The house was clean, and in a covenant location. The views were beautiful. The house comfortably slept our 8 guests. Perfect winter get away.

The Miner is all new, stylish, and very clean. We had an enjoyable and comfy stay and Frederick was very accomodating.

This was my second time staying here, and it was very convenient when all the hotels get booked up around career fair. This was cheaper than staying in separate hotel rooms but had plenty of space for me and my party. I would recommend to anyone that wants to be in walking distance of downtown. Great place!

It was a wonderful place to visit. The house felt very welcoming, and everything you could think of that you'd need was available to you. 10/10 would recommend this to others. The level of cozyness at Suzy’s place falls short of words. We were treated like family and felt right at home the moment we arrived. We walked into a bottle of wine and lots of goodies. The space was cozy. Clean. Spacious. Quiet. We stayed for about a month and half and I wish we booked sooner! Maxie and Nexus (the dogs) were also great hosts. Loved being greeted by them. Super well trained and friendly. The best. Our dog, Rambo also loved it. He especially enjoyed the fireplace. I’d 100000% recommend Suzy’s place. Honestly one of the best people I met. We had paint night and it’s the best souvenir from TBay! Lotsa fun. We’ll forever keep in touch. Super kind, sweet, giving and warm. Always baking yummy goods and leaving them as surprise treats. Even made us dinner one night. She also super accommodating. If you’re in Thunder Bay, I’d say you’d regret not booking this place. Best experience. Thank you for everything. We stayed at Kelly’s for our annual ladies weekend. It was the perfect spot and exceeded our expectations. The views were incredible, the house was clean and spacious , with every extra amenity that you could think of. Kelly thought of everything and her place definitely felt like home. It was relaxing, peaceful and private. I would highly recommend. Our weekend was kid free but this house would definitely be a great place for a family getaway with children.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was clean and the kitchen was fantastic. Shelley was proactive in communicating what to expect. The hot tub was lovely, and the perfect way to relax after hiking around the local Provincial Parks. This was perfect for exploring the Thunder Bay area!

If you love snowmobiling and are always on the lookout for fresh trails, let me put Hovland, MN, on your radar. I recently spent a weekend there with a few friends, and it was hands down one of the best riding trips I’ve had. Our Airbnb turned out to be the perfect home base, and the snowmobiling in the area? Absolutely top-notch. One thing to note—you’ll need to trailer into either Grand Marais or Grand Portage to hit the trails. While that might sound like an extra step, it’s actually a huge advantage. Both spots serve as prime trailheads, giving you direct access to an extensive network of well-groomed trails. Plus, they offer gas, restaurants, and plenty of parking, making it super convenient. And since Hovland is equidistant from both, it's less than a 20-minute drive in either direction, so you can switch things up depending on the day. Awesome little house. Great time snowmobiling. Close to the trails and great accommodations! Loved the in-floor radiant heat! Always felt warm in the house!
