Beautiful, clean home in a lovely area. Host was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. Will definitely come back!

We booked Cheshan's place in less than 12 hours before arriving. The host quickly replied to our questions. He and the caretaker were very helpful and agreed to take our luggage for storage before checking in. The place itself is lovely and within walkable distance to the center and the lake. The apartment is in the new building with underground parking and a pub nearby. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this apartment for fellow travelers.

This is probably the best place to stay in Sri Lanka. It is a 6 hour drive from Colombo to Nilaveli, but it is definitely worth it to enjoy the stunning ocean and the excellent services in this apartment. 1. Amazing ocean. There is a great coastline with azure water and a convenient entry into the sea. Clean light yellow sand without any stones, rocks, jellyfish or sea urchins. Also in the OceanFront complex there is a great swimming pool. 2. Amazing apartment! We really liked the apartment where we stayed. Great sea view, everything you need for living and relaxing. The staff at the complex helped us with check-in and check-out. 3. OceanFront. This is a complex of several buildings. The main building has a small gym and a restaurant. There is also an excellent restaurant near the neighboring hotel. 4. Great hosts! Rory and Elaine went above and beyond to make us feel at home! And of course, Rasmi helped us a lot with everything!

First things first, the photos don’t do the place justice! The apartment really is beautiful, there is so much space, it is very well equipped and felt really homely. The pool area is excellent and you are right on the beach. It’s perfect for early morning walks and evening swims, of which we did both. The bed was really comfortable too. Handy having a restaurant on site. Highly recommend this property.

Our stay at Villa 232 was fantastic. The location was perfect for a peaceful holiday on the beach, with plenty of restaurants & attractions within an easy tuktuk ride. We were well looked after by a wonderful team of ladies led by Kasthuri & transported far & wide by Roshan. We wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Wir hatten 3 wundervolle Tage bei TrincoMo! Das Airbnb war tip top sauber und gepflegt. Wir wurden sogar mit einem Dinner begrüßt und uns wurde jeden Morgen nach Belieben Frühstück zubereitet. Es gab reichlich Tipps für Trincomalee und Umgebung und wir standen mit Sahana immer gut in Kontakt! Absolute Empfehlung! :)

I really struggled to write this review because there are no words to describe the hospitality we felt from Leann and Azeer. We felt at home and looked after from the moment we stepped foot on Sri Lankan soil. I feel like we have made friends for life. The whole trip felt serendipitous start-to-end. Leann has been more than generous with her time and her energy. We couldn’t be more grateful. And Azeer can make anything happen. The house is simple, but beautiful. The location is gorgeous, especially at sunset. We spent two blissful weeks here and wanted to stay longer. Not only did we fall in love with the place, we fell in love with Leann, Azeer and Bruno, who is one of the sweetest dogs I have encountered. It was a 10/10 experience start to end. I cannot recommend it enough!

We stayed an extra day and still didn’t want to leave My favourite place in Sri Lanka , unspoilt enough to feel immersed in the local area but plenty to do and see , the local people were welcoming and to step out of the back gate on to the beach was paradise Hosts were helpful and breakfast was huge and delicious Please never sell out to the tourism storm on its way .

Ich kann mich den sehr positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Auch für mich war dies ein sehr besonderer Ort! Das Guest House liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig fußläufig zum Ort. Nachdem die Tage zuvor etwas anstrengend und chaotisch waren, konnte ich hier direkt zur Ruhe kommen und die Akkus aufladen. Weit weg von allen Touristenströmen… Krishan und sein Team waren zudem sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Als wir da waren, haben wir uns kurzfristig für eine Safari entschieden, die Krishan für uns organisiert hat. Für uns war diese allein unter dem Gesichtspunkt möglich, dass diese im Respekt zur Natur- und Tierwelt durchgeführt wird. Dies war im Maduru Oya Nationalpark auf jeden Fall erfüllt. Wir haben 2x das Curry genossen, was absolut köstlich war. Unabhängig von der Safari, einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Sri Lanka. Danke Krishan!

Krishan is the man. One of the nicest guys we have met in Sri Lanka. His wife is very nice as well as being an amazing cook. The place is very clean and has a stellar air conditioner. The shower is the best part though, hot/cold and the best water pressure we have had yet. Krishan and his family took great care of us and Maha Oya is a great little town to walk around in as well as the surrounding area. Cheers for the great stay

Absolument FABULEUX !! Après une semaine en vadrouille avec nos deux enfants de 11 et 7 ans dans le centre et le Nord du Sri Lanka, l'appartement de Thuraisingam était exactement ce qu'il nous fallait ! Un resort de très belle qualité, sur une plage absolument magnifique. L'appartement est fidèle aux photos, la literie est top, les salles de bain également. Je recommande totalement !

Super lækker lejlighed med god udsigt og lækker pool. Relativt få muligheder for at spise i området, men vi fandt nogle okay steder ved stranden. Der er det der skal være i køkkenet til selv at lave mad, men heller ikke mere.

The apartment was beautiful! Spotless, with a beautiful view overlooking Nilaveli beach. The swimming pool was amazing, and the beach right ahead was BEAUTIFUL! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend. Also there were lots of restaurants local- great seafood restaurants and Lankan style cuisine. My family had a lot of fun! 😌 would definitely come back if Im ever in the trinco area again!

We stayed here for 6 nights at the end of a three week trip around Sri Lanka. It was a great way to end the trip, in a clean, air-conditioned and spacious apartment overlooking the sea. The setting is perfect - sunrise over the sea and picture postcard beach and palms in between. The apartment is part of a larger complex, but it never felt crowded and the pool and surrounding greenery were lovely. It’s clean, comfortable and spacious, perfect for a family. There are a few restaurants and amenities within walking distance but most stuff is either a hot walk or a tuk tuk ride away. It’s worth pointing out that if you’re planning to self-cater, there aren’t many grocery stores in the area and those that are there are sometimes sparsely provisioned. We tended to have breakfast in the apartment and then lunch and dinner locally. All in all, a fantastic base for a relaxing few days - we’d happily return and can equally happily recommend it.

Loved the place here. Everything was so organised and felt like we were staying in a 5 star property. The beach view was amazing! We made full use of our 2 day stay here by going to the beach and the pool. I had only 1 issue which is the lock in the common bathroom was not working. This was fixed in 1 day but , so that would be the only issue I faced. Outside of that I will highly recommend this place!

Had an epic few days relaxing in Nilaveli. What better place to unwind than the penthouse with amazing views, super clean and all the amenities one would need. Everything here was spectacular. There is even a lovely little beach restaurant next door that has excellent food. Beach was super clean and Pigeon Island was so close. Best views from the deck off the apartment. Sad to leave - Thank you Elaine and Rory!
