Only a short stay to look around for property to buy. Beautiful beach, free of all the 'kiss me quick' hats etc, just a beach, surf, rabbits and sunsets. Sadly cut short by a vehicle breakdown. Ben and the housekeeping girls were amazing. Thank you. x

Immaculate flat with stylish furnishings, very comfortable beds with luxury linen. A comfortable lounge and a great kitchen. It was impeccably clean throughout. Highly recommend and will stay there again in the future. 10/10

A great location , responsive host and in an area close and within walking distance of good restaurants and cafes, clean and as described, also included gated private parking which was easy to get in and out of. I would recommend.

Fantastic location - easy walk to the city centre. Left the car at the apartment (free parking a huge bonus, although be aware the parking spaces are very tight), and walked everywhere. Exactly the base we wanted and needed for a long weekend.

The apartment is in a great location, everything is within walking distance. Massive advantage of having your own parking space. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Found the host to be helpful and answered the few queries we had. Amanda was there to meet and greet us with the keys and show us to the apartment. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at James's place. The residence is charming, clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious and safe. James was a terrific and highly responsive host and made sure that I was content with my visit. It's located in in a calm part of town, yet only a few minutes from everything you want to buy, see, and do. I highly recommend it to other travelers.

A well-located spacious apartment in a quiet area with all mod cons for a short or long term stay. Close to Scunthorpe centre and a 10 minute walk from a retail park with supermarkets and shops.

Perfect quiet location. Everything you could need in the apartment. Comfortable beds. I see the lift has been ooo for over 2 months. Less active people would struggle with the 68 steps up to the apartment. Overall well worth the money due to fabulous location to central York. A lovely spacious accommodation. (We were 4 Adults… all over 60)

First off, the host. Louise was extremely proactive and cooperative throughout the entire visit. We felt well taken care of the entire weekend. The location. Extremely central and close to every single location of interest. Spoilt for choice for dining and drinking options within walking distance. The property. As described, very quiet inside especially the bedroom. Easy to heat up, and very spacious throughout. The tilted floors and wood beams all add to the charm. Water pressure in shower could be higher, but temperature was fantastic. All in all, an excellent visit.

This apartment has an excellent location, a few minutes walk to Micklegate and then another 5 mins brings you to the centre of York. It was very clean and had everything needed for a short stay. It is compact, but that didn’t bother us as we were hardly there during the day. Clare is very responsive with access instructions and recommendations for places to eat. We had great meals at Delrios, Santanos and enjoyed brunch at Burberries. I’d absolutely recommend Clare’s place for a stay in York.

Would stay again 9/10 only problem when the fact a bell was going off evey morning but wasn’t his fault so for the property 10/10

Our second stay here, and just as good as the first. A perfect Airbnb just outside the city walls with secure parking.

A lovely, spacious flat, excellently situated in the centre of the city. Very clean, well equipped and spacious. The owners were very communicative and instructions on using items in the flat were very clear.

Beautiful apartment, very spacious and quite. Enjoyed staying in a different area of York and there were lots of cafes, pubs and independent shops to stop and browse while walking into town.

Fabulous flat. Everything you need is there. Comfy beds and great bed linen and pillows. Excellent location just of the promenade with parking. My relatively fit 85 and 83 year old parents managed the steep entrance stairs and changes in height between the bathroom and main living area but it may be an issue for less abled.

The flat was great, perfectly clean, with a comfy bed. Lesley and Sean were also on hand to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend!

Had such a fantastic stay here. The flat was absolutely pristine. Had everything we required. We parked on the drive but there is also parking just round the corner. A beautiful walk along the river into town and also an easy walk from the station. York is such a beautiful city. Highly recommend the Star Inn The City for cocktails on the terrace by the river, easily walkable. Thank you for a lovely stay.

First time using an Airbnb, I always prefer self catering so sounded ideal. Perfect location for us as we were visiting a Pool competition in the Spa Theatre, it was only a 10 minute walk. The flat was perfect, very comfortable and very clean. We were able to park right outside the property. Unless you wanted to explore further out, everything you need for a short stay was only a five minute drive away. The flat provided everything you needed and Is definitely worth a visit. The only warning I'd give is beware of the seagulls taking a dislike to your car ! Overall, great wee place and very good price. Would definitely recommend Yips Chinese Restaurantfor food, outstanding quality.

The accomodation was immaculate. Couldnt be in a better location for walking into York...part of the city wall walk just outside apartmemts. Decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Cosy and warm... Excellent communication. Would definatly recommend .
