Absolutely brilliant base to explore Eastbourne. Perfect for families and so close to everything. Tony & Lisa are fantastic hosts and our room was spot on. We can’t wait to visit again.

Our second fabulous stay in this extraordinary B&B in the countryside. Very tastefully decorated in a rustic eclectic style. L&R are the most welcoming and warmhearted hosts. An exceptional experience.

I had a wonderful time staying with Sue. The house is beautiful, lovingly furnished and very clean. The room I stayed in was cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. The house is in a peaceful area, within walking distance of many nice cafés and restaurants. Sue and her husband were very welcoming. I highly recommend staying here!

We had the absolute best time staying at Boldshaves. D and Peregrine were wonderful hosts! They were so accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The grounds are incredible and seemed almost endless! Truly, I don’t think I have seen such beautiful gardens. The bedrooms were quite big—perfect for letting our luggage breathe a bit—and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was also really fantastic with so many special touches!! We feel really fortunate that we found this gem. It was the highlight of our trip!!

We had a great stay at Melanie’s B&B. The house and room was clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and water was provided free of charge. The breakfast was buffet style with a great variety of options (including vegan option). All foods were high quality. The beachfront, hiking trails and the city center are in walking distance. Melanie is super friendly and made us feel at home straight away.

Perfect from start to finish. Incredibly responsive messaging and helpful prior to booking. Flexible check in, nice touch having water left for us after a night out! Lovely breakfast and great hosts. I’m feeling proud to be the first guest in ten years airbnb to reverse up their long driveway haha first place has been taken now! Thanks Lynn :)

We felt very welcomed by Jane & John, they were chatty & friendly and the breakfast was 5*. Jane found me some gluten free bread and cooked a delicious brekkie for us. We chatted to John about a local walk & he got his map to check our route. Lovely people, highly recommend.

It was a treat to stay at Simons place, interesting history which made the stay a bit special.

Caroline was an extremely kind, helpful and welcoming host - we felt right at home! From her homemade brownies on arrival to the home baked bread in the mornings, it was a real special stay. All locally sourced jams and marmalades were also a touch, along side her homemade granola, she couldn’t have done more for us. The house itself is situated in stunning surroundings of Rye, a stone throw away from the town centre. Will be back for sure, and highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful country get away.

I would absolutely love to stay here again. Lovely couple and a really lovely place to stay. It was a perfect location to stay after a wedding in Ticehurst. The room was absolutely spotless! Lovely comfy beds to sleep in and fresh linen. It was exactly what we needed. The breakfast was best Ive had in a long long time and lots of choice! 10/10 Worth every penny. I had a lovely stay with Mary&Paul. They both made me feel very welcome, they are both very kind&lovely people. My room was lovely clean and cosy, I slept 😴 very well. The breakfast in the morning was delicious 😋 the homemade muesli was really nice and my dippy eggs and toast was made perfectly by Paul, all washed down with a pot of tea. I am already planning my next stay. A big Thank you for everything. 😊

We had a wonderful weekend at Brighton and the airbnb was lovely, very clean and tidy, as well as peaceful to stay at, with complementary snacks and a kettle for convenience in the bedroom, and our own bathroom with towels and hairdryer available as listed. The area was walkable distance from the centre with lots to do. Mark was an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming, showed us around and gave us some recommendations on what to do locally, as well as providing us with info on buses and taxis etc. All under a great price. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back if we visit brighton again :)

Really friendly hosts, a lovely clean and cosy room. Small space but perfect for 2 on a short stay. Lovely patio window, we could sit in bed and watch the blackbirds and wrens popping about the patio garden. Everything you could need…coffee, tea, biscuits and a continental breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely, characterful home and an ideal base from which to explore Hartfield and Winnie-the-Pooh country. The bedroom was large and clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Val was a friendly and welcoming host. We would thoroughly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay there again.

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
