Freshly remodeled house with tons of space! Clean rooms, bed, and bathrooms! Enough parking space for two trucks one with a 2 place enclosed and one with a 3 place enclosed. Kitchen was huge and open! Upstairs bedrooms with more than enough space and a big open bathroom! Can’t wait to come back again, walking distance to a few restaurants for dinner after a long day on the trails 10 out of 10!

We love this little place. Just like our cabin in the woods. Close enough but not downtown. Clean but just comfortably rustic. Enjoyed our stay for the 4th year in a row. It bring us back to a more simple time!

Our group of 10 guys had ample room for our snowmobile trip. Lots of parking, trail access directly across the street, and a very clean place. Absolutely perfect! Thank you for letting us enjoy your place.

This place is very warm and cozy, and in peaceful surroundings - great view of the lake. Well stocked with plenty of amenities. Wonderful hot water and the beds were comfy. Sherry was incredibly helpful and responsive and worked to get me some local suggestions. Their local history and familial connections was a bonus. We were there in height of winter (Feb.) would be curious to see it in summer as well.

Great view and great space. The games in the basement were a nice bonus.

I loved her cozy Airbnb! Felt like I was home 🏡 but a lot colder and way more snow 😊. Very very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals which is not always the case. PLENTY of sleeping room. It was just my daughter and I but wanted to check it out for the summer time and I will try to rent it again for then. Cheryl was super sweet and kind. We had an issue but she was very quick to respond and fix the situation. GREAT host! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Lovely space full of thoughtful touches. I was spending most of my time in Thunder Bay at the Tournament Centre, so the location was great. I'd absolutely stay again!

Alexa’s house was wonderful. The location was perfect. We were snowboarding at Mount Bohemia and loved having an easy 30 min drive to the mountain while being within minutes of restaurants and a grocery and hardware store (which was needed for a boot repair job). I have stayed in a handful of houses in the area and this was by far the most spacious and had plenty of comfortable seating for the 3 of us. Heat was great and I appreciated the fact I didn’t hear a single squeaky floor board. Initially I was slightly concerned that there wasn’t a dryer for wet gear, but the house has plenty of space to hang and store gear and Alexa provided a fan that did the job perfectly! Overall the house was great and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We will be back.

Spent a whole week at Dave’s Airbnb during my work trip. It was comfortable and cozy. Floors were nice and warm at night. Great location and had everything needed during the stay. Would definitely recommend and Dave always took the time to send a message to make sure everything was good. He also accepted my request super last minute and was very accommodating from beginning to end! Hoping to stay again.

The level of cozyness at Suzy’s place falls short of words. We were treated like family and felt right at home the moment we arrived. We walked into a bottle of wine and lots of goodies. The space was cozy. Clean. Spacious. Quiet. We stayed for about a month and half and I wish we booked sooner! Maxie and Nexus (the dogs) were also great hosts. Loved being greeted by them. Super well trained and friendly. The best. Our dog, Rambo also loved it. He especially enjoyed the fireplace. I’d 100000% recommend Suzy’s place. Honestly one of the best people I met. We had paint night and it’s the best souvenir from TBay! Lotsa fun. We’ll forever keep in touch. Super kind, sweet, giving and warm. Always baking yummy goods and leaving them as surprise treats. Even made us dinner one night. She also super accommodating. If you’re in Thunder Bay, I’d say you’d regret not booking this place. Best experience. Thank you for everything. We hope to see you all soon.

We had a great time at the rental. The hosts were more than accommodating for our family and the rental had everything we needed for our baby, high chair and toys galore! It made the trip easy and fun for everyone.

Although this was a very short visit, because our hosts were so responsive and provided valuable information about sightseeing in the area, we were able to maximize our time to devote to the areas we most valued to explore. Tom went out of his way to provide kindling for the fire when we arrived, so that was a totally special feature of this cabin. The back yard was very dark so we could see the Northern Lights the last night of our stay.

That was my first cabin experience and I want to keep going there. I don´t think I can find any other host who will be better that Alex. He treats you well and is always available with answers. I totally recommend staying on this cabin, its totally worth what you paid for it. I will definetly go back again soon. Thank you Alex for letting me stay there and enjoy the best view I can ask for.

It was lovely! Very comfy (once we got the heater running) and clean. The cabin is simple but very well built. I appreciated that the kitchenette had gas burners. Kyle was very informative and responsive. I would happily stay again!

Kelly’s place was perfect for a winter visit! It’s about 20 minutes from Mt Bohemia and right across the street from Eagle Harbor Inn, where we enjoyed a meal. The house is spacious and bright, but also cozy. There are great xc ski trails about a mile down the road. The house is very well built, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Kelly was quick to respond when I had a question. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Great location with easy access to beautiful Houghton and its scrappy little cousin Hancock, MI; This was a great weekend getaway. Go up and check out FJ McClain Park for expansive views of Lake Superior then head back to Downtown Houghton’s Social District to imbibe and mingle with fellow revelers. After a long day spent taking in the great Northwoods of Michigans UP, this secluded cabin provides a great respite to unwind and relax after a long day. The full kitchen has every amenity to cook up a big family breakfast or dinner and enough extra blankets and cushions for the everyone to snuggle in with at the end of long day exploring the area. 10/10 recommend! PS: For those of the 🌲🌲🌲persuasion, the cabin is just up the road from an excellent dispensary featuring great local MI product. Just saying.

Wanted to check out this tiny home on my work trip and it was perfect for what I needed.

We had a great stay. Our host Travis was very helpful and always responsive. The cabin was clean and comfy!

We enjoyed our stay. The view from the cabin was so beautiful. It was so cozy for visiting, playing cards, and sleeping. We spent the day at Mount Bohemia skiing, snowboarding, and taking a sauna. Hoping to book another trip north again.
