I had a wonderful stay at this place for two nights in the end of my holiday trip. It was the perfect ending. Very comfortable room, clean, quiet, good location and friendly hosts. If I go back to Durban I would love to stay there again!

Great price and an amazing location. Walking distance to all Florida Road restaurants and a really cute Italian cafe across the street. Rooms are cute and they have a pool and spa if you have extra time.

Absolutely amazing host. Great staff! I literally forgot some valuables in my room and they stopped at nothing to find me, they kept it safe until I could come back to collect. I’m more than impressed with the service and it will definitely be my place of choice when in the area. Psssssst… The bed was amazingly comfortable!

Hillside Guesthouse, location, location, location.

A beautiful, well kept accommodation. Perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to Umhlanga town. Stunning sea views. Ample parking. Thoughtful personal touches. We especially enjoyed the in-room aircon and close proximity to the famous Umhlanga promenade. We definitely plan to be back!

Perfect for it's price - in fact, it is worth more than what Joss lists it for. We won't even look at other AirBnB's when we come back this side - we will hope to book this very unit! Besides everything I rated this place for already (super neat; great communication from Joss; matches description and photos; etc) we loved the high ceiling of the room, and how very spacious it is. The en-suite bathroom is immaculate - exactly like the photos. The unit is in a pristine location - right on Bridle Road, which is on and goes through the 'Krantzkloof' part of Kloof: a deep gorge with waterfalls, that is very forest-y / jungle-y . Whilst not near the top of the gorge, you still have a great view from the garden area of the unit. It is a very peaceful stay. Thank you Joss for a great stay.

We had such an amazing stay, Nosipho is the best host ever she was quick to assist and respond. Check in was so smooth, apartment was beautiful with sea view and clean and beautiful it was amazing, the receptionists, cleaners, shuttle drivers were so friendly and lovely so helpful at all times. The views were breath taking, lots to do to entertain ourselves. 10 Stars 🌟

We had an awesome time indeed. Just a slight problem getting through security upon checking in, but all was perfect afterwards. Service and views were splendid. Definitely going to tell others about it.

Prime Hotel, Excellent Service

The place was exactly how it described. It closer to Florida Road (it a walkable distance). Price is inclusive of English Breakfast 😍. Service was great. It safe, has a great view to the pool. As per the reviews TV does not work. It worth the price.

The place was amazing. The host along with her team were very friendly and helpful. They helped us a lot. Mam Busi checked up on us every chance she got. I would definitely go back again. It was beautiful and cozy, also a very peaceful place if you love peace. Close to the main road. Was easy to find….
