We spoke to Janice a few times whilst we were at the cottage. Janice was lovely, extra friendly and very accommodating. We’ve visited previously and will be back very soon.

I took my two daughters and 4 grandchildren for a long weekend and we loved it. Fabulous location, amazing house, great facilities and amenities. Extremely relaxing and a great host.

Excellent location within walking distance of the beach, good restaurants and amenities. The accommodation was clean (bearing in mind it's dog friendly) and looked newly decorated. The only downside was the heating, as it was very cold and the settings meant it took a long time to get warm. It could have been because it hadn't been occupied for a while and it was February, but found I was unable to leave my dog downstairs, on a tiled floor all night without any heating on. A setting of 12 degrees would have been enough.

Great location for me as was close to where I had a work event. Easy to find and in a quiet residential location. Lovely walking along side the river! Property had everything I needed. Thanks!

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights at this beautiful and cozy home. It was so well organised and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We loved the charming decor and all the thoughtful details. Anthony was a wonderful host- approachable, kind, and very helpful. His clear instructions made everything smooth and stress free. The nearby forest walks were really nice, and the stream running through the woods made it so refreshing. The local people were friendly and helpful. The house itself was such a delight that we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. We enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay in this cosy upstairs flat with beautiful views over Wensleydale valley. Spotlessly clean and tidy throughout. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Penny is a fabulous host, who made us feel very welcome.

Great stay. Perfect location for us, we parked up and walked or got the Metro everywhere. Lisa has thought of everything and we really loved how homely the place is. Very helpful and friendly communication. Would definitely recommend.

The Old Stables was warm and welcoming on arrival. The location and accommodation were perfect for our visit. We were able to relax after our long journey and the beds were super comfortable. It was very quiet, clean and well appointed. The area had beautiful walks on the doorstep, and the village was well served by eating places. Excellent fish and chips at the Black Bull! It looks a nice place to live. We would certainly recommend and not hesitate to book again.

Marie and Peter were wonderful hosts—responsive, incredibly friendly, and very helpful. The location was absolutely perfect for my needs, making my stay really convenient. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would happily stay again when visiting my daughter.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

Amazing stay, felt at home and Tom couldn’t be anymore helpful. Would recommend him to anyone. We got egg from his chickens that he gave us, wood provided the first time of use and the hot was a bonus and heated up within 2 hours with the fire. Overall loved our stay and defiantly will be back to stay with TOM. Thanks again. The place was clean and easy findable with what3words.

This is a lovely place. I think it's the cleanest Airbnb I've ever stayed in- absolutely spotless. Everything you need is provided, and the apartment is very comfortabl and well maintained. The gardens outside are beautiful, it's private and safe, and parking is easy. It's close to shops to grab anything you need. Neil and Jane sent clear instructions and it was easy to find without any hassle. Nice to arrive to milk and jam in the fridge for breakfast. I wish I had stayed longer!

Exactly as described, great location close to all amenities. Could have sat and looked at the view for days. Abi was a great host providing clear instructions, everything was ready for us and the bottle of fizz and chocolates was very welcome.

Had a lovely weekend at Caroline's place. Apartment couldn't have been in a better position right next to Ocean Rd and a short stroll to 2 parks, the beach and the pleasure beach and in the opposite direction not far from the shopping centre and metro station which you can easily travel around the area from. Caroline was a great host and was always quick to respond to messages i sent her and even let us check in early and leave late which was a really nice gesture. The apartment was warm, large and very cosy and clean and had everything we could need for a comfortable stay. All in all a lovely place to stay!

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Nice area and very quiet, garden and hot tub were very private. Has everything and more that we needed. Paid for decorations for birthday party and it was above expectations. Left a little treat for the dog too which was lovely. Would 100% recommend, and would go again.

The apartment is on a quiet street, just a couple of minutes walk away from the seafront and situated between Cullercoats and Tynemouth village which are both within easy walking distance. Lisa and Gavin were excellent hosts, providing lots of clear information and tips, and always very responsive. Check-in was easy. The flat looks just like the pictures and is well-equipped. We had a lovely weekend in Tynemouth, would definitely recommend!

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!

This was our second stay at this lovely apartment. The weather was beautiful and so looking out at the view of the sea front was perfect. The flat has everything you need including all the cooking facilities you would want and the welcome hamper was a nice touch. The lounge is spacious and nicely decorated. We hope to return again next year. Many thanks!

Brian's apartment is a great base for exploring Newcastle in a couple of days. The apartment was a really comfortable warm place, spacious and well appointed. Would definitely recommend.
