I booked on Friday afternoon and arrived on Saturday, so was all very last minute, Liz kept in touch and met us there to show us around. Place is very dog friendly. Liz also checked in with us during our stay to see if all was ok. We went for lovely walks and spent time in the spa to relax in the evening, just what we all needed, will be recommending to my friends and family 10/10 many thanks 😊

very easy stay. pleased that it matched the description and was comfortable, clean, walkable to northern quarter. nearby Sainsbury's local and Costa. on quiet street. had a lovely weekend.

A beautifully presented cottage in a fabulous location. Very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need. Our dogs really enjoyed it and fantastic walks right out of the cottage onto the Pennine Bridleway and Pennine Way. Great hosts and very good communication - would love to return and highly recommended !

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.

Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.

The lodge is lovely. It’s right next to all the walks on Marsden Moor and is so very peaceful! We loved it!

We had a great stay here from 30th December till 4th Jan 2025. We were a family of 9 people and a great stay. On the first day we had no power due to a power cut in the village, it threw it down all New Years Day (my 70th birthday ) but we still had a great time. The rain and the power cut could not have spoiled our stay it made it more memorable. The bedrooms were amazing as was the kitchen. It was very handy having 2 fridges. It was nice to stay in and have a great time all being together and for the first time in about 6 months,playing daft games and drinking and eating. Not far to Castleton where there are shops etc. Lots of walks around the village too. All in all money well spent for a lovely break.

Lovely house, loved the decor and touches around the place. All the beds were really comfortable, felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The outside table gets some lovely afternoon sun, was great to sit out after our walk. Great location for getting out walking. Loved our stay.
