We stayed here over Christmas and had a great stay. Daniel was a perfect host, providing clear instruction and a spotless ‘home away from home’. The location was perfect as it was a short walk from Lake Ainsworth, the dog beach and town, we only used the car to stock up our groceries. Highly recommend Daniel’s place for anyone travelling to Lennox with family or dogs. We’d love to return!

Amazing Stay!!! Easy Check-In / Easy Check-Out. Place was Practical for Our Family. Close to Everything - Local and Coastal. My 2 Dogs Loved the Back Yard. We feel like we should have stayed for Longer - 5 days was clearly not enough, as the Place was very fitting for Us....the Lake, the Beaches, the Golf Course. We loved that there were Plants in every Room of the Home. We Loved the Sun-Room, the dogs were happy to make the most of the room in the evenings. And My Little Toddler loved her Bedroom Space. Thank You for having Us. We hope next time we go to Ballina we can be in consideration for this Place Longer, as it really was The Best in Terms of Value and Locality.

Lovely place to stay - feel like you’re on top of the world! Amazing views of the water and bush in between. Rooms were tidy and as described Nice products in the bathrooms was a lovely touch! Steep drive and would be hard to fit 2 cars but easy to find and get in and out with check in. Super responsive host! Would definitely visit again as great location for exploring the area.

We had the most wonderful holiday at this beautiful house! It was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was perfect size, amazing layout, stylish, and had everything we needed. Danielle, the host, was incredible—her thoughtful extra touches made all the difference and truly made us feel at home. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

What an amazing place to stay! The Platypus Lodge was gorgeous, with incredibly peaceful privacy. Stunning place, would recommend a visit, and we’d love to visit again!

Karlee's place was great for our two night stay to see family in the area. Her place was clean with a kitchen that had all we needed to prepare our meals. The neighbourhood is quiet and the bed is comfortable so we slept very well.

Very comfortable, well equipped place on a beautiful beach that is close walking distance to nice cafes and restaurants. Hard to beat. Hope to be back.

We had such a nice stay. The place was beautiful and we could see the lake through the trees from the balcony! Katya was so friendly and helpful and gave us great recommendations and tips too! We would definitely recommend the place and stay here again 🤗

This was one of the nicest, best equipped Airbnbs we have stayed in. Add to that the beautiful location... We stayed for 5 nights with our son's family to explore the area and had a great holiday. The apartment is convenient, private and quiet with all the home comforts you would want. All helping us to have a great stay. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our time here. the unit was so lovely, the kids loved the bunk beds too. The beds were comfy, lovely linen and it was just a nice place to relax in.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The beach gear was a fantastic touch that made our beach days so much more enjoyable. Having access to umbrella, boogie boards, and all the essentials saved us both money and hassle. The host thought of everything! The property was perfect for our needs and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely a 5-star stay - would love to return and highly recommend to anyone considering booking here.

Short walk over the bridge to coffee, playground and the beautiful river/ beach! The unit was down the end of the complex with grass for the kids to run around and play. It was lovely: quiet and comfortable! There was a pool with a BBQ area for when we weren’t at the beach. We had a wonderful time! I wish we’d stayed longer!

Beautiful spot! House has everything you need, and feels like you’re living in the forest. Little swimming hole at the bottom of the property adds some extra magic. Very close to federal general store/doma. Would definitely recommend this place.
