What an absolutely breathtaking view, located right in the middle of everything wonderful about Grand Marais. The suite layout, just off the kitchen and main area, was wonderfully private and the light from the sunshine filled the room every day. Really quite wonderful. The hosts: These are two of the most wonderful Airbnb hosts and humans on this planet that you will ever meet. Their commitment to their tenants as hosts and good people, is incredible. We loved that the Northern Goods store was just steps away, as well as the co-op, for groceries. Java Moose knocked our socks off and prepare to be blown away by the views of Artist’s Point. Can’t wait for next time!

Stayed here for Valentine’s Day weekend and it was beautiful and perfect! So clean and so cozy and loved having the whirlpool tub as well! The views are also amazing! Thank you for a spectacular weekend!

The location was perfect for our trip and the space provided everything we needed.

Spring break trip with three teenagers - enough space for all to sleep soundly and not bug each other. Beautiful living room/dining room area that made meal time together easy and fun - used the grill each night to make dinner. GORGEOUS views of Lake Superior. Absolutely loved the huge hot tub - sat in it outside to extend our time in the fresh air well into the evening despite colder weather. Enjoyed the coffee! Labels on amenities were very helpful. Check in/out a piece of cake, everything very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay! The host was very responsive, helpful, and provided great information about our stay. I highly recommend - the view from the place and surrounding area were breathtaking! It was a great place for our kids too, they loved the bunkroom and the pool. The outdoor hot tub area was a big hit as well. It was a beautiful place and we felt right at home!

Fantastic place to stay on the north shore for a larger group. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back!

Rachel’s place is just a few minutes outside of Grand Marais. The location made it easy to explore Grand Portage, Grand Marais, and the Gunflint Trail. We loved the peace and natural environment surrounding the rental. Plus that view of the Big Lake! Inside the rental were all the amenities we would likely ever need! The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies (pots, pans, coffee maker, etc). The living spaces had comfy furniture and streaming devices. We found the largest bedroom to have a comfy bed and great view. Wonderful stay!

Three of us had a wonderful wintery stay in early February. The house was great--cozy and comfortable with an incredibly well stocked kitchen and an epic bathtub! We took advantage of the gorgeous private sauna every single day and even had a bonfire one night at dust. The proximity to Lake Superior is another plus--as soon as you step outside the house you can hear the waves from the shore! Deidra was a wonderful host. She provided so many recommendations for the North Shore and even offered an early check in since the house was not occupied the night before our arrival. The snacks, welcome note and local gifts (wine, cider, maple syrup and pancake mix) made us feel welcome and appreciated. We hope to stay again in the summer when we can spend even more time outside enjoying the lake.

We had such a peaceful trip and will 100% be back for a longer trip. The views are absolutely amazing, the lake is clean and beautiful. So quite and relaxing. Ely has some nice restaurants and we are looking forward to coming back to explore more.

If you love snowmobiling and are always on the lookout for fresh trails, let me put Hovland, MN, on your radar. I recently spent a weekend there with a few friends, and it was hands down one of the best riding trips I’ve had. Our Airbnb turned out to be the perfect home base, and the snowmobiling in the area? Absolutely top-notch. One thing to note—you’ll need to trailer into either Grand Marais or Grand Portage to hit the trails. While that might sound like an extra step, it’s actually a huge advantage. Both spots serve as prime trailheads, giving you direct access to an extensive network of well-groomed trails. Plus, they offer gas, restaurants, and plenty of parking, making it super convenient. And since Hovland is equidistant from both, it's less than a 20-minute drive in either direction, so you can switch things up depending on the day. The accommodations were very comfortable and conveniently located. We brought our mountain bikes and Chad helped us secure them when we weren't using them which was nice and appreciated. Located on Highway 61 but the traffic and noise were not a bother, and the proximity to hiking and biking trails (both paved and off-road) were a plus. It might be a little snug if you have more than two people and spend a lot of time inside, but my partner and I were very comfortable and easily made ourselves at home. I am not a coffee drinker but she is and said the options Chad provided were very tasty. The space is newly remodeled and it sounds like Chad is continuing to finish things off in terms of trim, etc., but as it sits now we found it to be very cozy and relaxing. We would definitely book again or recommend to friends staying in the area. Thank you, Chad!

We had a wonderful stay. The end unit is great for a beautiful view! The location is amazing to Ski in/Ski out! Very cozy with the fireplace. Love the large deck. Jesse and Dean were very helpful and quick to respond with my questions. Thank you for allowing my furry kids to join us!! It was really fun!!!!

This is the perfect place to stay if taking a class at North House or exploring Grand Marais. The location is perfect, and the place is cozy. I’d love to stay here again.

This place was great. We stayed during ski season and it worked perfectly, it seemed like it would be a great spot to stay during the summer, as well. Abby & Zach responded immediately to our lone question. The condo was clean and exactly as described. Would highly recommend.

Two words. THE VIEW! You absolutely cannot beat it. This place is walkable to everything in downtown Grand Marais, which we absolutely loved. Very nicely decorated, clean and the king size bed was beyond comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here and we'll definitely be back. Five stars!
