Flew in from Toronto, Canada to this beautiful home away from home. Barbara, Graeme (and Rosie) were extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. The cottage has everything you need. Lovely, comfortable linens and beds, clean and modern bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and great and private hot tub. The location is very rural, but easy to find with google maps. The town of Kilburnie is close by with a grocery store, gas station and pharmacy among other amenities.

What a great little cottage. Perfect for a couple of nights to get away from it all. The location by the river was stunning. We enjoyed watching all the nature from the hot tub. Lovely touch with the bottle of Prosecco waiting for us on arrival.

We had an amazing stay. The cottage was beautiful and the surrounding views were breathtaking. Marcin was an attentive host and we would definitely recommend this place!

Lovely house set in a fantastic location with amazing views. The house was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Hot tub and sauna was a welcomed bonus after long walks. Hosts were very responsive.

Lovely and peaceful, with super loch views and a relaxed vibe. Nicely curated and perfect for our elderly golden retriever as everything was, bar a few steps here and there, on one level. The covered deck is ideal whatever the weather. Would recommend.

Fab place to stay in Loch Long. The scenery is beautiful and there’s plenty to keep you busy. The cottage was lovely and highly recommend

Rachel’s Farm ‘The Cottage’ was exactly as advertised. Perfect for the wife and I to have a last minute romantic weekend away. Booking was so easy, the property was very homely and welcoming and we immediately felt the worries of the world disappearing as we relaxed into the hot-tub listening to the wildlife. Also after a day of exploring the area to be able to slip into that awesome rolltop bath. I’m one of the larger built gentleman, and to have a bath that I can lay in and fit was sublime. You almost had to charge me for the cost of that bath as I was tempted to bring it home with me. 👍and then to climb into that bed. I haven’t slept that well for months..! Honestly, if you are considering staying here, I would 100% recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Highly recommended. Fantastic accommodation. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful surroundings and perfect weather made our stay so enjoyable. Our dog loved it too. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Sue’s place! It was all clean and felt like a home away from home - perfect for us and our two Goldens. Sue is so lovely - we had a few issues with our ferry and she help us out so much, so in the end it all worked out! Thank you again!

Super cottage, perfect for enabling a wonderful stay on Arran. Easy access to both the mainland and all that Arran affords. The cottage was full of character and charm and was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. It had everything we could possibly need, was extremely clean and well equipped.

Have just spent a few days at Ashburn cottage & it was lovely. The cottage was very comfortable with everything you could need & had fabulous views of the loch & mountains. The weather was cold, crisp & sunny so was stunning, we did have a wee flurry of snow. Loved the log burner, so cosy!! Had a lovely meal at the Goil Inn & The Boat Shed cafe a definite for a visit! Will hope to be back again soon 👍

We felt very much at home in this cosy, lovingly decorated cottage. Every practical need was taken care of, the heating system worked perfectly. We liked our meals at the big kitchen table and the quaint staircase leading up to the bedroom and bathroom. Personally, I found it hard to sleep because the mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable

Fabulous location looking out towards Isle of Arran and beyond. Easy access to coast and ports for taking ferry rides to Cumbrae and Bute. Friendly host. Very quiet at night. Cottage well laid out and spacious and enclosed garden for the dogs. Everyone happy!

We have just returned from an amazing 2 night stay at this beautiful seaside property. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere. We were greeted by John and Dora upon arrival, who were fantastic hosts! ensuring we had everything we needed and gave us a run down on the local surroundings. The home was well equipped, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with our dog. Waking up and having a coffee overlooking the incredible sea views was amazing and will be sorely missed. We had fantastic weather on side during our stay, which was a massive bonus! The location is perfect with just a short walk to the local shops, restaurant, beach, and walks. John and Dora are super friendly, responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. Highly, highly recommended!

We absolutely loved the cottage, the surrounding scenery was breathtaking, everything you could think of was provided. Really easy to follow instructions to light the wood burner, lots of info on local facilities and so pleased to find somewhere so lovely and private to bring our dog on holiday with us. This stay was just what we needed! Peaceful, beautiful views and a cosy cottage with a log burner that had pretty much everything we needed. Overall our stay was fantastic. Loved being lochside (the bench outside is perfect), exploring the area and having lots of lovely animals to view either in the loch or right next to the door. We were lucky enough to see any species of birds, seals, otters and even red squirrels!

Fabulous & comfortable house with the best enclosed garden for our dogs, loads of birds & wildlife. Saw many red squirrels & even a pine Martin! The surprise is the wee sitoutery at the bottom of the garden with the wood burning stove. There are great walks all around with stunning views. We’ve arranged to go back again, Peace perfect peace. Beautiful cottage which has been really thoughtfully designed. For a family of four it was perfect and the scenery is beyond breathtaking.

What an amazing cottage and location! Fiona was an exceptional host with outstanding responsiveness to a very late booking on our end with an early check in provided. The cottage has everything you could need and there is so much to do in walking distance and so much more with a wee drive away. We will return very soon as six days wasn’t enough! This is an outstanding option if your heading this way with a fantastic host.

We stayed at Shurig cottage as family of 4 (kids 4 and 2 years) and grandad! The hosts were really helpful with pre trip and during the trip especially with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. The accommodation was spotless and had all amenities needed. We loved the modern cosy cottage feel! The outdoor space was great too! Highlights of the trip included blackwaterfoot beach which was a great sandy beach for the kids and we even had the kayak out too, Mara fish restaurant in Corrie, seals seen on the west coast, hiking to Machrie Moor standing stones and Kings cave! Both Brodrick castle and the Thyme cafe had great outdoor play areas for the kids (we loved the Pide there too)! We also loved Arran butchers and the bakehouse in Blackwaterfoot! Hamilton cottages is a perfect base for these activities and we will hopefully be back soon! Thank you!

We had a weekend of wellness here and it was amazing . All our guests from all over the UK commented on how amazing the place was . The views are absolutely amazing and the whole house is so cozy , the kitchen is huge and we used it for all meals to eat in as well. I would thoroughly recommend staying here , there are local shops nearby and most places are 10-20 mins away depending on what activities you would like to do . Overall an amazing wee place to stay , we will see you again. From all the guys from the SWS Group

Anne's cottage is like stepping into a fairytale world, not only thanks to the location but also for the friendly hospitality. Anne's attention to details on welcoming the guests is above and beyond, the welcome treat basket was very much appreciated as well as her suggestions on historical places to visit nearby. Beds are very comfy, very spacious living and dining area, spotless clean. On our next road trip to Scotland we'll definitely go back. Can't recommend enough. Thank you Anne, it has been lovely meeting you.

We had a great time in this beautiful, cosy cottage in the woods. Very well equipped and we loved the wood burning stove and all the artwork. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from Kilfinan forest trails. We will definitely be coming back
