Isobel was a great host! Great communication, very welcoming and really appreciated being able to have a late check out. Such a lovely home - quirky decor and beautiful colours- a lovely change from some of the plain magnolia painted Airbnbs we have stayed in! Perfect location - only 4 minutes walk to the beach! Very grateful that we could take our little dog with us! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we would love to return!

A beautifully-appointed house with spacious rooms, an enormous garden and a great location for everything you want to do in Lyme.

Great stay in a beautifully restored old building with big comfy beds. 5 minutes walk from the beach and a pub serving delicious food (worth booking ahead). Very friendly volunteers at the nearby DD centre/war museum, well worth a visit to see the history of the Isle of Portland and fun for the children, they get to climb inside a tank!

A beautiful home in a superb location. We shall definitely return. Jan was a perfect host and extremely thoughtful and responsive with messages. She made the house feel like home with the thoughtful inclusion of little things that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyed. The beds were extremely comfortable and I am not usually a great sleeper, however the entire family slept excellently for the duration. Highly recommended property.

We found the Owl’s Barn easily, set in a beautiful location in the South Hams. The lounge, kitchen / dinner was light and airy with lovely sea views. The kitchen was well equipped. Walking distance to the local community pub in Strete which was also good. We even had some lovely weather and enjoyed the balcony in the sunshine. Would defo recommend and would like to return, for easy access to the SW coast path. Thank you very much

Loved the apartment which has perfect positioning by the harbour. Beautiful views and close to many excellent restaurants and Asda supermarket too. Very well equipped and clean and large kitchen with a dining space. Just brilliant!

Spent a great few days over new year in this impressive house , once we figured out parking , with help from host, lots of room for 8, sitting round large table , lots of food and board games, walks on beach just a few minutes away. We had great family time in a warm , comfortable , well appointed house.

A lovely property which has been decorated to a very high standard. It was just a short walk to the beach and 5 to 10 mins unto town. Jane was a very helpful host. Parking is approximately 5 min walk from the property but didn't cause us a problem. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

We loved staying here! Jennie was superb at communication, from her very clear instructions and recommendations to answering any queries. Jennie's place is warm, clean and a pleasure to stay in. It is very comfortable with EVERYTHING you need - it is very well thought out and beautifully decorated and nicely furnished. The showers are hot and beds comfortable. The views from the property are lovely. The surrounding area is great to explore, with great places to eat and the short ferry to Plymouth is easy to catch. We wouldn't hestitate to stay here again and to recommend it to others.

Church View Cottage is in a lovely spot. It’s in the centre of town but very peaceful. I stayed for a month and it felt like home. Everything was spotless, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower is powerful and the bed is very comfortable. Neil and Marilyn are friendly and thoughtful hosts.

Really nice, clean, spacious property. Brilliant location for the beach, town, station, shops and parking. Had quick and courteous communication when required. Overall, very happy with our stay and would highly recommend.

We really love staying at Andy’s place. It’s a short walk into the town and has parking close by. The house has great facilities for children so it’s great for our family. Andy is super responsive and a great host

We stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend & had a lovely time visiting family nearby. Peter’s house was very handy for both the town centre & our nephew’s home. We were able to park in the next street along & actually walked everywhere for the rest of our stay. Peter left a comprehensive guide to tell us everything we needed to know. The house was spacious, everything was spotlessly clean & we felt very much at home there. We wouldn’t hesitate to book the house again when we next visit Taunton.

We spent a lovely weekend at Cloud Nine . The home is warm welcoming and decorated beautifully. Lots of quirky artistic pieces, coupled with all mod cons . It was perfect for a group of us ladies on an art weekend. The location is fantastic- a short walk from the beach and a co op . We ate at the Cove House Inn and had a delicious reasonably priced meal in a great location. Only downside is the lack of parking ( which can’t be helped as these are old ,narrow streets) but we did manage to find a space in the car park at the top of the hill . Highly recommended 🙂

I booked Lorna Doone for a get together with three relatives and we had 4 nights. The house was perfect for us. There was penty of space, the lay out worked well and my daughter and grand daughter enjoyed the pool table and darts while my sister and I had quiet chats in the garden space. We had a day out at Dunster Castle and a day in Minehead. We can really recommend the Sunday roast at The Ship Aground Pub at Minehead harbour. We loved exploring Watchet too. We appreciated the cleanliness, the well equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds and the sea view. Thank you Alan and Pat for the extra items in the fridge and the home comforts.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location: in the heart of the Barbican without the noise. Even had an absurd superyacht as a neighbour on our last night (it moored up just below the flat in the harbour). Proximity to Jacka Bakery was not taken for granted. Lovely.

I just want to say this property is fantastic, it's amazingly clean and surpassed all my expectations and the lovely little details of soap and memory foam mattresses. This has got to be the best air bnb I've stayed in.

We had such a lovely stay at Ryan’s house. It is well located in the Centre of town within walking distance to all sorts of nice shops and cafes. We had a fab lunch at Rye bakery. Also close enough to enjoy visiting Stourhead, Stonehenge, and Hauser & Wirth. It is also such a unique and interesting house. It felt like stepping back in time to a special and beautiful era and was a real experience. Thank you!

Wonderful weekend. The house is everything you could ask for. Walking distance for the town. Andrew explains the road is narrow and it is. But this didn’t bother us as it makes it very quiet. The house was perfect for our stay visiting our son for families day at the Royal Britannia Naval college. It was walking distance to the college. The house had everything you needed and was very clean and warm. Plenty of space for us all. Thank you for our stay. Just a shame it’s not available for his Passing Out Parade dates in August! 😢

Lovely and good equipped place to stay. Lots of room for our family with two dogs. Good size garden and good location.

Affordable. Cozy. Warm and homey. Delia's place had everything you'd need right down to the toilet rolls! The place was clean, tidy and just like home away from home. Delia was a fantastic host. very responsive. thorough with her responses and her information booklet (Which we absolutely loved!) and having books and leaflets in the house for nearby attractions was a lovely addition. we can't thank Delia enough for such an affordable use of her home. thank you so so much. I hope we are down by you again soon!!!
