Great place to stay for a hen do with an excellent location and amenities

We absolutely loved Mandy’s place in Great Ayton. Perfect for kids and she did it right up for Christmas! We felt right at home being away from home for the holidays. We had plenty of space for our family of 4 (could definitely fit more!) and the outside space was perfect. Walking distance to shops and food, and amazing location for outdoor walks in the woods and to see sheep. ☺️ Mandy was also so welcoming and heartwarming and lovely to communicate with and had essentials ready for us at arrival. So grateful!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

Lovely place, one of those where you wish you had more time to spend their and enjoy the house…especially the bathroom! And the supplies for a quick breakfast and bottled water were greatly appreciated! Top notch

I booked as a treat for my mum and myself as a Mother’s Day surprise! The process of booking, the venue and hosting couldn’t have been any better - just brilliant! Stunning rooms and decor, gorgeous location, the views and walk around the area were a dream. Zoe was so welcoming and we really felt we could relax and enjoy. Highly recommend! Always nice to stay here. With family in the area, an ideal quiet place. Not far from the town and beach - all walkable.

If you are looking for a good standard of comfortable and cosy no frills accommodation in a location with plenty of cafés and restaurants and good transport to and from the city, I would definitely recommend Christopher’s place.

Perfect place to stay for Kyren. Easy walk to the site and even easier to get the market place shuttle. A little noisy in the evening but given that it's right in the centre not bad. Easy check in and good instruction on how to find the place.

Clean and tidy, peaceful and quiet despite proximity to train station which is a bonus if using the train to commute.

Rosie and Paul are delightful and very welcoming people. We had a nice tea and talk on arrival. Room is spacious. Breakfast is superb. The Coast to Coast cylce route - which I was following - is conveniently next to their place. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Gorgeous house and a lovely couple! Tania’s place was beautifully decorated, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. Communication was great throughout, and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay, I was given the room I asked for. The room and en suite were both very spacious and comfortable. A nice firm bed. Wifi worked. Good water pressure in the shower; I would have preferred the temperature to be a little hotter, but it was still warm enough. Great view north over Swaledale from the room. Really nice breakfast. Simon was a great host, very engaging and helpful.

Moira kept in touch from the moment we booked with handy directions and was flexible with our arrival time. We had a lovely stay, like home from home, which is just what we needed with the dog as she gets very anxious otherwise.

The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable. The bedroom itself is small, but very well set up to be as convenient as possible (extensions leads to be able to charge phones by the bed, plenty of hooks on the wall) and we were offered the choice to leave luggage in another room if needed (we didn’t have much so didn’t need to). Christine and David were very welcoming and helpful, they welcomed us into their home and offered advice for somewhere to eat but we didn’t feel that they “smothered” us too much. Nice continental breakfast in the morning.
