A wonderful experience throughout, starting from the moment we booked with Tim’s welcoming introduction and offer of recommendations - almost your own concierge! Arranged to meet at the accommodation at a time to suit us, both to welcome us to York and show us around the excellent accommodation. A perfectly positioned apartment within walking distance of all that York has to offer, with the added bonus of secure parking included. Extremely well equipped accommodation looking directly over the water with sun flooding the main window throughout the day. Tim is exactly how a host should be! Thank you.

A completely exceptional stay, from start to finish! Communication from Gemma was swift, friendly and proactive. The cottage itself was nothing short of perfection; from the comfiest bed I’ve even slept in on a holiday, to the high end luxury finish of the kitchen and bathroom, to the added extra of a spotless hot tub. Everything one could possibly need for a lovely stay was thought of, as well as a very kind welcome champers! Thank you for such a special stay. I can’t recommend you highly enough!

I would highly recommend visiting The Old Potting Shed if you're heading to Yorkshire. Rachel & James thought of everything to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They realised we were visiting with three toddlers and so checked on our needs at the point of booking to ensure we had all we needed upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. It was clean, well equipped and situated in a stunning location. James popped in to introduce himself and check we had all we needed for our stay. My best friend and I LOVED our stay here. Hannah is amazing for creating and sharing this magical place. Everything was so well done and communicated. I was ready to move in! It’s an easy walk to the city center as well, with closer restaurant and coffee options too. The Airbnb is so quirky and cute. We kept finding funny, cute little details everywhere we looked. The amount of hard work and love put into the property was very clear to us and we’re so grateful to have been able to stay! Highly recommend for anyone looking for something magical ✨

We just returned from Carol's beautiful property in York. We were so delighted with our stay especially after taking a long car and ferry journey from Ireland. We would normally do a hotel stay when travelling but this time we are so glad we chose the Air B&B option as we found an absolute gem. The property had everything we could possibly need during our 4 night stay. A beautifully decorated house from top to bottom. Such a cozy and homely vibe that will certainly encourage us to return again. All of Carol's instructions and details were spot on and completely accurate. From the time we arrived to our departure everything was perfect. Thank you once again Carol. Chris and his family are absolutely fabulous hosts and the barn is just as pictured and more ! We absolutely loved our stay here and Chris couldn’t have been more welcoming and responsive. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and hopefully stay here again sometime soon ! ❤️

Lovely place to stay and would recommend to all . Anne was fantastic and was very helpful when asking for recommendations. The cottage was perfect ❤️ , and the games room was awesome, we will definitely return again .

Enjoyed our stay. Quite peaceful, private and beautiful surroundings. Cottage was nice, warm and comfortable. The hosts had also provided a bottle of milk and a pack of chocolate cookies. A nice gesture.
