Very cozy little cabin space. Everything was very up to date and they have everything you could need. The only downside was the shower does not get very warm but I was not that big of a deal at all. Otherwise I highly recommend.

This lake home was fantastic! We were able to have an early check in and got to enjoy more time at the lake. The house was incredible and so inviting, has everything and more you would need. The views, lake access, space were amazing. Kayaking was by far a favorite of the group. All you had do was show up and be ready for fun! Our group and our kids loved this trip and their smiles were everything. We are already talking about booking this again next year! Lisa was fantastic to work with and very responsive. She has made a wonderful home away from home and will surely be enjoyed by others who stay here. Thank you Lisa for such a memorable trip!

Perfect for a family of four. We had everything that we needed and the home was very clean. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We will be back again when we are in town.

This was our 7th stay at Riverbend and there are so many reasons why! The secluded beauty of the location. The extra comfortable beds. The fully stocked kitchen. The gorgeous fireplace. The views from every window. The wonderful Hosts! We cooked every meal at Riverbend whether from the grill or the kitchen. We never even turned the TV on during our week stay as everywhere you look is better than any show. We did some hikes at Madeline Lake Trail, not to mention Bearskin State Trail. The best hikes though were right on those 35 acres with our two Labradors! We will come back again and again so book your stay now!

This was a great place for our family to stay for Labor Day weekend! Shawn was flexible and responsive despite it being a holiday weekend. The home was very spacious. If you plan on cooking, I would make sure you bring oil/butter/ other basics.

Great spot to stay if you are hitting the trails. Private access from the property to the trails is sweet. Place was clean and had most amenities you would need. Hosts were quick to respond to questions/concerns. We will be coming back again.

We were there for snowmobile trip. He answered all questions we had. close to trail and good parking. great view of the lake.

We have stayed at Ron’s cabin many times and have loved every visit and memory made there. He’s a great host and we’re thankful for his seclusion in the woods. Five stars all around!!

The place is clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was easy to find. It's a great location as you can walk to restaurants or you are a short drive to outdoor recreation, like the Ice Age Trail. It's clear the owners are updating the facility and making it a great place to stay. I would 100% recommend it and 100% stay again.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

Beautiful, quiet place to get away from the city. We went kayaking, had a bonfire, watched movies, visited a friendly local bar, had large amounts of ice cream and visited Minocqua. We saw a bald eagle in a tree above their dock by the water!

Shelly was super responsive and overall an amazing hostess. She helped us with any questions we had before the trip and the couple we had during. She always responded within 30 mins of us reaching out :) The cabin was exactly as described in the listing and had everything we needed! Plus it was right around the corner from Ski Brule so we never had to travel to ski. Would highly recommend staying here- we will be coming back!

Shelly’s place was just what we were looking for for our ski weekend with another family. It was very comfortable and clean. There is no cell service, so make sure to have directions downloaded before getting close. Also, we didn’t realize it was unit B but figured it out quickly when we saw a car in the other driveway. The place was spacious and clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We appreciated the firewood and enjoyed the hottub. I would highly recommend Shelly’s place.
