The Airbnb was perfect! It was super secluded, which was perfect for getting away from everything. There was so much fun stuff to do - we loved hanging out by the fire pit at night and my son loved the zip line. The fishing spot was great, and my son had a wonderful time with his grandfather fishing. We also went hiking and explored the trails around the property and seeing the horses. The whole place was just so peaceful. Matthew was quick to answer our questions; communication was great! The best part was that we had everything we needed right there, so we didn't have to worry about forgetting anything. We had such a great time that we're definitely coming back. It was like the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation all in one spot.

We had a great time at this location. Our host, Margaret was extremely helpful and welcoming. The house and the property were beautiful and what we were looking for. We had plenty of space for our family to celebrate the holidays. Margaret was very responsive and kind when we had any questions. She even brought a family member's lost coat to the house when a business called her about it. She went above and beyond. I definitely recommend this property and the host.

Stayed here with family. Easy to find. Quiet. Layout worked out well. 3 bathrooms! Able to block off stairs. traveled with a senior dog with a bad knee. Kitchen had anything we needed. Relaxing after a day at Chesnut Mountain. Beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. husband enjoyed the puzzle ball game. Nicely decorated to reflect the holiday season!

My husband and I had our baby shower about 5 minutes away from Bradley’s place. We wanted a place for our guests to socialize afterwards and it was perfect. The view is beautiful, you can literally see the place from downtown Dubuque, beds were very comfortable, and the place was very clean and had everything we needed including local coffee for the morning 😁

Megan was a great host. She was very responsive and gave great recommendations. The house was clean and cozy. It was close to great restaurants and shops but still felt private. We hope to rent again.

Our family just spent spring break at the “castle” as the kids called it. We all had an amazing time. The place is plenty spacious and the top floor tower room was great for watching animals during the day and star gazing at night. Ron was very responsive and made us feel welcomed. FYI, the garbage drop off is about 10mins away. We dropped off the night before we left to save another trip the day of check out. We will definitely plan another trip to the castle in our future!

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was amazing. We absolutely loved it. It was so clean, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything you could need. It's a short drive to Main Street in Galena but well worth it for the private peaceful location. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved Kimberly and Dan’s house. We took advantage of the amenities offered. The kids and adults both had a great trip. The house was very clean and cozy.

The Overlook should not be overlooked. It is a beautiful home surrounded by gorgeous views, right by a great hiking trail and a short drive to the club/rec center for swimming, ping ping, pool, and basketball. The house has everything you need to make meals, play games, watch your favorite movie on one of the many TV’s, and of course, relax in the hot tub and sauna. My kids and I had a wonderful and relaxing spring break there!

I would recommend Jared's place as great spot to stay in Galena. The townhome was exactly as advertised, clean and quiet. The furnishing, bedding and all the rest were comfortable and stylish. The surroundings are beautiful and Jared was a wonderful host. I would definitely return next I come to Galena.

Jennie and Rob's place was great. Plenty of room for 3 couples with bedrooms and bathrooms on each level for privacy when needed. Condo had everything we needed. They also answered every question we had promptly.

Loved our lazy time at this beautiful house! Despite some crazy fog we were able to enjoy the beautiful view! Home is comfy with plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was also great! Danesa provided lots of great info! Hope we can visit again!

Everything was as pictured or listed in the description. My partner and I decided to stay here being in close proximity to Galena, and fell in the love with Elizabeth! With a generous list of recommendations provided by Neha, we were able to make our weekend even more memorable! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Galena area. I'm so happy to have had a very positive experience being that this was my first Airbnb stay!

A beautiful place with lots to do. From the fishing pond to the fun stiff in the basement to the great outdoor space, my family had a wonderful time.

Jim (Zeke) was the most friendly airbnb host I’ve ever had! His property is absolutely beautiful - super cozy tiny home with an amazing view of the pond. Zeke was super accommodating with our check in/out times and gave us a tour of the property even when we arrived late at night. Please don’t use this space as just a place to sleep - plan to spend quite a bit of time exploring the trails around the property, enjoying the fire pit, and taking a swim in the refreshing pond. We are so grateful for how welcoming Zeke was, and will definitely be back!

My husband and I along with our furry friend stayed at this cute and very clean house. It had everything we needed for a little getaway. Perfect distance to surrounding attractions including Galena.

The 1920's Spanish Revival home was just what we expected, like stepping back in time 100 years but with modern amenities and a clean, uncluttered look and beautiful aesthetic. It was a lovely mix of old and new with everything you might need for a respite away from the everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy living room, sun room and dining room and cooked up a storm in the well stocked kitchen. Ample sunlight streamed inside in the mornings, perfect to wake up to a hot cup of coffee. We appreciated the ample blankets for the cold winter weekend, many extra small appliances to satisfy our creature comforts and small snacks and treats left out for us. I highly recommend this space, as it is a short drive to all Dubuque has to offer. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

A delightful retreat. A frames have a special charm and this one definitely stands above the rest. Excellent views & easy to operate gas stove made for cozy couch and reading time. This felt like a well loved home instead of a stale guest residence run by a rental agency, which always makes the experience more personalized. Kent was very communicative and provided plenty of detail about the space and its quirks. Would return again.

Big step up from tent camping while still being remote enough to avoid vehicle noise. Hosts provided plenty of water in large jugs to make coffee etc. Do not listen to Apple Maps; Google Maps gives the best directions to find the cabin. Overall this was a great cabin in a beautiful setting and an awesome value.
