Best Airbnb stay we have had ! Catherine/Kevin were great at communicating all about the check in and they were super flexible. When we arrived they had a care package for us with cookies and wine and a frozen pizza and a bundle of turf The hot tub was as a great addition. 3 minute walk to the local pub with trad music and great food ! This place is a true gem - we are definitely going to come back !

What can I say about this place...absolutely stunning! Alongside the fact that Sheelagh and Alex were soon responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Even recommended a beautiful boutique restaurant for us which was beautiful 😍 10/10 would definitely recommend. The hot tub with the elements blowing around you and being able to sit on the pier just listening to the water. Will definitely be back🙌🙌

This is a beautiful home nestled in the Donegal hills. Superb location. Walking distance from the nearest little village, yet it feels like it's totally in the countryside. Mairead was totally invisible but instantly contactable if needed. Super host and beautiful home - will return at the first available opportunity.

Had a fabulous weekend at Hannah’s cottage. Laura was the perfect host, quick and efficient with responses. The place was immaculate, Laura went above and beyond with leaving a welcome package with lots of treats for our stay! The hot tub is a bonus with a spectacular view! We will definitely be back

The Cottage was beautiful, peaceful and everything as described! The host was extremely responsive and helpful in every way. I highly recommend staying here. The only thing I would suggest if you are planning a stay is to pre plan taxis, if you don’t drive or you’re planning on drinking alcohol it may be tricky to get a taxi as me and my partner discovered.

We had a lovely stay at Dolores's Cottage No. 1. We were made to feel right at home by Dolores who showed us how everything worked & gave great recommendations for places to eat/visit. She is a fabulous host - so friendly, responsive and kind. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub is an excellent addition too - it is huge and very well maintained. The playground is another big plus & was a big hit with our 2 year old. Location wise - there are multiple beaches a short drive away & it's only a few minutes drive to the local Lidl and nearby restaurants in Milford.

A fantastic few days at the cosy cottage. The house was everything we wanted it to be. Spotlessly clean, bedding fantastic, kitchen and bathroom suited our needs. And the turf fire was the star of the show! Settling down for the evening with the fire, a glass of wine and watching a movie on Netflix, what more do you need?! Location is very close to the Assaranca waterfall and the Maghera beach/caves. Highly recommended. Thanks again!

Noreen was a great host and very friendly. Any questions we had before booking she was extremely approachable and gave great recommendations when we arrived. The location is absolutely beautiful, very rural which is what Donegal is all about. The views of the mountains whilst sitting at the table outside for a coffee was the view I needed after Christmas week. Ardara centre about 10 minute drive away with a vary of different bars and food places to tickle your needs. Will definitely consider booking again in future.

The place was perfect, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. One little criticism would be a little welcome pack of yea coffee sugar and milk would be a nice touch as we arrived late and the local store was closed already

The location is beautiful, a short drive out of Bun Beag but close enough that you could walk in on a nice morning. Lovely, well presented home. The house is warm and cosy with very comfy beds. There is a beautiful, modern bathroom and there is everything you need to make a meal in the kitchen. A pleasure to stay and would return again in the future. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay and explore the Gaeltacht. Rose Marie is a very helpful and friendly host who was always quick to respond.

Lovely home in a stunning location with beach walks at the bottom of the garden. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable trip. Paivi is a great host, communicated everything well, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Rosie's cottage is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We had a really great stay here in the most beautiful part of Ireland. Perfectly secure for our two dogs and beside the most stunning beaches. You could happily chill out in the cottage all day after lighting the fires. The shower has great power in it. The kitchen is gorgeous. Didn't want to leave!

Laura’s house was warm and modern something that’s important for Christmas stays. House had everything and was well decorated for Christmas which was nice especially for my own daughter. We had the best time at Big Hill Cottage for our anniversary and nye! The cottage itself is beautiful inside and had everything we needed for a lovely couple of days! The surroundings are truly beautiful and so peaceful, which was just everything we wanted and needed for such a relaxing break away! If your looking for the Irish experience Cecil’s cottage is the perfect setting, remote but all you need within a 5 min drive…. Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with the weather but we soon forgot about that when we arrived to a roaring peat stove and a view that you could never tire off… Communication with the family was very prompt and helpful…. If we plan to be in Buncrana in the future, Cecil’s cottage is where we will be….. Thanks to all the family….👏🏻👏🏻

Tony was the most gracious, friendly and informative host. So easy to talk to and full of local recommendations and history about Ballyboe, his family and the area. His homemade bread was such a nice touch and made perfect toast with butter and orange marmalade in the morning!! The cottage was clean, quaint and such an enchanting location!! We had a wonderful stay and were thrilled we got to spend time chatting before departing Ballyboe Cottage. Thank you, Tony!!!

Cottage exactly as described, all mod cons and clean throughout. Literally across the road from the famed Leo's Tavern, and beside Teach Tessie. 15 walk to another restaurant at Teach Paidi Óig. Everything in west Donegal (beaches, national park etc) within a short drive.
