Love my stay ! Angel was amazing and VERY accommodating loved everything the space

My co-worker and I were in town to conduct inventory at our Warehouse and the hotel options are always pretty depressing. We love staying in Mentone and this cabin was the perfect place to unwind after a grueling day. We REALLY appreciated the walk up entrance to the house as we needed to lug large boxes back and forth each day. We were even treated to some snow and the walkways and driveway remained easy to navigate. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer! Will definitely look to book this cabin again ;)

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. It was super clean and had many amenities that you would not expect, such as toys for the children and sound machines in every room. Craig was quick to reply when I contacted him and was also friendly and professional.

Came to the Coalmont Cabin for a mother-daughter trip and it truly was a serenity retreat. Ryan and Genette's place is amazing! It's really hard to articulate how wonderfully "unplugged" we were from the outside world. We did venture out to do some hiking..Greeter Falls, Boardtree Falls, Stone Door and Laurel Falls...but the rest of the time was spent at the cabin reading, listening to music, talking, laughing, cooking, kayaking, getting in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. We made so many wonderful memories and plan to return again!

The A frame is gorgeous. It’s fairly new. A previous review helped us not get locked out so I want to reiterate - make sure you know the auto locking backdoor entry code before you go out or have the key to the front with you. The views were wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet. The spiral staircase is so unique and fun but be careful not to walk into the corner of it. (Yes, we are both klutzes.). We had a wonderfully snowy retreat that was so needed. You won’t regret staying here.

We had a great time staying here for our chattanooga trip! It's perfectly private while not being completely remote from the city. Owen was a great host and very responsive to any questions we have. We will definitely be coming back here in the future!

I booked The Fortress as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, and it did not disappoint! The entire experience was amazing! The cabin was incredibly clean and just as pictured and described. John was a great host, and the directions for check-in were clear and helpful. The cabin is pretty close to the main road, but it felt secluded and private. We had everything we could have wanted or needed in the cabin! We are working on our own playroom, and our time in the cabin helped us determine our priority purchases. The Game Shack Cafe is a small coffee and breakfast spot nearby that is well worth a visit! I highly recommend taking the 20-minute drive to Fall Creek Falls to enjoy the gorgeous waterfalls! Chattanooga is a super easy 50-minute drive from Dunlap, and dinner at Bridgeman’s Chophouse was delicious! 10/10 recommend The Fortress, and we will definitely be back!

We paid extra to have the hot tub and privacy compared to other places in the area. It was NOT the owners fault but it was tricky as they were doing construction at that exact location on the main road down below on the day of our arrival and it made it a little difficult to locate. Once we made the turn and got up there, the steep driveway and dip between the gravel and thick concrete was a surprise for my smaller car. The home stayed warm and is well insulated. The host is very kind and responsive and the property itself is very lovely! Would stay again. The wildlife we saw was a nice bonus!! The only two suggestions: laminate the sheets in the notebook with more reader friendly info (condense to only local favorites), and make the driveway transition better. Ceilings were nice! Sheets and beds were comfy!! Supplies were on hand! Great weekend getaway for us!

Great place for a big group. Fire pit was nice. There was a chill neighborhood dog.

Absolutely beautiful house inside and out! It had everything we needed and everything that was advertised on the app. We usually stay in more secluded Airbnb's, but I have to say, even though we had other cabins in the area, we felt right at home, and like the only people for miles. The neighborhood is quite and relaxed. We definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place near Chattanooga!

This cabin is beautiful! The location is perfect - 15 min from downtown Chattanooga. The landscape around the cabin is stunning. It comes with everything you need and more! The host is responsive and provides you with more than enough stuff to feel right at home! We will be visiting again!!

Everything was perfect! The home felt very comfortable and cozy, super clean and stocked as well!! Host was super kind and responsive, had to get him to come fix a minor issue and he didn’t hesitate, came right over and got it fixed. It’s secluded but not a hassle to get to the home, it was just right. It was very easy to get to Downtown Chattanooga. Will definitely return to this home again 😊

This cabin was adorable! It was so cozy and comfortable. The bathroom/dressing room was huge! If soaking in the claw foot tub isn’t your thing (which it was my thing for sure!), there is a nice shower there as well. The beds are really comfortable as well for some much needed rest and an escape from busy day to day life. Keep in mind, this is an OLD cabin, and decorated in theme with being an 1870s home. Not fancy, but exactly what we were looking for! Cindy was an amazing hostess. She made sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed for our getaway. I highly recommend the Dutch Maid Bakery! We had a delicious breakfast and left with the best bread and cinnamon rolls. You will be close to lots of trailheads if hiking is something you like. If you forget something, it is most likely stocked and if it’s not there, you will find a Dollar General right down the road. We loved our stay and wish we could have had more time there.

Loved our stay in this secluded private little gem in the woods. We got in late in the evening to find the bridge and house all lit up with beautiful Christmas lights. The cabin itself was warm and inviting, you walked into an open living room with candles in the fireplace (which is functional). The bedrooms were spacious, well laid out and clean. The kitchen was large and well stocked with all the basic tools to prepare food while you relax. The yard has a wonderful easy trail leading to a few benches to sit on and enjoy the trees and small creek. Yes, you can hear the road but it did not affect how peaceful and relaxing the woods were. Follow the directions Gail gives you and you will have no issues finding the driveway. This was a great getaway, a little hidden home away from home. We are both looking forward to another visit.

Nature, nature, NATURE! If you’re outdoorsy, u belong here. Already booked another stay. Awesome hosts. Felt right at home. Had everything we needed: cooking utensils, clean potty, and fire wood🔥 The Clark’s view is all forest with a trail to a platform in the woods for even more seclusion. Highly recommended.

My friends and I came to the caverns for the weekend and stayed at Courtney and Adam’s Airbnb. It was a cute little cottage on a great compound of units with lots of things to do like fire pits, cornhole, and a Lake . Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Very nice place to stay in the hills of Tennessee. And Mary is a lovely lady.

Cabin faces away from property toward forest. So, you definitely feel out on your own. It's very quiet, calm. The cabin has all you need for a quiet, peaceful retreat: a roof, four walls, a bed, climate controlled (there are other amenities, but this is all I was really looking for). I was only visited by a couple of chickens once who wandered by to say "hello" and then go about their business. There was plenty of firewood near the cabin already, but there's also a rather large pile available if necessary. The only downside was that I didn't stay longer. Would definitely recommend. I miss it already.

Our family of 6 spent the week of Christmas here and we had the best trip. The home was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. The views from the home and the mountainside were amazing. There is a waterfall right in the backyard that is beautiful and we loved listening to the roar of the falls as it cascaded down into the canyon. We enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets each night from the back deck. Home is very secluded, private and quiet. We explored trails all around the property and our son even did a polar plunge in the pond on the property. The pond had the clearest coldest water ever! Josh and Noelle were amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. They even decorated the home with Christmas decorations and tress for us to enjoy. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a beautiful quiet getaway.

Beautiful cabin with great accommodations. Very clean and loved the decor! Cabin has great outdoor covered space on the water for eating, playing, fishing, and just rocking the day away! The private suite up the gorgeous spiral staircase features a king size bed with a half bath and two balconies to enjoy! We celebrated our 51st Anniversary with our family and friends over the Thanksgiving weekend and had the perfect place to relax and we had a very friendly and accommodating host in Beverly and her husband. We hope to return for another stay and would highly recommend it!
