We loved our stay at Lyn and Bobby's cottage. Whilst being spacious, it was cosy and comfortable with everything that we could have needed... and more, as there was a wonderful welcome package waiting for us when we arrived. A lovely surprise! The property was very easy to find - just one road back from the main street in Kirkcudbright - and yet it was in a very quiet road. The cottage's location ensures that it's easy to walk to the centre of Kirkcudbright and to enjoy all it has to offer. There are restaurants, take aways and a 'Tesco's' supermarket within walking distance as well. We parked on the road just outside the property, which was made unloading and loading easy. Lyn was a very proactive host, contacting us before and during our stay to ensure that everything was clear and that we were happy. We have only positive recommendations to offer and look forward to our next stay!

Had another fantastic weekend at Ruthwaite Farm! Absolutely love the house and we’re already trying to plan when we can next come back! The house had everything you could need for a break away. It was so clean and tidy and everything in it was of really good quality. You can tell thought and care has been put into the design of everything in the house and it is like favourite place to come away to. Plenty of space for adults and kids to roam around. David was fantastic with lots of local recommendations of things for us to do as well and very responsive to any questions we had. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a break in the Lake District and we can’t wait to be back again!

We loved our stay at Cutler’s Lodge. The lodge was very comfortable, stylish and also practical with two young children. The surroundings are beautiful and the whole stay was excellent value for money.

Lovely cosy cottage in good location to discover lake district. Friendly pub less than 10 min walk in Greystoke village. Jontti really helpful and pleasant surprise gift of champagne and chocolate for our wedding anniversary. Also basics supplied of bread, milk, tea & coffee. Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Recommended.

What an absolute gem. Would like to keep this a secret so it’s not always booked up when I’d like to go haha!! The cottage is so comfortable and homely, surroundings peaceful with the added bonus of being on a working farm so lots to see going on. Hot tub was an added bonus to see stargazing, plenty of room in the secure garden for our dogs. The host, Briony, was the most responsive, friendly lady I’ve ever dealt with through Air B&B and made our stay. Thank you for a wonderful break away from life’s madness

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

Great place for exploring and Moffat has everything you need for a great stay . The house is fully equipped and a nice touch to have some Christmas decorations up. Would totally recommend

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

Thomas's place is as gorgeous as it looks in the photos. It is very handy for anywhere in Carlisle, and in a lovely area. It has free parking right outside which is very handy. It is very well appointed, and very tastefully done. There was so much room for the three of us. It had literally everything we needed and more. It was warm, even when the temperature dropped below zero. Would definitely recommend.

Charming garden flat with gym, sauna and steam room. Nice furnishings and artwork. Lovely warm kitchen with aga cooker. Thoughtful touches, milk bread butter, etc. Towels beautifully folded and positioned where required. Luke and Anna- Marie were perfect hosts.

Absolutely amazing apartment. Had everything we could have needed and wanted. William is a terrific host and helped with any question we had. Would 100% come back if in the area again!

What a brilliant weekend! The house was perfect for our family get together. Great that all bedrooms had their own bathroom. The views from the house were incredible and the well stocked kitchen made it easy to make a family meal together. Our weekend turned out to be more special than I imagined with a surprise proposal and I’ll have the fondest memories of this beautiful house forever. We were blown away with the beauty and character of this gorgeous home!! It’s totally unique and an amazing space to spend time with everyone. The indoor and outdoor space was wonderful, we wished it had been summer weather to enjoy the outside area! Just back from renting Beechwood House for my daughters 40th. 16 of us had an amazing time, the house is well equipped with everything you could need to have a great time! Beds and bedrooms all very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful for country walks etc and centre of Moffat less than 10 mins walk away. Nick was a fantastic host, a few minor hiccups were sorted immediately 🙌 We were sorry to leave! Thanks again Nick. June, Sara and gang

We had a brilliant stay here as a group of 11 in the lodges and main church building. We spent 3 night but easily could have stayed longer. The lodges were beautiful and peaceful and we woke up to birds singing and views of the trees outside. The church bedrooms were warm and comfortable and it was amazing sitting inside all together with the real log burner in the upstairs living room. Adam was very responsive with the only minor issue we had and the venue had everything we needed for a great time. The bar area with loads of records and sound system was particularly fun and it was really special that the freezer was stocked with ice when we arrived. Thank you so much for having us!
