This was our second stay at Aaron’s Airbnb, and once again, it was perfect for our family — myself, my parents, and my two young kids. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking meals easy, and the beds were super comfortable. Heating and cooling worked great, and everything was spotless when we arrived. We especially loved the private patio — such a great space to relax. The location is incredible: close to shops and restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet area, and just one block from the beach. There were so many thoughtful extras, too, like beach chairs, toys, and board games that made the stay even more enjoyable. Aaron is a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this Airbnb and can’t wait to come back!

Staying at Nancy's place was a fantastic experience for my family, a family of four including two children. The house is beautiful and Nancy was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The kitchen is very well equipped, the front and back yards are lovely to sit in. The only difficulty we encountered was that we didn't have longer to stay! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The view is amazing! You feel so secluded despite being so close to Julian. Overall, great spot! Just as a note, to access two of the bedrooms you have to go through another bedroom. This may be something to consider if traveling when needing all four rooms. We only needed 3 so it wasn’t an issue for us.

the apartment was fantastic! Situated in a quiet area of Ocean beach, it was a short walk to the various pubs and restaurants. it was also a short drive to the old town transit centre where parking was free and the metro was easy to get for all the tourist spots in downtown San Diego. you could on the road or if you couldn't find a close space, in the garage at the rear of the property. my wife and I stayed for a week and a thoroughly enjoyable time. I couldn't recommend this Airbnb highly enough. it was great

We had a fantastic stay here. The location was excellent—so close to the beach, coffee shops, and restaurants in both mission beach and pacific beach. We had 6 adults staying and didn’t feel cramped. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio. We had no problem parking a Honda civic and Kia sportage side by side. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy home in a fun neighborhood with a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy the San Diego weather. It was a pleasure staying at Carrie's place!

Great location in Ocean Beach. Just a few short blocks to all the action, yet just removed from all the action. House is accurately described. Having a driveway and private parking spot is priceless in this neighborhood.

I'd recommend staying here to anyone who's wishing to just be out in San Diego and enjoy the weather and climate. With the bikes provided, and everything just around the corner you can easily navigate most of the surrounding areas to the beach or to restaurants by foot or bike.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

This place is very clean and well maintained. They have thought of everything you need - Kleenex, pool and beach toys, lighting in the backyard, comfy beds, shampoo/conditioner, a well-stocked kitchen, ziploc bags, a wagon for going to the beach, charging station, detergent, bathroom supplies, large washer/dryer, and more. The beds are comfortable and the air works well. They have great blinds/blackout curtains and nice noise machines in each bedroom. We didn’t notice the train at night either. The dipping pool in the backyard is definitely more useable in warm weather. The outdoor shower is useful for rinsing off sand from toys, sandals, and feet. We had a great stay and were very comfortable. This is a *great* AirBnB. No complaints!

House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The host was responsive to any questions we had. The home was clean and accommodating. There were great features in the home including generous offerings of subscription services such as TV, music and video games. The host is also generous with pool and hot tub heating at our discretion and leisure up until quiet hours. The pool and hot tub and cabana were clean and made our stay very fun. Another great feature of this home is the overall vibe and vinyl records and whole house Sonos. The home is nicely equipped with lots of towels, full kitchen, games, and even a puzzle with all the pieces! The home is private. We were also able to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay at this location again and plan to look at other options offered by this host.

Place was great for my friends and I. Lots of space inside and out, plus the neighborhood was quite peaceful. Do keep in mind that the host stays on the property but no need to worry. Bruce is very kind, helpful, and hospitable. We felt that we had everything we needed regarding necessities and for fun! Overall this place is well worth the stay. Love the San Diego area so much! Everything was close by.

Navid was an incredible host, and we loved our stay at his beautiful home! He provided many great tips and suggestions about dining and activities in the area. The calamari and avocado sandwich that he recommended from El Pescador Fish Market in La Jolla was fantastic! His house had everything we needed for an amazing stay! The kids loved having their own room with bunk beds, couch and TV to hang out in. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and a small dog to spread out! We all enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living with fantastic views and the beautiful pool and yard. The heated pool (heating was a little extra) and the jacuzzi were amazing! There was also a game room in the garage! The house was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Navid has done an incredible job to ensure you have everything to feel right at home. The lemon tree was also a big hit, and we enjoyed fresh lemonade! Navid’s house exceeded our expectations! We didn’t want to leave and hope to be back soon!

Very private and beautiful spot. My cat loved exploring around, the place was cozy, the yard and grass was amazing. Got to lay out in the sun and rake a nap. Steve and his son were very responsive

We had an awesome stay at Rich and Adrienne’s cozy place with 2 young kids. The house was super well organized and very clean. We were able to find everything we needed. The beds were very comfy, with good quality sheets, towels were good quality too. Rich and Adrienne live right next door but the place felt very private. Easy walk to the beach, and a short walk to really nice restaurants. Outdoor shower was great when walking back from the beach. Even though the weather was foggy during our stay, we still were able to enjoy OB and had a great time!

I stayed in Gabe's Airbnb with 5 of my cousins for a week! The location was great - Trader Joe's and a cute bagel/coffee shop was literally a 5 minute walk from the house. We made multiple trips throughout the week. Gabe was super helpful and responsive when anything happened. We did get locked out somehow one time, and he was able to get us in and resolve the issue within 10 minutes through his Ring camera. The fridge and kitchen were stocked well and we were able to use the stove without problems. The one thing I will mention is the living room area is a bit smaller than I expected. It was difficult for all 6 of us to sit at the same time to watch a movie or play games, but we all had more than enough space for sleeping, and to store our belongings. The hot tub was definitely a huge highlight of the place! It is shared with the neighbors but they were never using it while we were there!

We were able to easily explore the city's attractions and restaurants. The enclosed yard was private and relaxing. And the swing? It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventures. We have stayed with Lisa multiple times in the past year. It’s like a home away from home. Very easy to get to and convenient to visiting friends and family. Very quiet neighborhood and cozy place inside.

This was a great place to stay. The backyard was a great hang out spot and the location is prime. Also the bedding and pillows felt really nice and expensive!

We had an amazing little staycation over the weekend at the Violet Oasis. Extremely clean, the bed was so comfy we never wanted to leave, both parking locations easy to find and Elizabeth and Paola were super responsive. Rather than feel like we were staying at an Airbnb it felt like staying over at a friend’s place. Their passion responding to their guests, making them feel at home and providing information on what to do in the area really shows in this listing. We will be back!
