely warm welcoming place to stay. Mike had so many personal touches to make you feel at home. The artwork and the garden around the house was beautiful with so much to see. A short drive to great hikes in the Mourne mountains. And with the hot tub and the film projector there was plenty to do in the evenings.

We had such a lovely stay here - exactly what we hoped it would be and Conor and Sophie went above and beyond, even leaving us a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. The surroundings are beautiful and the cottage is just as described, with everything we needed to have a peaceful retreat. 🩷

Great stay in Elsie’s cottage. Very comfortable and the beds and bedding were super comfy and cosy for a great nights sleep! Easy to get a food delivery to the house so we didn’t have to head out and could enjoy the hot tub for even longer

Had the most relaxing and Peaceful stay at this wee Gem off a place Loved every thing about especially the very comfortable pillows in the cosy bed myself Husband and our Wee dog will definitely be back of course loved the Hot Tub if you Bring a dog with you their is a lovely Garden at back that is completely safe and inclosed thanks Chris and Hanna for e everything ♥️😀☺️♥️

We really enjoyed this little cottage. It provided everything we needed. Janet had provided welcome snacks and wine. She also responded quickly and kindly to any questions we had. We had sunny weather and sat out in the back garden which was well kept. Thank you Janet for being lovely host.

We had an amazing stay at Laura’s! The place was absolutely pristine when we arrived. We were welcome by a small hamper of snacks, which was a nice surprise. The rooms are spacious, very well kept and equipped. The showers are really nice. The outside areas is also stunning, with lots of space for a furry friend. The barbecue and the hot tubs definitely made our stay more enjoyable. Will definitely go back! Thank you Laura :)

Fantastic stay and decorated for Valentine’s Day. Host was lovely. Left us wine and chocolates as well will definitely be back! 100% recommended

Super place to stay, nothing was missing. Convenient for the motorway. But it is such a nice location I will look to stay longer.

Nice location for exploring Ireland, both sides of the border. Secure garden for our dogs. Adrian was friendly and helpful.

We stayed a night in the lookout and enjoyed it so much! It was so peaceful, comfy and clean! Even better that the dogs were allowed to come with us, they loved looking out of the bay window! We will definitely stay again!

what a find, absolutely stunning cottage in an excellent peaceful location with the resident donkeys lol...what a gem of a place and so so peaceful. Paula is a genuine host who cares passionately about her cottage and her guests, and is very genuine when dealing with her guests.. Highly highly recommended and we will defs be back....thank you Paula and keep up the good work x

The cottage was lovely and cosy with an open fire and amazing mountain and water views 🥰 there is a small town with everything you need within walking distance & Carlingford is less then 10mins drive away. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

Stayed for 2 nights, place was clean and tidy, beds are soooo comfortable which is always the main focus of my stays! Beautiful rural location but very close to everything, will definetly return! thankyou

I had another lovely time at Drumkeeragh Cottage. Very peaceful and perfect views. Brought the dog this time and so a perfect location to visit many dog walking locations.

Lovely stay with the family. Felt very homely and had everything catered for. Steen was super responsive and even allowed us to stay a bit longer due to the weather forecast. Thankyou for enabling a great week with the family.

Quiet wee bolthole - we particularly liked the firepit and hammocks . Not as isolated as we had imagined which worked out really well for trips out.

A wonderful retreat for a young couple’s first weekend away, the sauna, cold bath, stained glass window and projector were lovely touches that really added to the atmosphere. Kathy was kind and approachable and the place was in great condition. It is extremely well situated, very close to great hiking routes including the granite trail we did, the beach, and local restaurants (we found O’Hares a fabulous spot for dinner and great pints of Guinness). While some additional cutlery, cooking pots, scissors, tongs etc would be useful in future, with the hot water on the bath not currently working- overall this was a minor point amid a fantastic experience that served as a real highlight for our relationship to date- We would love to return for our anniversary in future. Thank you for so much for having us and we look forward to returning!

Exceeded our expectations for sure. Enjoyed every minute. Host went out of her way to meet with us. Cottage did not lack anything. Area was quite and in the middle of nature.
