We had a lovely stay with our 3 dogs at heron view, we enjoyed the spacious living area and comfortable beds. The utility space was a great nook for the dogs if they were wet from walking. Lovely local pub (the Masonic) with friendly people and bar staff. The hot tub was a massive bonus! Thanks Donald We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, lovely warm home with a brilliant log burner and the hot tub was amazing on a cold day with beautiful views over the hills - we would love to return!

Lovely time with family at this great cottage. We had never been to this part of Scotland before and Penpont was a very convenient base to explore from. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for four adults - we loved the log fire and the hot tub! The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and the beds are comfortable. An excellent place to stay for small groups.

Such a magical place so peaceful and well looked after couldn’t have asked for anything better me and my partner and 2 kids really enjoyed our long weekend there will definitely be coming back

Lovely place. Accurate pictures, though when you get there it feels even nicer than photos can show. Very friendly and responsive. Sometimes it can be quite a vulnerable experience travelling as an LGBTQIA+ couple, but here we felt welcome and safe. Hope to visit again with friends and family.

We have just returned from the most wonderful long weekend stay at the Coach House, and we loved every minute of it. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful, and we were so lucky with the weather to be able to enjoy the outdoor space all day and into the evenings, watching the little lambs in the field and the wildlife come and go from the pond, and listening to the bird song, it’s was glorious. The house is lovely, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved sitting out at the campfire at night and stargazing, and having a soak in the wood fire tub. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return, it’s a very special place. Thanks so much to the Slogarie team for such a wonderful getaway, we will be back!

For what our group wanted it was perfect not a bad word to say about the place, perfect or group weekend away in the country side just what a place!

This really is a lovely cottage that’s tucked away but easily reachable by car. The finish is modern and super clean with a really lovely layout with plenty of space both inside and out with ample parking off road and a rear patio which has uninterrupted views over the farming fields. The host also sets up a log burning hot tub & sauna which really is a nice touch. ( additional cost) Andy is a really attentive host & I would recommended this cottage if your looking for a quiet location to stay.

2 Calgow Cottages is a fantastic cottage in a peaceful setting with lots of bird life in the gardens. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay, with a well equipped kitchen, lovely inside and outside seating areas, and three good sized bedrooms. Philip and Graeme were really helpful via message, giving recommendations for places to eat and generally being friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this property to others, and hope to stay again on a future visit to the area.

The Cheese House was perfect for our needs. Warm, comfortable and peaceful. Zan and Joe were friendly and thoughtful... the eggs were much appreciated. Thank you.

Nic's lovely place in Wigtown is the perfect place to explore all the bookstores in town and the beautiful scenery with amazing views. It's easy to get to and into, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Thanks for a great stay Nic!

The cottage was excellent Linda was very friendly the village doesn’t have anything in it bar a hotel and shop but it’s really good for dog walking which was what we were after. Highly recommend if you want it quiet

I had a wonderful relaxing stay at Burnbrae byre, it was peaceful, relaxing, very luxurious I loved the rolltop bath. Comfy bed, peaceful sleep. Beautiful surroundings, I was lucky to have lovely weather with clear night skies for stargazing Alison and Andrew were friendly and responsive hosts and I can’t thank them enough for a lovely break away.

I had a lovely few days at Lesley's place. It's secluded and quiet which is just what I was after. The views are beautiful and I was lucky enough to have clear skies to do some stargazing. The house itself is well set up and comfortable. Lots of great locations within a short distance and Lesley had some nice recommendations of places to go. I would advise to arrive in good daylight as the track to and through the farm is very dark.

It was great to visit the Isle of Man in January. Very quiet and Laxey a relaxing and scenic place to stay. We spent 3 nights here and it was the perfect base to visit some amazing places on the island. Check out The Shed just a short walk away for great coffee in the morning. Thank you Sandrina!

Rose cottage was amazing, Lynda thought of everything you could possibly want or need was surprised at amount of things in cottage, even had amazing games for kids, books, dvds. would highly recommend and defo will stay next time in isle of man thank you Lynda Liz

Lovely stay with the family. Felt very homely and had everything catered for. Steen was super responsive and even allowed us to stay a bit longer due to the weather forecast. Thankyou for enabling a great week with the family.

What a great property, clean and in a beautiful location. You will find there anything you need for a long stay. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Will defiantly book again.

Excellent modern cottage on the outskirts of Gatehouse of Fleet, in the hills up to Galloway forest. A great retreat for quietness and to get away from it all. The hosts are excellent, this being on a farm it was nice to see the animals. Would love to be back someday. Enjoyed having 7 days of sun sitting on that patio.

The house was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. We appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations which made it feel especially welcoming. It is in a scenic and peaceful area with some interesting places to explore nearby. The conservatory and garden would make it an ideal place to visit in the summer. We would certainly recommend this property.

Had a wonderful time at Bea's cottage. The location was idyllic and perfect for a New Years escape to nowhere with amazing starry skies when the weather was kind. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the whole place felt really cosy. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again.

We had an incredible stay at Dunskey - it is definitely worth the effort!! Our cottage was perfect. Equipped with everything we needed, decorated beautifully and comfortable. The estate itself is wonderful with beaches, lochs, waterfalls, a maze and plenty of walks so we barely left. We enjoyed a fishing lesson with Steven the head groundsman, he was knowledgeable, friendly and we throughly enjoyed it, even though we unsuccessfully at getting a catch. Port Patrick is lovely with a nice beach, pubs and a local village store. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again!!!
