great place and I loved being able to bring our dogs. they loved the gated yard to run around in while we chilled in the hot tub. we'd love to visit sometime in the summer to check out more of the lake activities.

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

We were impressed by the cleanliness and open feeling of the place. It was a little smaller than we expected and had very limited seating but fit our group of 3 ok. I can’t imagine it being comfortable for a larger group though unless you’re only using the place to sleep! Overall it was a pleasant experience, beds were comfortable, kitchen well-appointed and the hot tub was nice, but we did feel that the price, once the cleaning fee was added on, was a little steep.

Every year we visit Cypress there are more improves and amenities. Always a great stay and so much to do. Amanda and her team run this place like a well oiled machine. We visit once in the winter and once or twice in the summer. A favorite for sure.

Very homey and private. Very helpful and generous hostess! The idea of sharing a hot tub with potentially other people is a bit off putting. Went is the winter months, it was still a BLAST!

The place was great! Once we arrived the jacuzzi was ready for us, we had an issue with leaking dishwasher but David was quick to respond and help us! Great location, highly recommend!

The place was beautiful. The house is a bit old but we didn’t mind it, it made it feel homey in a way. My friends and I loved the hot tub, would love to come back again.

The Butterfly Cottage is such a special place! It worked out perfect for us and our dog. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Travel back and forth to Burlington was quick and easy to navigate. We hope to return in the summer and get out on the water!

Clean and cozy accommodations. For us, the location is near-perfect -- close to family and easy access to main roads and the train line. We weren't able to take advantage of the outdoor amenities since it was wintertime, but I'm speculating a summer visit would elevate the property's fun factor.

This was a great little off season getaway. The cabin was priced right and since most attractions were not yet open we just enjoyed hanging out and relaxing. Shout out to Steve across the street at Power Boat Rental, he got us out on the lake even though it was way early in the season.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Tara’s cottage! The cottage is so cute and clean and we felt right at home. Tara checked on us and gave us some great recommendations on where to eat and where we could pick up some groceries. We were able to bring our fur babies which was a huge plus. The neighborhood is very nice and I felt very safe walking the dogs by myself. I hope we are able to come back sometime! I would definitely stay here again!

Angela’s place was very clean and cozy. The Lake view is beautiful. Angela was a great host and was very responsive when I had questions. Highly recommended.

Perfect start for the area, great pricing and convenient. We stayed here while we attended Garycon and it was perfect as it was only a 20 min drive away

Brought a group of kids up to lake Delavan to ice fish. Great house just a short walk from the lake and a 2 min drive to get to the parking lot where you can walk onto the ice. Fenced in back yard with firepit was a big plus for our winter stay. Host was very responsive to messages sent through the App. Would definitely stay again.

Gabrielle's place is such cozy nice place to stay. We went as a family to celebrate graduation and birthdays. We fell right at home since we stepped in . The house is in a great location, very near to downtown and supermarkets. Gabrielle is a great host and communication went really well. we'll definitely stay there again.

Katie's place checked all the boxes for our family. The house looked exactly as the pictures, it was decorated for the holiday season-big plus for us. It had plenty of sleeping room (bunk bed with trundle mattress, queen bed, convertible sofa and love seat). plenty of blankets/throws, pillows, towels. indoor fire place was great. kitchen had just about everything you can think of. view of the lake was truly breathtaking. katie was a great host-attentive, easy to communicate with. we can't wait to return in the summer.

Perfectly magical historical comfort! One of the most beautiful and most charmingly decorated historical homes we’ve ever been hosted in! We love older homes and discovering all their quirks. This little cottage did not disappoint. The hosts are across the street and were friendly and kind. The house was comfortable with clear instructions and well stocked with all the things you need, especially in the kitchen. We can’t wait to come back and see the gardens in warmer weather but this is a cozy place to stay any time of the year. We were in the area to attend graduation at Great Lakes. We had 4 adults and the cottage was perfect for this with comfortable beds, great resources and lot of restaurants nearby and adorable shops. It was an easy walk down to the lake via dog park. Leave time to wander around this charming and friendly neighborhood. Love it!

My wife and I have been active on Airbnb for several years and we've experienced quite a few wonderful rentals; however, Susan's place stands out for several reasons. Her rental was exquisitely clean, very comfortable, and filled with little touches that made it feel like home. One not so little "touch" was the brand new massage chair in the living room - what a wonderful surprise! We loved luxuriating in that chair after our visits to the Bristol Ren Faire.

Madeline was a great host and very responsive with communication. The home is older but clean, cozy and comfortable. Only downfall is a single bathroom for 8 people but we made it work. Would like to visit again in the summer time to take advantage of everything within walking distance. Definitely recommend and would like to stay here again.

The home was so beautifully appointed, we felt like we were in a home full of love and warmth. And the location was incredible, close to downtown Barrington but still surrounded by nature and served as an oasis from the fast place of life. I would highly recommend this home and the wonderful hosts! They thought of every detail and made us feel so welcome and cared for.

This cottage is a hidden gem. Right across from Lake Nagawicka, the cottage allows for a peaceful weekend on the lake. We will definitely consider this cottage when coming back to the area!
