We had a great weekend in Julie and Paul’s lovely cottage. It was in a perfect location, had everything we needed and was very clean. Would definitely stay here again and very happy to recommend to others.

We stayed at Ian’s Airbnb, It was spotless and came with everything we would need for our stay, everything was great however during the night it can get very warm but there is a fan and doors that open up to outside to help cool down. Swimming and other activities were included which was great, and there are slots for adult only swims and such. Would definitely visit again.

Great place! The cottage is wonderful, everything is simple, natural and very nice. It was equipped with everything you need. Great place as a base for hiking, a big city with attractions is very close. Anne is a very warm person, always ready to help. Thank you for a very nice time spent here.

Host was really helpful and kind and made sure the space was clean and tidy with stuff we would need for our weekend away all in all definitely recommend

Lesley was a welcoming, kind and friendly host. Everything was perfect in the apartment and exactly as described. It was helpful to have her living on site as she could assist us with any issues immediately; especially with bad weather warnings and giving directions and tips about the area. She was flexible with the checkout times due to the snow which helped us alot. She facilitated our pet cat very well. We are grateful to her for sharing her beautiful home so warmly and generously. We highly recommend this location as its beautiful and would come again. We give Lesley a full, 5 star thumbs up for her impeccable service. Thanks!

Had an amazing stay here for what we paid! Would definitely be back and recommend it to others. Was easy to find with good instructions from the host provided before hand. Super easy check in with such a peaceful environment to be staying in for a nice weekend away. The place was just like the pictures, very clean and super spacious which we loved. Loved the hot tub with the shelter so able to use in any weather conditions. Also went a walk through the forest and saw the sunset which was so nice. The place has everything you need in the bathroom, kitchen, smart tv etc. Overall great stay, thank you!

This was our second stay at the flat above the Aikton Arms. It’s a lovely warm, clean and spacious flat and had everything we needed. We would recommend to anyone staying in the area. We enjoyed our evening meals in the pub, great food cooked by Carol the host.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

The house was incredibly comfortable and super clean. The bedding, including the duvet and pillows, was exceptionally cozy and made our stay very warm and pleasant. The host personally greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent place to stay if you’re exploring Lake District. The house was beautiful, clean and cosy. We felt right at home. Kev & Shona provided all the basic things we needed for a getaway, and they were friendly and communicative hosts. The location was perfect too. Looking forward to visiting again!

We had a fantastic stay at Millburn Street, the house had everything you needed and more. It was thoroughly clean and well presented. Great location and Eric was really helpful throughout. Couldn’t recommend Millburn street enough. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

A great accommodation for a family get together! Spacious, clean, so much storage space and an ideal location for a walk into town. The darts board was a hit and the views from the hot tub and top windows were beautiful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank you!

Paula was a great host and the apartment was perfect for what we needed. We’re regulars in Portinscale and Keswick - would definitely return to this apartment in the future as it had everything we needed to settle in and enjoy our break. The apartment was spotless, very handy parking and a cosy place to come back to after a long day. Thank you Paula!

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

Had a lovely comfortable stay, slept well and was very cosy, beautiful bedding. Kitchen and bathroom - and throughout - were pristine. Easy to find and access, and clearly marked parking. The lit Christmas tree, and bottle of wine, were very much appreciated, as was the flexible entry time and instructions from Valerie! Just lovely - thank you for having us :)

We’ve just spent a very enjoyable week at Jon’s cottage-it was very well located, near to amenities but also easy to go for some great walks from the property without needing to get in the car. It was comfortable and well equipped. Jon was easy to contact for the odd query that we had. We definitely hope to stay again in the future.

A second visit here for us and we’ll definitely be back for a third :) Julie and Paul are the loveliest hosts and the location is just stunning. The guest suite views are amazing! The whole place is so homely and has everything you need as a perfect base to explore all of the Lakes. Thank you so much for a lovely stay again

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this apartment. Perfect location. A short walk to a choice of restaurants, pubs and shops. Beautiful views of the riverside and nice walks from the door. Spotlessly clean, cosy, comfortable and welcoming. It has been renovated to a very high standard and Julie has thought of everything! The only place we have ever stayed where there was not a thing we needed that was not thought of or provided – including a lovely welcome pack! The kitchen had plenty of tea towels, cleaning things etc as well as things like cooking oil, condiments, tin foil etc. All those little things that are pain to buy for a short break but make life easier. And also lovely to have proper selection of glassware - wine glasses, flutes, tumblers. Julie was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. Check in/out instructions were comprehensive and everything was as described. We can’t wait to book for another stay in the future.
