Cyril's place is amazing. We stayed for several days in July. Cyril is very helpful with local hints and advice. He goes above and beyond the role of host we went for dinner to a local smokehouse one evening so that I could try lots of local food. The location is a bit out of town but that's really not a problem it's 11-12RM in a grab to the centre and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a car. The pool is great to come back to on a hot afternoon and the shower was great. It is an unusual place, if you have an open heart and want to engage beyond a bland hotel room in a faceless block then Cyril's place is a gem.

It's a good location to stay. Near to Likas Stadium. The rooms are clean. Kah Li provided breakfast meals which is great. Her family helps with the hosting and very accomodating.

It was a very nice experience to spend a week with your kind family in Long Pasia. We made very nice excursions (hikes, cooking, rafting), which we will always remember. It is very nice how warm, nice and friendly the whole family and the people in the whole village are. We will miss that. We hope we can meet you again soon!

Very nice place. The room is basic, small, and very cosy. Nature lovers will absolutely adore it as the surroundings are filled with flowers and other plants. There's free breakfast and the place has a restaurant for dinners. The staff was very helpful. It's also walkable distance to Kinabalu Park. One downside is that the steps above the room are pretty loud but there's peace and silence at night night.

The check in was extremely easy and straightforward.

Il patio sul mare indimenticabile. Il soggiorno comprende i pasti e l'attività di snorkeling nei dintorni. Si possono inoltrare programmare escursioni aggiuntive che vale la pena di fare. Catherine was really helpful with local recommendations. The food was lovely and Catherine catered to our specific dietary requests. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

小屋很干净很温馨 有很多猫猫都特别乖！早上桌上会摆好早餐 出去跳岛之前可以垫一口 可以洗衣服 可以洗澡 院子外景色也很漂亮！来仙本那玩想住在镇里的请尽管选择东东小院！

Couldn't recommend Kem and her place more. This is THE MOST unique place to stay in the entire city. My stay in Brunei would've been completely different (and not even as close to as cool) had I stayed anywhere else. I'm SO thankful I found this hidden gem - one that has been in her family since 1926!! The views of the city are exceptional. The water taxi is easy and accessible. Kem and her family are extremely kind and helpful. And man, just sitting and reading on the porch was such a relaxing highlight. Best stay I've had in a while!!
