East Sussex : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Lovely stay, me and boyfriend was in the area for Tulleys Farm Shocktober festival, and wanted to make the weekend out of it. We did a hike on Saturday which was beautiful and then ended up in the Fox pub which was so warming and casual, then off to the festival later that evening - all in all a very humble weekend. And staying in this lovely home made it even better!

Had a fab stay at this property in March 2025. Were so lucky to have lovely weather and be able to sit out in the beautiful, peaceful garden. The house is lovely! Photos don't actually do it full justice, much nicer than we even expected. Living room area was very comfy and cosy. Bedrooms all very nice and the bed in the downstairs room with en suite was soooo comfortable. A great touch having breakfast items, milk and juice provided. Just a few mins walk away from the house you have a co op and a lovely pizzeria (delicious food). Shame the cafe was closed before 3pm on the Sat and not open at all on the Sun. We definitely would've visited if it had been open. Had a really great stay.... so much so I'm already looking to return with my family later in the year... if it's not booked up! Thanks again Wendy

Great place to stay for our family (and dog) for a weekend trip to Tunbridge Wells. The house has been renovated really beautifully and had everything we needed for a comfortable peaceful stay. There were lots of little personal touches too which were really appreciated. There's a nice park nearby which was nice to take our dog and son too. It's hard to find somewhere when you have a one year and a dog that ticks all the boxes you need to make the trip easy and stress free - but Jen's place really did and more.

I had an amazing stay here. Diets, the host, was incredibly welcoming, and the apartment was spotless and larger than expected. The space is beautifully decorated and perfectly situated, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Such a lovely holiday home - beautifully decorated, clean, cosy and a stone’s throw from the beach (be prepared for a steep climb to get there!) Rye is an 8 minute drive away and you can park for the whole day for £2.50 in Rope Street car park which is a 5 minute walk from the high street. Fran is an excellent host - friendly, responsive and the little personal touches within the house mean a lot. We would definitely recommend and would definitely book again.

This is a lovely spacious house in a great location for the coast. 2 living rooms make it good for groups or extended family gatherings. Kitchen is well equipped and the garden is a lovely extra space in good weather. Jill and Ben are friendly responsive hosts and gave helpful advice on the locality. We loved swimming and meal at Saltdean Lido and coastal walks from South Hill Barn.

Helen was a fabulous host with plenty of communication prior to our arrival. The place was immaculate and spacious and we had a wonderful stay. The little extra touches like the fresh milk, doggy treats, breakfast items and freshly baked bread (which was delicious) just made our stay that little bit more special. We ate at The Bull in Ditchling following the recommenation and the food was superb and the pub is just lovely. We had a delightful stay and whilst we didn't see the white stag we would love to return in the summer to make the most of the surrounding nature reserves and woodland. Thank you Helen for being a fabulous host and making us feel so welcome.

Myself and my friends stayed overnight at Jenny & Graham’s wonderful place, bringing in the New Year in nearby Edenbridge, and returning in the small hours to Finches. Such a brilliant stay - some very interesting decor of the Pyrenees, plentiful games, DVDs, as well as a well-equipped small kitchen. The beds were all ready-made for us all, and very comfortable. Peaceful surroundings, and a grand stone pillar entrance, which was exciting to drive into as we entered! Jenny and Graham were just lovely. Jenny gave me a very warm welcome, and as we were leaving, I had a great conversation with Graham. I had left my watch at the place, and Jenny was incredibly understanding and patient as I arranged a time to collect it. I would highly recommend Finches to anyone looking to stay in a peaceful, beautiful location - with Ashdown Forest practically on the doorstep, you are in a prime spot to explore the wonderful landscapes and places that East Sussex has to offer! Paula and Simon were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The little extra touches they left for us made the stay even more comfortable (especially with children!). The house is also absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for a very easy and lovely stay.

Apartment was spotless. Everything was there we needed. The most wonderful experience was sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and sunset over the sea. Perfect location to chill. Gemma was always on hand if needed and was always helpful and cheery. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this stunning St Leonard's house! Marsha was a warm and responsive host, and her place is so spacious and filled with light. Everything was spotless and we had all that we needed. Would highly recommend!

Very convenient location with lovely views of the sea from front of property. Easy to park on road - no restrictions. Property very well equipped and host left a range of edibles from fresh milk, orange juice, bread, butter, fruit etc for our use. Beds very comfortable with very clean linen/bedding. Garden area looked great. In the summer, I imagine, a great spot to relax. It was expensive to stay but this seems the norm now and 100x better than a hotel. Would return at a warmer time of the year next time to enjoy the garden and nearby Lido and beach.

Enid is absolutely lovely, she went out of her way to make sure we had a brilliant stay. Her place was very clean and well equipped. It is a little out of the way but was easy to get taxis and only 8/9 to get to Hastings old town. I would highly recommend.

I booked a very last minute trip and Simon accommodated me perfectly with short notice. A lovely place to stay with extra care and detail inside the property, in a wonderful location - just a short walk to everything you’d want to see!

Had a really lovely time staying here for our honeymoon! Super peaceful and a great place to enjoy some Pooh bear magic. Would 100% recommend :)

Jane is a great host and her cat Esme steals the show! I felt very comfortable in that little roses room. And her attic room?! Incredible! What a place to be! I highly recommend booking that for yourself when in doubt :) Very quiet but central location. Loved it!

I had a fantastic stay at Caroline and Gary’s place! They are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. Since the countryside roads can get quite dark at night, Caroline even came out with a flashlight to greet us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their home is absolutely charming, full of English countryside character. If you're looking for a classic English cottage experience, this is the place to book! Their adorable dogs also made our stay even better—Pixie, the little Chihuahua, is super cute, and Neo, the friendly Labrador, is full of energy and hospitable. At night, they were completely quiet, so there’s no need to worry about them disturbing your sleep. Caroline is also a great cook! She prepared delicious homemade brownies for us, which was such a lovely surprise. In the morning, she prepare breakfast for us，making our short stay extra special. I only stayed for one night due to my travel plans, but I would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend ！

Sally was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The place is in such a lovely setting along with the space being cosy and inviting! We hope to return again to explore the beautiful area further!

Absolutely loved my stay in the shepherds hut, beautiful scenery of the land. Was very nice and clean. Hot tub was a nice addition to are stay as was the swing in the forest. I would definitely be coming back to sue as she was such a friendly host. And she gave us some nice recommendations of places to go and visit. And lovely homemade breakfasts brought to us every morning. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing stay over all! Rachel and Morgan were fantastic hosts, friendly, helpful and responsive. The location was a little bit far from the city centre but public transport was really close to the house and very convenient. The bedroom was tidy and comfy, and the shower was clean and spacious. Great experience!
