Lewis is an exceptional host. The layout of the flat was great and the location was perfect for me.

From start to finish, Morag was always available. She was welcoming, informative and made us feel at home. As we had arrived at 10:30 at night, the welcome pack she left us was a godsend! A farm fresh egg omelette, toast and a cuppa was the best of meals!! Everything in Prestwick was just steps awsy - from restaurants, pubs, food shops. We'll definitely be back!

Great spot, perfect location

The property had everything we needed and more. Tracy has thought of everything. We were grateful for the welcome pack which included a lovely bottle of wine and tea, coffee, toiletries etc were provided. The beds were comfy and the apartment and was warm, cosy, modern and clean - exactly as described. Tracy is a great host and provided clear instructions for our stay.

Great stay, lovely apartment with a great view onto the harbour. Very clean and the hosts were quick to reply and left little extras which were greatly appreciated! Would highly recommend!!

Had a lovely comfortable stay, slept well and was very cosy, beautiful bedding. Kitchen and bathroom - and throughout - were pristine. Easy to find and access, and clearly marked parking. The lit Christmas tree, and bottle of wine, were very much appreciated, as was the flexible entry time and instructions from Valerie! Just lovely - thank you for having us :)

Anchor's Rest was absolutely perfect for our brief stopover on our tour of Scotland. So spacious and well-equipped, we felt right at home the moment we walked through the door. We had 2 great nights' sleep, a delicious meal at the Chestnuts Hotel, a good walk up to Alloway to see Robert Burns' birthplace, a lovely run along the beach, a spot of shopping, a bit of a natter with some local folk in the Tam o'Shanter and the Smugglers pubs, and cooked some tasty locally bought pies and vegetables 'at home'. Thanks to Neil for being so helpful and friendly, a truly great stay.

This was our second stay at Olena's apartment and it was just as good as the first . Olena was there to welcome us on a cold and very wet evening but she was just as warm and welcoming as before as was the apartment. The location is ideal, very quiet and close to town and the sea front.

What a great place to stay! The first impression - and the one that remains in the mind longest - is the terrific amount of space in the living room. Large and open, bright and airy. Being situated on the corner of the block gave great views on two sides: one of Wellington Square which is green and spacious right beneath the flat; the other of the sea. The location is really convenient for the town centre and facilities for eating, shopping and travel. Definitely the best TV provision we’ve ever enjoyed in an Airbnb. There was some stormy weather during our stay and we couldn’t get out for a couple of days but we never felt stuck or confined, mostly because of that spacious living room. Would definitely go back and certainly recommend this one for newbies or veterans visiting Ayr.

Great location with view towards Muirshiel regional park. The apartment is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and also benefits from a washing machine and dryer. Central heating is quick to warm up. Comfortable stay overall. The surrounding area is good for visitors, such as Castle Semple Loch, plus close to Glasgow airport.

This is my 2nd time staying here and would definitely stay again, lovely place, clean, very central, and communication with Martin is fast and always helpful
