I recently had the pleasure of hosting a staycation at Ashmi’s delightful home in Royston, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and a beautifully presented basket of goodies. It was filled with delectable local treats, indulgent chocolates, and even a bottle of milk to have a cuppa at the start of our stay. Accompanying this was a thoughtfully compiled book of recommendations, brimming with insider tips on the best local spots to explore—from quaint tearooms to scenic country walks. The house itself was absolutely immaculate, with a spotless kitchen that was a joy to use, and spacious, beautifully designed living areas where we could all relax and unwind. Every nook of the home exuded charm and comfort, ensuring that everyone felt right at home. The highlight for us all was undoubtedly the jacuzzi, a luxurious retreat that provided hours of relaxation and laughter under the stars. It’s soothing warmth!

We booked this place last minute, but it turned out to be a great choice. A large property that amply accommodated our group.

We stayed here as a big family group for a wedding in the local area and it was ideal. Our party ranges from 8 years old to 90 years old and it suited all of us. The pool table, table tennis and hot tub were particularly well used. The property had everything we need and it is a spectacular building, there is a real WOW impact when you first go in! There is plenty of space so it really suits a large group. The area is very rural and quiet with lots of wildlife to be seen (badgers, deer etc.). All in all a beautiful place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Swatis place. The house is lovely and we felt very at home. it was spacious enough for 7 adults and the hot tub and the sauna was a bonus. Highly recommend.

Claires Round House was a great little find. it was perfect for a couple if days geteaway. and do quaint can't recommend it enough

Sally's home is beautifully decorated, very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed, clear instructions and Sally was proactive in her communications and making sure we were set for our stay. The house is in a great location - we appreciated being able to go on lovely walks in the countryside and enjoyed the views and quiet space. As a family of 5 this was a much better option for us than staying in a hotel, while visiting local family. We'll definitely book again. Thanks Sally!

Tristan and Charlotte are superb hosts. So friendly and helpful. The house is spectacular. A wonderful period property, modern and homely inside. The beds are so incredibly comfortable and the location peaceful so a good nights sleep is very easy! Would recommend very highly

Great place to stay near Canary Wharf! The home itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The hot tub and sauna are luxurious and a fun treat! Kitchen is fairly well stocked and easy to cook in. A/C worked great. Washer/dryer combo machine is nice to have as well. There is a small market across the street which makes getting groceries super easy. The bus stops right in front of the house for easy transport to Canary Wharf or anywhere in the city. Great transportation connections via DLR as well. Greenwich is an easy walk and a wonderful way to spend a day. All in all a fantastic place to stay! Thanks for making it a great place for our family!

Que dire à part que tout était tout simplement PARFAIT!!!!Si vous décidez de passer un séjour en famille et/ou entre amis,le logement est génial pour visiter Londres!!!Damian est réactif, à l’écoute et le logement était exactement comme sur les photos!!!Le train est à 2minutes à pied du logement…Comptez 10 minutes entre chaque train…donc très bien desservi!!!!A 10 minutes à pied maximum,vous pourrez trouver un grand magasin alimentaire (TESCO) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!!!!!!! Grâce à Damian et son logement notre séjour a tout simplement été fabuleux…Londres est une ville magnifique!! Virginie

The house was beautiful and was the perfect location for our more chilled hen do. We enjoyed the outdoor area, as well as the cinema room and comfy beds. Damian was always on hand to contact and continued to check in if we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything, highly recommend

A perfect getaway! Exactly as described and had everything that we needed. It was very clean and the views were amazing. Jane (the host) was super helpful and arranged a cake delivery for me! The experience was great and I’d love to go back!

We had a wonderful stay was very cosy the hot tub was perfect. We had the best time and Vincent the host was extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back

Lovely little get away , clean, comfortable bed and the hot tub was a lovely extra and very relaxing , would defo stay here again

we loved our stay here, despite the rain! The new pagoda meant we could still enjoy the hot tub. Our little ones loved it too! Everything we needed.

John was a great host, he welcomed us and was very friendly and communicated from the start. The lodge is so peaceful, quiet and scenic. The amenities are great, only suggestion would be some light blankets as it gets cold and they would have been nice to sit outside with. We didn't stay long, only 2 nights, would happily have stayed longer and would deffo come again for race days. Lovely local pub 2-3 min walk away the Red Lion, beautiful food and staff were friendly.

Fabulous stay at Cambridgeshire Lakes. Beautiful lodge, stunning location and incredibly peaceful. Jemma was super helpful with any questions that we had. 100% would recommend

If you are a wine lover this is the place for you! Very clean and tidy, outside area was spotless! Very private and out of view of the other cabins! Beautiful views of the vineyard which made for a lovely view to read by. Hot tub was lovely but needs a while to heat up due to it being fire heated, but marshmallows while waiting is perfect! The ‘not so mini bar’ was very much enjoyed and we even took extra home! Host was very responsive and helpful for any and all questions! Quite light in the mornings so if you plan on sleeping in, bring an eye mask.

Lovely peaceful location and ideal for a relaxing break to explore Suffolk. The accommodation and equipment provided were excellent. We’d definitely make a return visit in future.
