Great spot in a quiet little town on the water

I almost don’t want to say how fantastic my stay was because going forward you are sure to be always booked! I absolutely LOVED Commonground! The building buzzed with positivity and happy people. The cafe and food downstairs were delicious. The music at night fun. Everyone seemed happy. The room was immaculate and thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen had everything I need and more. I loved that you had games, a pack and play, a high chair, extra comfy pillows and blankets. I liked. That there were two real plants in the kitchen (which I watered and pruned for you). I suppose the only things I would say is that I miss having cable, being a news person, and the overheard lights were a bit too bright. I highly recommend Commonground.

This was a really nice, clean place with great views. The host and building manager were extremely thorough with how to locate the building and get in and were very responsive. The location was perfect, right by quite a few restaurants. 5 minute walk and you are right smack in the heart of downtown.

Perfect stay. Location was ideal. The apartment is large and comfortable. I was thrilled to stay in an Airbnb home that wasn't absolutely inundated in chemical fabric softeners and fragrances. This home was clean and did not have any chemical overwhelm. Excellent. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. It is our third visit and it never disappoints. The boathouse was clean and cozy. Pam and Dave are lovely hosts.

We enjoyed our stay. This room was perfect for a few night stay, had basic kitchen amenities, Roku worked well, couch and lighting gave it cozy feel. Room was very clean, good use of small space. Great location. Communicative hosts. We would stay again.

Linda’s place was extremely clean, nice and cozy. Her place was just as described and she added all the amenities I needed for my stay. I liked that she was personable and paid attention to detail. I highly recommend.

Great spot close to great breweries and restaurants. Easy check in and parking. Loved the balcony in the evenings.

Our second cousin holiday season at this location and we love how comfy and sociable of a space it is, while still providing privacy and space to isolate when needed. Amazing hosts and always helpful!

You will instantly fall in love with the quiet lakefront beauty and the breath-taking and welcoming home just 60 or so feet from the water. The main floor of the house is close to lake level making the drama of nature around you compelling and inspiring. The waterfront and waves lapping the stone and sand shore are visible from almost all the rooms of the house, and it's a short walk to River Street in Elk Rapids. Traverse Magazine readers voted River Street "in the top 10 of ‘Sweet Small-Town Main Streets in Northern Michigan.'” The pace of life is calming in this lovely town and in this beautiful home. Owner Bernadette and property manager Sam make you feel perfectly at home. Response time to messages is instant, polite, and friendly. There's so much enjoyment to be had for all ages here.

This property is flat out amazing! The pictures do not do this place justice. The layout of the house is perfect for a family vacation with plenty of space all over the house! Game room is amazing with the theater seating and huge TV, the deck is a great place to lounge, walk out door on the ground floor is a nice touch, rooms have a nice view of the lake. The house is very clean and has everything that you need. Yes, the house is amazing, but David made this stay a one of a kind. I asked a lot of questions and he was patient, understanding, and welcoming as a host from start to finish. Communication with David was very clear and concise. Thank you again David for making this vacation one that we will never forget! We will definitely be coming back to stay at one of your properties!

Beautiful place and very convenient location on the outskirts of Traverse City! I would highly recommend staying here.

This cabin was so much more than we expected. We tend to stay in cabins when we go on vacation, and in particular log cabins. This was the cleanest, most spotless cabin we've ever stayed in. The cabin was bright and extremely cozy. The couch was very comfortable - the perfect way to spend an evening watching Netflix after a full day's worth of outdoor activities. So many small touches and amenities - too many to note. We would absolutely visit again with our doggie who had a great time too!

The location and cottage are fantastic. We enjoyed an awesome week at the lake with great fishing and peaceful fun times with family. Brought a boat for the week and thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the large sand bar on the lake. Julie was a great host who communicated clearly with everything and made things so easy for us. The location is about as private as it can get being on a lake which made it for a quiet peaceful week! Would definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is an absolute treat having our boat right outside at the dock. We loved listening to the loons. Mark, the property manager is super helpful (thank you!). The property is clean, clutter free, and the house is stocked very well with essentials. Michael accommodated a special request I had for our stay during booking and I really appreciated the opportunity. We would love to stay here again! My only complaint is the trip went by too fast!

Beautiful condo! Walkable distance to a lot of restaurants, shops, and the water. Host was very accommodating, responsive, and helpful.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! Very easy to find, easy checkin with a door code, and the most beautiful waterfront view imaginable. Many thoughtful amenities (white noise machine in the bedroom to drown out any noise from traffic, local coffee for the coffee pot, makeup wipes and floss sticks in the bathroom, beach towels). Very easy to get everywhere as you’re right on 31. While it wasn’t the warmest April weekend, it was warm enough to enjoy walks on the beach and watching the sun set. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful and comfortable place, excellent view of the bay, within walking distance of all downtown TC. Loved it.

We are repeat guests to Lakeside Lookout and truly love the convenience of this location. Mary and Sid were so helpful when our travel plans changed by a day and their response time was immediate. We enjoyed everything winter has to offer up north this weekend!

Cozy fire by the fireplace Friday evening. Extremely convenient location to the Highlands and Nubs. Hot tub in community center after day of skiing. Fun times, good meals, and drinks in downtown Petoskey. Coffee in the morning with deer meandering through woods behind the condo. Condo is a nice set up for a larger group with many nice renovations. Host Shannon was very organized and responsive.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was conveniently located. Rick was very responsive and had very clear instructions for us. It was also very clean and tidy!!! I would recommend this to others, and hope to be back sometime. Thank you Rick!!!

Cannot say enough great things about this space and Michael! Amazing space. Fell in love with TC! Will be back....and definitely stay here!
