For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt ziemlich kurzfristig gebucht und hatten dafür ein richtig tolles Modernes Apartment gehabt. Unsere Gastgeber reagierten auch auf unsere Anfragen und Wünsche sehr schnell. Ingesamt mit allem sehr zufrieden gewesen.

Tolles Haus an einem wunderschönen Ort. Wir habe uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Très belle maison, dans un joli cadre très vert, adapté aux familles, parfaitement équipée. Communication fluide et réactive. Seule petite surprise : quelques passages d'avions certains jours juste au-dessus de la maison.

Helpful and clear instructions from Franziska meant we found the place easily, knew where to park and how to obtain the key. The house was very clean and as described. Everything we needed for our stay including a fan, which was needed in the 31degree heat. View of lake from balcony is lovely. Wi-fi is excellent. Location: Walkable to Spar shop and the Badi where you can swim, also Arrenenberg Castle and Lago Mio restuarant which is lovely. Easy to get to Konstance for boats on the lake and great restuarants - we liked the burgers at Tonic. Daytrips- Rheinfalls, Pfander and Insel Mainau are all worth a visit, but go early in summer as very busy. Overall we loved our stay.

Wir als vier Männer durften unser jährliches Jasswochende in dieser genialen Unterkunft verbringen. Wir sind alles Glarner und wissen genau das es hier einfach am schönsten ist. Es ist etwas abgelegen aber erreicht die "Zivilisation" inert Minuten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. La zona è molto silenziosa e tranquilla. I commerci sono molto vicino (100 metri) e ci si può recare a piedi. Ritorneremo volentieri.

In der Wohnung fühlt man sich direkt wie zu Hause, der Stil ist sehr besonders und stimmig. Die Ausstattung insgesamt und vor allem in der Küche ist phänomenal! Sowas haben wir noch in keiner Wohnung erlebt. Von den tollsten Elektrogeräten über die Grundausstattung hinaus war wirklich an Alles gedacht, was man sich nur vostellen kann. Soviel Herzblut in der Dekoration steckt, so liegt Gabriele das Wohl und die Zufriedenheit ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen ❤️ danke für den tollen Aufenthalt- klare Empfehlung

Wir haben uns in der Villa, nach dem Wow-Effekt beim eintreten, sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Trotz schlechtem Wetter konnte man in den Pool und Whirlpool. Der Fitnessraum ist super ausgestattet - wir waren beschäftigt ^^ außerdem ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte, es war alles blitzblank und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön hergerichtet.

Pasamos 2 semanas en este apartamento y la estancia fue fantástica. Sara es una persona encantadora y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos desde el primer momento. Recomiendo mucho este apartamento.

We had a wonderful stay in the spacious apartment, which provided all the comfort we needed. Everything was perfect, and the hosts, Klara and Paul, were incredibly welcoming and lovely. We would love to return during the summer!

We chose this location due to it being down the road from family that live in Switzerland, and we really enjoyed using the property as a comfortable base during Christmas week 2024. The property is very quiet, clean and warm. It has easy access to road and rail networks, but you can also walk from the door into peaceful open countryside or down into the old town of Mellingen. Sue and Fritz were very helpful and friendly, and we even had a light snowfall on our first night – many thanks to Fritz for clearing the path of snow for the next morning!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach nur schön. Antonia ist äußerst freundlich und ihr gemütliches Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Unsere Hundis haben sich wie zuhause gefühlt:) wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Dieser Bungalow ist einfach ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Jedes Detail in diesem Haus zeugt von viel Liebe und Stil. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So war der Whirlpool bereits aufgeheizt und parat für uns. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist da. Weiter lädt das bequeme Sofa zu gemütlichen Abenden ein und später wartet ein sehr bequemes Bett auf einen. Fabienne ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die proaktiv kommuniziert und sehr grosszügig ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

The location of this place was great! One stop with the tram ride to reach the heart of the city, and a block away from the lake. The apartment is high end and had really nice aroma which made the space even more inviting.

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage im Schnee im Wäglital. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und man ist mit dem Auto schnell bei schönen Orten zum wandern, Skifahren und spazieren. Sandra, Marcels Frau, hat mit uns alles geklärt. Sie war super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin und eine super schöne und saubere Wohnung. Ich kann diese nur weiterempfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. De accommodatie biedt alles wat nodig is. Het huis ligt in een prachtig gebied met rondom schitterende uitzichten. Het is landelijk gelegen, met sfeervolle plaatsjes , prachtige steden een een mooi meer in de directe omgeving. De eigenaar doet er alles aan om het de gasten naar hun zin te maken.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem großzügigen und gut ausgestatteten Haus in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft in den Vororten von Zürich. Das Haus bietet viel Platz mit fünf Schlafzimmern und ist perfekt für Familien. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt – von Haushaltsgegenständen bis hin zu Spielen und sogar einem Trampolin und einem Air-Hockey-Tisch, die besonders bei den Kindern sehr beliebt waren. Stefan, der Gastgeber, war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war unkompliziert, und er hat uns bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Dieses Haus ist eine gute Wahl für alle, die eine familienfreundliche und komfortable Unterkunft in der Nähe von Zürich suchen. Wir würden es definitiv weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Our family of 4 had a great time at this unique location. It was conveniently located next to a supermarket, and a 5 minutes' stroll to the train station. Our kids (6 and 4) enjoyed it the most with the massive amount of toys and found something new to play with everyday. During our 10-night stay, they never once did ask for the iPad / TV - a major achievement! Yvonne was very kind and flexible to our needs and constantly checking in to see if we were ok. There were ample amenities, towels, linen, and basically everything that we needed for our stay. It was nice and clean and pleasant to be in. The mattresses weren't the most firm and we brought along our pillows for a better night's rest, but this was also expected for a place which is predominantly operated as a playgroup. Overall, it was a lovely stay, value for money, and most importantly, kept my very energetic and always-bored kids thoroughly entertained!

Christina was a wonderful host! 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again!
