Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt mitten in den Teeplantagen 🌿✨ Unsere Zeit in der Tea Cabin in Ella war einfach wunderschön! Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in den Teeplantagen und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick ins Grüne – perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der stilvollen Einrichtung, der tollen Terrasse und dem traumhaften Pool. Leider hat das Wetter nicht ganz mitgespielt, aber selbst im Regen war es ein Erlebnis! Wir haben es uns in der gemütlichen Badewanne mit Blick nach draußen gutgehen lassen und am Morgen sogar einen Pfau auf einer Palme beobachtet – einfach magisch! Wer nach Ruhe, Natur und einer einzigartigen Atmosphäre sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diesen besonderen Ort nur weiterempfehlen.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Chitra went out of her way to help us with advice on local hikes, a Sri Lankan cooking lesson, purchasing local ingredients, and discussions on Sri Lankan history. Happy Stones is a beautiful villa, perched on a steep mountain slope with spectacular views of the woodlands and hills below. The surrounding small villages are charming, and gives insight into the Sri Lankan way of life, away from crowds of tourists.

Just incredible! We kept extending our stay! This is an absolute hidden gem of a place with views to die for. The cabin is so beautiful with huge windows and lovely character. The bed is so comfortable too. We had three very friendly dogs keep us company and the neighbours cat! Watching the storms from the upstairs window was incredible and seeing fireflies in the trees was so magical! Sidhu kindly ordered us local breakfast from town each morning and had it delivered to us. He is the most helpful host and always responds quickly. He really goes out of his way to help you and messages to check you’re ok and if you need anything each day. The cabin is truly a place to relax, unwind and you can spend so much time just staring at the view and watching the wildlife (birds, monkeys, frogs!) I would love to return someday. Geweldig verblijf gehad in Ella. Prachtig ruim huis met prachtige tuin. Ons gezin heeft een top tijd beleefd. De conciërge, Keerthi, heeft ons tijdens ons verblijf de omgeving laten zien met tuk tuk en zijn vrouw heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt. Ik zou hier zo weer verblijven.

Absolutely loved our stay here, felt like home right away. Spent many hours chilling on the outside sofas which are very very comfy. Had everything we needed with the kitchen and big fridge-freezer. Marie was amazing, gave us great tips for elephant & croc spotting (we saw loads just cruising around in a Tuk Tuk). The garden was beautiful and peaceful with fruit trees and flowers and an outside shower to cool down. Staying here made our time in Arugam Bay a wonderful experience. Thank you!

We hadden hier een geweldige tijd. Ze waren zeer flexibel qua inchecken, wat wij als een voordeel zagen gezien wij op rondreis waren. We krijgen een warm welkom en voelden ons meteen thuis. Het huisje is geweldig en en proper (het rook er heel lekker). Het zwembad en de tuin werden dagelijks meermaals onderhouden, wat aangenaam is. De optie tot ontbijt en diner zijn ook een pluspunt. Eveneens kunnen zij instaan voor leuke activiteiten (zoals safari). Indien we vragen hadden of iets nodig hadden, kon dit vlot aangegeven worden via tekstbericht. Dit zorgde voor een vlotte communicatie. Maar ook in het echt konden we steeds bij het personeel terecht. We maakten eenmaal gebruik van een to go box (ontbijt) omdat wij een wandeling wouden doen om 05:00 uur. Dit werd voor ons de avond op voorhand klaargemaakt en was heel goed. Wij raden dit ten zeerste aan!

Wunderschönes Cabin mit toller Aussicht. Wir haben uns hier direkt zu Hause gefühlt. Wir haben mit dem gemieteten Motorrad, welches wir hier in der Unterkunft mieten konnten die atemberaubende Gegend erkundet. Wir können diese Unterkunft allen Empfehlen, die auf Ruhe und Natur wert legen und etwas abseits der üblichen Touri-Routen unterkommen wollen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!
