East Wittering Beach : locations de vacances avec terrasse

We had a wonderful stay at driftwood: a great location adjacent to the beach; within walking distance to a wonderful pub (the Lifeboat Inn) and right next to a bus stop with a regular service to Chichester. We spent a couple of days cycling around Selsey, exploring the surrounding area and the location was perfect for our needs, providing a comfortable, secure and tranquil retreat for us at the end of the day. Nick was a great host, who was attentive when we needed it, and left us some basic provisions to get us started, which was very much appreciated. We will come again!!

Monika was a brilliant host, the house was as described and very clean and well appointed. Excellent location for public transport and many excellent eateries to choose from. We stayed for two weeks and felt very at home.

Le logement est propre, calme et très joli. La cuisine est un vrai plus, on n'est pas obligé de manger froid ou au restaurant. C'est certe petit mais bien agencé et on y a été très bien à 2. Il y a un espace extérieur privé pour profiter du soleil et la plage n'est qu'à 5 minutes à pied, c'est hyper agréable. Wendy est sa famille sont très gentils et s'arrangent pour que l'arrivée soit agréable grâce à de petites attentions. En bref, j'y reviendrai sans hésiter pour un séjour à 2 !

I rather loved my stay here in Southsea, opposite Ravelin Park, and close to so many attractions. Portsmouth Museum is just across the road, the seaside about 10 mins walk, the Historic Dockyard and gunwharf not much further. The apartment itself had all facilities and appliances anyone might want. It was clean, warm and fairly quiet, considering the busy traffic. The wifi, telly worked fine. I prefer the lockbox for the key too. All in all, quite perfect. I would happily stay there again.

Such a lovely stay and beautiful accommodation. Mandy and Michael were very responsive and answered all the questions I had. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area :)

This was our second stay here. It is perfect in every way. The Old Exchange is lovely. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Joanne goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and is a great host. We particularly appreciated the food and drink items that were left for us. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Had an incredible stay. The house is stunning with amazing views of the sea from the lovely living area and upstairs bedroom. Beth left us eggs, butter, bread and orange juice which was a lovely touch.

We had an excellent stay at Jonathan's place in Petworth over a couple of nights for my wife's birthday. Jonathan was very friendly and extremely responsive and sorted us out with some great local recommendations. The house is in a perfect location in the centre of petworth within walking distance of the restaurants, pubs and shops. We couldn't really fault anything about our choice to stay at Jonathan's. Thank you very much!

If you are thinking about starting an Airbnb, Mary’s place is a great example of how to do things right. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and to be honest I wouldn’t change a thing. Mary was pro-active, friendly and helpful and gave me clear instructions as to how to access the place, where to park etc. I have already booked for later this year and will find myself in the same area next year; I will be back!

Wir waren mit sieben Personen in der Unterkunft und hatten ausreichend Platz. Der Aufenthalt bei Dawn war angenehm. Das Haus ist schön und in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen. Dawn war für Rückfragen stets erreichbar. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung.

Loved Carl’s place. The bungalow is right on the beach. We had fabulous weather which meant we could enjoy sitting in the garden, listening to the waves and watching the people go by on the path. Carl was excellent at communicating with us. I would definitely recommend this place. We will definitely be booking again.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Martin’s place and it was just as good as the first, if not better… as this time we stayed for longer! Excellent facilities for our disabled family member, the house was clean and surroundings very peaceful. This time we were able to enjoy the outside space too! We will definitely be returning.. thank you again, Martin, for a wonderful stay :)

Many thanks to Andrew for being a great host. We loved the accommodation and the location is perfect for the beach and walkable to the local shops and in a lovely area. The house is extremely well provisioned with everything you could need thought of. The pool table was great fun and the WiFi and smart TV made for nice relaxed evenings. We did not try the wood burner but the heating was so effective with clear instructions. the local beach is beautiful and clean and can be reached in about 5 mins walk. a perfect place for a mini break.

Had a long weekend with the family and it was a great base. The apartment was clean, comfy and had a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge which was great as we had multiple family groups that all bought lots of food. The main house is fabulous to look at and we could appreciate it's beauty. The pool was beautiful too, warm and relaxing...although personally we would have rather paid more at booking and the access be bookable but included in the price but understand this wouldn't suit everybody. There was lots of outdoor seating, garden games, ping pong and a large chess game and small climbing frame which were welcomed touches. We were left to our own devices despite the building being connected to home owners which we appreciated. Our only criticism was there are signs put out to show private garden areas but with dogs and children this can be a bit harder to control so some clearer boundaries might be more helpful for future guests. We had such a wonderful time at Rob's place in Elmer. The beach is on your doorstep with the most beautiful blue water! There are plenty of places to eat and drink both within walking distance and a short drive. Rob was fantastic with communication and also with recommendations on places to visit - we highly recommend taking a beach walk to Felpham and stopping for lunch at the Lobster Pot or taking another beach walk in the opposite direction for a roast at the Black Horse! The place itself was comfortable and clean and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

David was a very responsive host. He provided very clear instructions for the property. The property looks just like the photos, was clean, comfortable and in a great location for getting around. Just a short walk from the Ferry. David provided helpful suggestions on cycle hire & routes as well. This property was perfect for a couple looking for a weekend away and exploring the IOW.

Danke für die ausgezeichnete Unterkunft. Die nahe Lage zum Hafen mit allen möglichen öffentlichen Verkehrsanbindungen, ließen eine schnelle und unkomplizierte Fahrt in alle Richtungen zu. Durch die besondere Lage, war auch die Anfahrt mit dem Auto kein Problem und man konnte schnell und ohne Verzögerungen von A nach B kommen. Auch wenn ein kleiner Einkauf notwendig ist, findet man in in mittelbarer Nähe einen kleinen Einkaufsladen, der auch Brötchen anbietet. Durch die super Interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten schon allein in Portsmouth, hat uns die eine Woche längst nicht ausgereicht. Die Unterkunft selbst ließ keine Wünsche offen und der Aufenthalt war super schön und sehr angenehm. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.

We had a great weekend stay at Roman's Retreat. The flat is in a private road with a partial sea view. It is well located on the south coast of Hayling Island. We had great weather so were able to walk along the sea front with ease. On our first night we ate out in one of the local pubs, there were two very close by with other dining options. In the morning we nipped out to the convenience store (around the corner) and grabbed a coffee from one of the many coffee shops. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a large living room with two sofas. Everything you need for a couple or family of four. The bathroom and kitchen appear to be newly refurbished and therefore spotlessly clean. It's a first floor flat which benefits from a small balcony which I sat out on taking in the late September afternoon sun. We parked right outside in the private road which felt safe and secure. It's a great place for a visit to Hayling Island. Louise was a great host, very responsive. Thanks!

Number 22 is a beautifully presented holiday home which Fiona has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into with lovely little touches everywhere. Emsworth itself is a relaxed coastal town with the amenities a mere stroll away and is a great centre for heading out into the surrounding areas. It pays to be organised when planning your parking but there is plenty available even on a busy school holiday weekend. All in all very highly recommended.

A great place very closed to Arundel. Public footpaths easy to take from the house for long walk. The house is closed to the road but we can’t hear it from inside.

Really lovely comfortable, well laid out property which was spacious and well equipped. The welcome breakfast goodies was a really nice thought and much appreciated.
