Eastern Province : locations de vacances avec terrasse

This is my 2nd trip to Happy Stones. Last year I stayed for 6 weeks, and I knew I had to come back... Happy Stones cottages are set in the most sublime peaceful environment. The view over Horton Plains is breathtaking, and at night you can lay in bed and look up at stars. I'm a digital nomad so I stay in a lot of places, and I can honestly say this is best view! I'm also a solo female traveller and this is the perfect environment for someone alone, it's private but in the grounds of Chitra's home, and if you need any support either she or her staff will help you. Chitra herself, is a wonderful lady - kind, caring, friendly and light hearted. You can either buy food to cook in the nearby village or enjoy delicious meals at Happy Stones - the chicken curry is the best I've had (and I've had a lot!). The WiFi is excellent also.

Had an epic few days relaxing in Nilaveli. What better place to unwind than the penthouse with amazing views, super clean and all the amenities one would need. Everything here was spectacular. There is even a lovely little beach restaurant next door that has excellent food. Beach was super clean and Pigeon Island was so close. Best views from the deck off the apartment. Sad to leave - Thank you Elaine and Rory!

Anjelo was a fantastic host and super responsive throughout and I can't thank the caretaker for the house, Keerthi, enough for taking care of my family when we stayed for a couple of nights. Keerthi helped arrange meals, took us around in his tuktuk to tourist sites, restaurants, the money exchange and even nearby shops and was always reachable within minutes and made our whole experience much more enjoyable. Highly recommend Anjelo's house !

Absolutely loved our stay here, felt like home right away. Spent many hours chilling on the outside sofas which are very very comfy. Had everything we needed with the kitchen and big fridge-freezer. Marie was amazing, gave us great tips for elephant & croc spotting (we saw loads just cruising around in a Tuk Tuk). The garden was beautiful and peaceful with fruit trees and flowers and an outside shower to cool down. Staying here made our time in Arugam Bay a wonderful experience. Thank you!

At Saffron Cottage, you're close to nature and your heart. Located a lil away from the city centre, it nestled amongst a tea plantation with breathtaking views of the valley! The route to the cottage can only be accessed by a Tuk-tuk which are usually a call away. The property is very well kept, cozy and intimate. Would definitely recommend especially for Couples! Saffron is the place if you prefer peace ✌️

Airbnb un peu excentré du centre de Ella mais tout proche du pont 9 arches et en pleine nature. Le logement était très propre. Ce que nous avons particulièrement aimé c’est la gentillesse et la réactivité de Dissanayake, il nous a conduit les 2 soirs au centre de Ella, nous a fait des petits déjeuner que nous avons mangé face à la vue. Tout était bien mais l’hôte rend vraiment ce Airbnb parfait, je recommande.

A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city - peaceful, surrounded by nature, and free from noise pollution. Duminda, David, and Charles made me feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was an unforgettable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Arawe Retreat is simply fantastic. From the beautifully appointed accommodation, to the attentive yet relaxed staff, to the tastiest food in Ella. We really had the best time here. Just a short Tuk Tuk from the busy centre of Ella, Arawe retreat provided an oasis of nature focused calm which was hard to leave. Ishanka and his team really have got things just right by creating the retreat around the existing nature and enhancing it. The wildlife noise at night is really something to behold and helps you drift off into relaxed tropical dreams. Huge thanks to Ishanka, Chaggar, Suren and Dashan. You really made this visit memorable and also a special thanks to Banda and Manike. We hope to get the chance to visit again x
