2nd time staying at Katie’s. Really responsive and the cabin was beautiful. Lovely new kitchen, bathroom and spacious bedrooms. The living room was a good size with a large table. Hot tub outside with a view of the fields with horses in and a small lake to the side of the cabin with ducks. We booked some spa treatments which were great for a girls weekend, we had head massage, facial, back massage and body wrap / scrub, the lady that did them was lovely. Really peaceful place and will deffo being staying again for another girls trip, we all loved it. Great that you can also check in at 14:00 so you get pretty much a full day.

Great stay, stopped with my kids who are mostly teens, they didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to spread out, very spacious! Convenient for city centre, shops, train station etc Would definitely stop again, many thanks! Host left us sweets and staples which was a lovely touch.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pingle Nook Farm Guest House. The place is ideal for families wanting a peaceful location. My boys loved feeding the chickens everyday & collecting the eggs. The house was well equipped and clean with everything we needed as a family. We will definitely be back!

Lucinda was a fantastic host and the property was beautiful! Even down to the finest details, we had everything to hand and couldn’t have possibly needed anything else, the surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful, we will definitely be returning here! The host even helped us when we had car trouble, going above and beyond to support us!

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! Such a romantic and peaceful getaway. It was a little date weekend for me and it was our first time away together. We had such a lovely time, it was cosy and private which is exactly what we wanted. We were surrounded by beautiful views and had the company of 3 cute little goats and 3 gorgeous highland cows. The local town was a short drive away so could go for walks, get food and grab any little bits we needed. Everything was more or less provided. Even got hot water bottles, socks and hand warmers which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was different to anything I’ve seen before but it worked really well. Loved the outdoor kitchen area, we made use of the BBQ. It’s perfect for 2 people. Would definitely come back

The place was spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well equipped. We cooked Christmas lunch and wanted for nothing. Nice touches like basic condiments, kitchen roll and every type of cleaning materials you could want. The main bedroom is small but the large bed is extremely comfortable, ditto the pillows and duvet. We slept well. Could do with some hanging space, wall hooks and some coat hangers would do. Very nice linen and towels and large chest of draws. The 2nd bedroom also has a very comfortable bed and again well equipped. Living room is warm and comfortable with AC available. TV could do with an upgrade, poor reception. The internet was great with 37Mbps speed. Shower room/toilet is fine but could do with a heated towel rail in winter. The local town, Wragby, is a seven minute walk away with two good pubs, takeaways and a Co-op supermarket. Really friendly people too. All in all the place was perfect for our seven day stay, thoughtfully appointed and highly recommended.

If you’re staying in Pocklington then this house is fantastic. Huge! Clean! Warm and cosy. All the mod cons. Really really exceeded our expectations. It’s just a couple of minutes walk from Market Place. Only comment is that maybe there should be fans in all the bathrooms…otherwise, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis…way bigger than you think. Loved it.
