Lucy was great - always responsive and helpful/clear with instructions. The place itself was fantastic, I was there with my wife, brother and some friends over New Year, and we were very comfortable. We had our dogs as well, who loved the garden! (Though note that the garden is not fully enclosed). We had a wonderful time - thanks Lucy!

I stayed at the cabin with my 2 sons for a birthday trip to Alton towers & the water park. Hannah very kindly left Easter eggs for my children & Prosecco for myself. The cabin was very clean and felt homely. The bathroom was modern and a good size. Both bedrooms were lovely & we all had a great sleep. I liked that the cabin felt separate/private from the main house due to the fencing and positioning of the cabin facing out to the field and the spacious garden for my son to run about in was welcomed. It’s a wonderful space. The hot tub was immaculate. Really enjoyed spending evenings in the garden as the outdoor lights and hot tub lights made it a nice atmosphere & Wakening up to see sheep in the field across from the cabin was just delightful. We visited a little bakery called Birds which is just a short drive from the cabin, they had yummy lemon tarts and homemade shortbread. Hannah was fast at responding to my messages and very helpful. Me and my partner stayed there for the weekend, and it was beautiful. Surrounded by nature and animals made you feel amazing as if in a movie. After staying at the cabin we had decided to do another weekend getaway, and I would definitely stay here again. Would highly recommend the cabin was just right and felt homely, along with having the fire pit and hot tub to relax in and feel cozy.

We came to Grantham / Barkston to attend the FIA Karting Worlds Championships and this home was the perfect base camp for our family. Very close to the track, excellent layout of this new home with a nice private courtyard out back and a detached garage. Great modern kitchen, bathrooms, and super comfortable beds. The service / hospitality was first class and we hope to stay here again when coming back to PFI. Thank you for a wonderful 5 weeks.

James was a very good and responsive host. Communication, directions etc. were spot on! The house was great. There were 6 of us in total - all adults. We did have a problem with a blocked toilet but James had this fixed quickly. There are 3 toilets in total so not a big problem. One star lost on cleanliness rating. On arrival there were crumbs across the dining table and a tea cup stain which we wiped away. Also, could have done with a towel in the downstairs bathroom. We also only had 1 tea towel which was done very quickly. We borrowed from family. Also, a lack of extra pillows meant we had to borrow cushions from the sofas. All very minor problems. I still felt it was value for money and would certainly book again next time we visit family in Nottingham

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.
