Comfortable, full of character and style. A very comfortable base in a great location - easily walkable to old Hastings and its amenities as well as Hastings and the shopping centre/train station. Great local recommendations and very clear instructions. A perfect base.

Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

Absolutely brilliant stay. The house had everything you could possibly need, so well equipped, filter coffee maker, milk frother, nespresso coffee maker, plenty of crockery, glasses and spotlessly clean. Every bedroom was beautiful with big en-suite shower rooms. Location was opposite the sea and pier, great location for long walks or cycling along the coastal path. Restaurants, fish and chips, places for coffee, supermarkets all just a wander by. The basement cinema room was great for the sports fans/film watching and rest of us in peace upstairs reading or playing board games. The bar and ice machine was also very convivial. We all had such a fantastic time as an adult family group. Thank you.

Sheila’s house feels like a home the moment you step inside. It’s roomy and bright throughout. We all loved the place including the young grandchildren who spent ages in the garden amusing themselves. The kitchen is packed with masses of everything you could think of and as we cook this was brilliant. As all the adults have stressful busy lives this break was so relaxing, just what was needed. As a birder I highly recommend Pegwell reserve for a great walk and great birdwatching. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub hier. Alles war wie beschrieben und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wirklich sehr schön, nah am Meer und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen, so dass man sich bestens erholen kann. Alles was man braucht ( Bäcker, Supermarkt…) ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung ist gemütlich und sehr geschmackvoll und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Insbesondere die Küchenausstattung ist hochwertig und sehr umfangreich, so dass es an nichts fehlt. Sehr begeistert waren wir von der netten Gastgeberin Blandine. Sie reagierte flexibel auf unsere Ankunftszeit, so dass wir nicht warten mussten, war immer erreichbar, sehr herzlich und liebenswürdig. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Très bon séjour chez Océane & Loïc. Le logement correspondait parfaitement au descriptif et donc à nos attentes. Très bonne communication avec les hôtes. À renouveler sans hésitation (et avec la météo).

We were totally awestruck when we arrived. The house. The location. The view. Fabulous. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning.

As we walked in my son said ‘wow’ and that was all of our reaction! We have stayed in a caravan on this site before but this was a lodge and it was so much bigger! Great living space, 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a veranda! 40min lovely walk along the beach/promenade into Whistable and great foodie pub just across the road (the Oyster Pearl). We had a great couple of nights here, we wished we had booked longer!

Nick is a fabulous host. Nothing is a problem for Nick. The local restaurant recommendations were spot on. The house is gorgeous, perfect for our family of four. The carefully thought out home had everything…and I mean everything you could wish for! Beds are very comfortable, space is carefully planned and utilised. Bathroom is fantastic, lots of towels! Thanks Nick, see you again we hope!

We've stayed a Ross's place a few times over the last 5 years. The location on the edge of the caravan park is lovely and peaceful with views across fields. The caravan is very comfortable, warm and has everything we need. There's lot's to do in the Camber and Rye area, there are still a few things on our list we would like to see. Lots of lovely places to eat. I thoroughly recommend this place and great value for money too! Thanks Ross!

Fantastic location, beautiful and comfy house. Perfect for a large family get-away. Games room was good fun and the garden was perfect in the sunshine. The pebble beach is just a few minutes walk away and access to the Cliff walk is easy as well.

Had such a lovely time in this gorgeous house. The garden is huge and absolutely stunning with an amazing barbecue that was in pristine condition. The house is really well equipped and excellently located. The host was amazing and had provided lovely finishing touches around the house to make us feel so welcome. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommend.

We have just come back from an amazing stay for my sisters birthday. We were so blessed with the weather which meant we were able to witness the most beautiful sunsets whilst sat on the decking. We were all very sad to leave, but am hopeful we will get to return in the future.

We stayed here for a week and it was a great location for us , the property was warm , clean and relaxing during our stay . Will definitely stay again when back in Hastings. Thank you .

Julie's place is lovely for a larger group with plenty of space and a great garden area. It's right across the road from the beach and there is a nice walk into Rye. Julie was very friendly and responsive and the property was easy to find and access. I would recommend this stay.

Amazing stay! Located right on the beach, beautiful views and only a short walk along the beach to the harbour and high street! First time in Whitstable and we cannot wait to book again for our return visit!

A very special place and ideal for our pre Xmas family get together

We had the best time staying at Ben’s place. We’ve visited Margate many times and this place just topped off a great NYE visit. The place was even better than the photos and we felt at home immediately. The art and decor was stunning, beautiful design whilst also feeling cosy. Would love to visit again in the future. Thank you so much for such a great break!

The house was lovely and just as it looked in pictures. Close to beach and enclosed garden made it perfect for dogs. We had everything we needed in the house and Hannah was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat. Would definitely stay again!
